Drake's Tavern

I may be a bit partial, but I love drakes.Drakes really is a place where everybody knows your name. It's a nice little shot-gun bar... long, straight bar with stools, and a few little tables in the back, set just above the bar. They've got darts in the back, and they're always playing great music.It's dark and smokey, with lots of regulars, but everyone is very friendly and easy to talk with (not a stranger in the lot).If you're there over the weekend, make sure to cozy up to the bartender, Joe. The most easy going bartender in town, and fantastic taste in music!It's right in the middle of Cherry Street, so stop by after your next date night and check 'em out!Highly recommended.

Joe is the best bartender. He's attentive and friendly, and he has great taste in music. Each time I've been here, the patrons are friendly. It's a dark and smokey bar with a group of regulars that just add to the ambiance. Great place.

Dude- this bar rocks. You can't go with a bunch of friends, because only 10 or so people can even fit in here at once, but let's be honest- your friends probably aren't that great. I know mine aren't. Drake's is a smoking bar, so be prepared for that, but the drinks are cheap, the service is friendly, and after you get past the regulars being... well, regulars, you'll have an unbelievable time. Last time I went I spent all night throwing darts, at which I'm incredibly talented, and left feeling buzzed AND victorious. This place just feels right.

Nice little dive bar in Tulsa. A lot of people first think of Cellar Dweller when you ask them about a Tulsa dive bar. Drake's Tavern is a noteworthy contender. Why?-Cheap and strong drinks-Friendly staff-Classic no-frills barTHIS PLACE IS SMOKY! I don't mind a little secondhand smoke every now and then. If you do though, you may want to consider going somewhere else. When I was in there, the majority of people sitting at the bar were smoking cigarettes.This place is also VERY SMALL. It's not good for big groups. I went there with a friend and it was great.TIP: Ask for a "sonic" with a snack if you go. You'll be surprised with what you get.

OMG! Drakes,is AWESOME! cool little pub in Tulsa!!We walked in and the bar was abt 2feet from the door!!! I sat down the bartender chick immediately greeted us thats always a PLUS!The drinks were nice n strong and they had a good beer selection to boot!The crowd was very diverse and friendly they even have Darts upstairs!! Considering this place is kinda small I couldn't believe it even had an are for darts!This place rocks! I don't always hangout in Tulsa Ok but when I do I'll hang at Drakes Tavern..my"Dos Equis" voice.Whoop!

How do I review this place? It is your typical local dive bar with lots of smoke, cold beer and stiff drinks. Walk in, sit down, order a drink and it comes. No frills, no eyeballing, just a comfortable hang.

Cool, chill little dove bar on Cherry Street. Music was great. Lots of tv's, smoking but not too bad when we were in there.

As of Summer 2011, this is my favorite bar in Tulsa. If you want a place free of rednecks, dubstep douchebags, and pirate-shirt-wearing hipsters, this is the bar for you. It's the perfect place to go with a friend (as in one!) or date and have a conversation + drinks. The bartenders are attentive, and if you've never been in before they will probably introduce themselves.Other pros: Cheap. Music isn't -too- loud. Clean. Usually NOT packed with people. Last time I was in there, I heard "She's Electric" by Oasis. What more can you want??

Quaint little dive in the heart of Cherry street, my friends and I always have a great time at this bar! Drinks are decently priced, and easy to obtain. This is a great spot for 2 people to get a drink, but they only have one table that seats 4. Bathrooms are clean, and they have a darts board in the back.

Cute small little bar to have a drink before or after dinner in Down Town Tulsa. Hit and miss with a full bar but our third try was the charm.
