I had a few old coins that sat in my closet many years. They weren't being enjoyed by anyone and I wanted to change that. I had seen Don's every time I passed 31st and Yale so when I made up my mind I took a few in. I was quickly greeted and a lady put all my coins on a felt tray for someone to appraise. She also separated each type into stacks. Afterwards she told a man that I was ready. He promptly came over and began grading and valuing each one. I was given a total that he would pay for all. I had a couple that I felt had more value and I asked to keep them. He, again, had no issues at all. Once a price was agreed on I was promptly paid in cash. I will return and also recommend Don's Coins to everyone.

The owners are very kind and patient. My grandmother had to sell my grandfather's stamp collection to help cover his medical bills. They were very gracious.

Tom, the owner of Don's coin & Jewelry is dishonest. In 2011 I wanted to buy Palladium because the spot (ask) price was $720 an ounce, and I had seen the price as high as $850. I gave him a check, and he ordered the metal for me. When I picked it up, the receipt he gave me said $760 each, not $720 so I asked him why. He stated that the physical metal was worth more than the spot price, and I believed him. When the spot price reached $760 I took all of my Palladium back to him to sell, thinking I would make a nice profit. He said I was still underwater on them, and that I would break even if it reached $800! I held the metal until 5-1-2014 and took it to APMEX in Oklahoma City and got $807.66 each. the spot (bid) price was then $811. Buy and sell your gold, silver, platinum, etc.from APMEX, you won't be sorry!

This guy told me my 20171oz gold Queen's Beast Lion Ultra Cameo NGC 70 was a Brittish coin nobody was interested in. He went on to say the grading means nothing when it comes to bullion. He offered me melt price. He is nothing short of a thief.. Stay clear

I walked in at 1:15pm on a Saturday. Google states they close at 2. Tom begins to tell me not to come into his store without checking with him (unprofessional) I suddenly feel rushed into buying a coin. I pay him cash for it (literally thousands of dollars)and proceed to go to my truck in a hurry to examine my purchase, after I was greeted so rudely and felt like I needed to leave. I notice the PCGS holder the coin Tom sold me is all scratched up and the corner is badly damaged. I go back to the door and knock. He answers and I tell Tom "I don't want this, let me have my money back, I'll come back and choose one that isn't so beat up at another time". He then proceeds to tell me "do me a favor and never come back, I don't want to put up with your bullshit" I politely waited for my money and left. This guy is unprofessional and just a bad person, you don't treat paying customers like this. I hope any people reading this decide not to visit his store. You don't treat people like he does. He's a horrible, greedy human being
