My experience with Don Thornton Cadillac is THE MOST DESPICABLE LYING CAR DEALERSHIP I have ever experienced. The whole process was filled with deception and mistruths. Over a three week period not ONCE did they meet their commitments. They are Deplorable and I would strongly offer one mans opinion....Shop Elsewhere. My experience with Don Thornton Cadillac was extremely disappointing. Not the fact that I did not get the car, but the manor or tone of potentially purchasing the vehicle.. I do not feel as if I ever received a straight answer. Was told the car was sound and to come take a look. Upon arrival no one was to be found. Finally a service man came out on the lot and asked if I needed assistance. Told him I was there to see car x. He replied the car was in for service. I asked if possible could I see the car and he said he would go check. Shortly he returned with the car. I was allowed to sit in the car and a salesman soon appeared with the keys. Said...go ahead and start her up. I did and the car kicked and sputtered so bad the car was turned off immediately to avoid further damage. Was informed the car would be sent to service. After a week was told it was back available for viewing. Came again for a test. Brought the agreed upon cash to purchase .I was excited to be going to purchase the car. The test drive was disappointing. This time the check tire sensors required checking and the Air bag warning said needs repair. The salesman went to check with his boss. Now I was told the car was selling as is and no further work would be authorized. Obviously, I said no to the new conditions. For which I really got no definitive answer except sorry..that's the way it is nowI certainly went with the expectation that Thornton was a reputable dealer. I am just one person and have to say the total experience was unprofessional. Again, not upset the car deal didn't work out, just the nonchalant careless attitude.Since when does a safety hazard become an as is purchase from a supposedly Reputable Dealer. Guess I expected more from Don Thornton Cadillac .No thanks with my business.I was called and told all was fixed and come back for the car. I did return and the car performed perfectly. Only issue said low tire pressure. Discussed and phoned back to say I would be in tomorrow to pay for the car. My nice salesman said he was off that day and to return in two days. He was even nice enough to offer to drive my new purchase and follow me home. Then I would bring him back to the dealership. To my surprise when I called to finalize times....I was told the car was sold while he was off.Enough of my rambling...no car...no real answers....just Disappointment. Gary F. 4/14/21

I brought my Audi in for some cosmetic damage to the front right bumper and fenders. I live in OKC and they were kind enough to give a rough estimate from afar without taking my vehicle in. They worked with my insurance and got everything taken care of within a couple of weeks time. From time of dropping. My car off to pickup, it was about 7 days as they quoted. I inspected the work and it looks flawless. The panel is as good as new and the paint (Mythos Black) looks excellent. They also detailed the car. Inside and out looked spotless. Thanks Donnie.

Go elsewhere. Prices are high. Still, I am in another state, and they had a particular color and options I wanted. The sales person agreed after confirming with management to a "drive out," price, which we confirmed together by phone. No confusion. Then, they send a short one page with a breakdown of costs (not mentioning taxes). They hoped to get me to commit to the breakdown which was not drive out. No taxes were itemized. "Oh yes, you can trust us... we're not like the rest." They will act friendly and sneak something in. EVERYONE in the car biz knows "drive out" includes taxes - it means the final dollar amount before you drive off. Oh, the dealer thought I wanted to pay taxes on my own? Really. No respect, and not what I'd expect from a Cadillac dealer. Stay away from this dealer....

Carl was my salesman and he was fine but Cathy in finance was completely fraudulent. She added a very expensive item/service to my purchase after I had already agreed on price, signed on said price, and told her I did not want any extras at all. No warranty etc. All I could see was the signature pad and she assured me there were no extras, just the price of the car. But wait! She forgot to credit my down payment! She said she fixed it but my documents are conflicting. However, she padded her commissions with an insurance product I was not aware of and would have declined. Sneaky! I have documentation of asking her to remove it and her stating she had received my request, only for the dealer to say they never received it. If I had it to do over again, I would avoid this dealership. If they can't do simple math and forget to credit a customer's down payment, how can one have faith in the product they sell? Horrible, stressful experience for me.

Dealing with Carl was a true pleasure. Zero pressure. Very knowledgeable and very nice! His sales manager, Cord was just more of the same. Terrific car buying experience. And I love that Lyriq!

I previously left a bad review for Don Thornton Cadillac but want to correct the review. I had many issues with tires and dash screen but all has been resolved thanks to Bob the service manager. It took a lot of time but they did everything they could to make everything okay. I have never had any problems before this appointment but they made sure everything was taken care of. Will go back again as usually it's always been good. Thanks again Bob!!

a minute agoWould NOT recommend Don Thornton Cadillac. Called on a vehicle for my mother and struck a deal via text with the salesperson named Ariel (who's phone number I have partially blocked from this screenshot so it doesn't get taken down) for $36,000 out the door. I called her and put a $500 deposit on the car to hold it until Saturday morning. Upon arrival after driving to Tulsa from Enid, the price became $38,000. She brings in a manager by the name of Drew, who proceeded to tell us that there's no way he can take $36,000 for the car regardless of the text conversation I have on my phone with the salesperson. They didn't even attempt to work out a deal on this or try to meet us in the middle at $37,000. It was basically, "Sorry you drove two hours because we falsely quoted you a price on a vehicle. That sucks!" Then rolled back out. If Drew is the best they can do for a 'manager', wow. He's very disrespectful and pompous. Not what I've seen at other Cadillac dealerships. Take your business elsewhere.

Didn't even greet me - I had to ask if there was someone to help me. The salesman had no interest in me and wouldn't even answer my questions because a couple was waiting to drive the car I was intending to purchase. He had the audacity to say he was going to sale them the car but he had to give me the opportunity because I was there first. So disrespectful and rude. Would never return for any car at any price!
