There is no reason this place shouldn't be 5/5 stars. From the delicious food, to the great service, they knock it out of the park! We have had several different things on the menu and everything is made fresh and tasty! What's funny is I'm actually giving this review while I'm eating leftovers from 2 days ago, and it STILL taste better than most other places! If you haven't tried Dot Wo, I would say it's a must try!

This used to be my go-to place for Chinese. However, the female manager started being rude and weird so I haven't been in a couple of months. But today, I was going to go back. However, when I checked the latest sanitation score (as I ALWAYS do) it was a shocking 88/100 as of 8/24/24. I never eat at a place below 96 because there are already a ton of restaurants at 100. Oh well. Not going back. Here is the basis for the low score:"Standard not met: Food properly labeled, original container, honestly presentedStandard not met: Warewash, sanitize equipment:Design, supplies, operated; Test strips; Temp guages; AlarmsStandard not met: Probe themometers provided & accurateStandard not met: Non-food contact surfaces clean; Cleaning frequencyStandard not met: Contamination prevented during food preparation, storage & display; Washing fruits/vegetablesStandard not met: Floors, walls ceilings (premises):clean, free of litter; Removal of pestsStandard not met: Food seperated/protected; Proper tasting procedures; Self-serve operations; Single service use when requiredStandard not met: Food equipment: improper use, operation (Materials, design)"

Order for delivery at my home tonight. Food was fresh and hot. Crab was good and lo main with orange chicken was the best. Grabbed a few more trays of shrimp king pow and pork belly. What would have gave them a 5 star but they send no napkins, no sauce. The orange chicken wasn't wet but dry. Still good. I'll most likely order to eat there. No more delivery.

Dot Wo is a true Oklahoma treasure, offering authentic Chinese cuisine that has kept me coming back for over 30 years. The restaurant is a labor of love, owned and operated by a dedicated husband and wife team. The interior is a feast for the eyes, with vibrant orange hues and stylish copper-colored metal accents creating a unique and inviting atmosphere. Whether it's a romantic date night, a family gathering, or a fun outing with friends, the ambiance at Dot Wo sets the stage for a memorable dining experience. My all-time favorites on the menu are the timeless Peking spare ribs, a dish I've savored for over three decades, and their seasonal: the gigantic lobster in a delectable ginger and garlic sauce! Every visit leaves me feeling thoroughly satisfied and content. To round off the meal, a comforting pot of oolong tea never fails to hit the spot.Dot Wo continues to exceed expectations, making it a go-to destination for anyone seeking delicious Chinese fare and a welcoming atmosphere. Here's to many more years of exceptional dining at this beloved establishment!"

Food was so delightfully presented that everyone dug in immediately. I had a chance to shoot the egg rolls and my leftover chicken fried rice with extra broccoli.Even though they appear to be understaffed, all 4 are on the spot and on point with refills and food is served nice and hot. Ambiance is pleasant. Music not too loud and clientele is courteous and cognizant of other patrons on site.

When this restaurant was in Edmond my husband and I enjoyed having date nights there. We hadn't been since they moved so we decided to try the most recent location near Memorial. The menu has changed, one of our favorites is no longer served, but we found a couple items from the lunch menu to try and we were very pleased!

I've driven past this intersection a thousand times and never noticed this restaurant sitting amongst the others. It was recommended by a friend and was a good choice. There's a full service bar so you can enjoy adult beverages along with your meal. I tried a small cup of the egg drop soup and found it as expected but with some little straws of "crackers" on the side in place of the standard flat crunchy won tons. They were a delightful change of pace. My husband tried an egg roll and said it was delicious. I picked the Crunchy Chicken with Peking sauce and fried rice for my entree. It was pretty good but was missing something that I couldn't put my finger on. It had a little bit of spice but I like that. The portion was enormous. I'm including a picture of the clamshell of leftovers that I took home. It seemed so heavy that I weighed it and was surprised to discover that it was 1.4 pounds of leftovers!! You won't leave hungry. My husband had the crab fried rice. I couldn't believe he managed to eat his entire serving. He said it was delicious with a generous amount of crab and was well seasoned. He also chose the fried rice instead of steamed rice. The atmosphere is nice and it's well decorated. We are rather early so it was quiet. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive and we never wanted for anything. The waitress offered to add the fried rice with my take home portion. We'll definitely be back to try other dishes.

1) The "chicken" doesn't taste like any chicken I've ever eaten. Perhaps a DNA test should be performed on it. It is DEFINITELY the oldest, STRINGIEST, least flavorful chicken-adjacent food I've ever had. 2) the older female manager is extremely unpleasant. She yells at you and doesn't give you what you ordered. So be sure to open any to-go orders and check to make sure you get what you wanted. They do not care when they screw up your order. Which is a feature and not a bug. 3) It seems this place is under some sort of financial pressure. Everything I ordered (that I was lucky enough to get in my bag when I got home) was smaller, less flavorful, and just yuckier than I've experienced from them in the past 2 years I've been giving them my business. The egg rolls are smaller and mostly dough. The crab Rangoon is completely devoid of cheese filling and the thought of it actually containing crab is hilarious. The sesame chicken should come with a side of toothpicks because the "meat" is so tough. most of what was called Sesame chicken was just fried dough. In short, this place is disgusting.
