Don Justo Red Tacos

The atmosphere inside Red Tacos is absolutely amazing! They have wall-facing table top seating, and 3 square tables. The restaurant is decorated with vines and lights in the window, the lighting is great and it was very clean! When we entered, a cashier was ready and attentive. She was so nice, I didn't get her name but I think she had multi-colored hair (maybe dark brown and blonde) and a 777 tattoo on her knee! Just want to shout her out if she sees this! She helped us understand the menu, wasn't impatient or condescending, and answered all our questions!!After ordering, we were brought (complimentary) those puffed up cracker chips fried in oil with an array of sauces from mild to hot! Neither of us had tried them before, one of us didn't like them and the other thought they were okay! The food came out pretty quickly after that.We ordered the same thing. 3 "Red" tacos (which just means they're fried in a crispier shell instead of in a regular soft, and the onion and cilantro are on the side), rice, beans, I think a consomé(?), and a Jarritos soda which came with our "#3 Combo" for $15.97 per/combo.Absolutely delicious tacos! They were hot & bigger than expected, the cheese was melted perfectly, and there was lots of meat on each! The consomé was like a cinnamon broth?? I'm not exactly sure what exactly the purpose of that was! Neither of us drank it. Beans and rice delicious. Would return if I'm ever in the area again!

This is a food truck, but they have 2 covered tables. This was my first excursion for Birria tacos, so I figured I would try the self proclaimed best Birria tacos in Tulsa. They did not disappoint...flavors were fantastic. Momma said she'd be back, my attendance was optional? Hey now!! Basically three options here, so if you are looking for elote or a grilled chicken burrito...go elsewhere. You can get individual red tacos, with or without cheese, or a platter of three, rice, beans and consume' or five with consume'. Beverages are limited to Mexican orange, strawberry and cane sugar Coke in glass bottles, with no recycling. If these don't tickle your fancy, bring your own. The good... Birria tacos are delicious, and not overpriced at about $2.75 each or less.The bad... It's Birria or nothing. That's what they serve. Beverages are limited and sold in glass bottles, with no recycling. Overall, if you want Birria tacos, this is a win. Want something else? There are at least 6 places in a half mile to get your options.

Don Justo Red Taco4/5 w/o consommé 5/5 w/ consommé We ordered two red birria tacos with cheese for $5.97. After watching a few others order, we gave in and added a small cup of consommé for $1.50 (and boy, was it worth it).Upon first bite, Grant looked at me and said "this is going to be one of my top ten Tulsa meals".The consommé really added to the tacos, and held up well on its own. Packed with meat, broth, and spices, this 8 oz cup made our tacos the true stars of the day. The little bit of cinnamon was a strong add to the overall flavor profile, and the meat was tender and well seasoned. Oaxaca cheese added a lot as well, and they doubled up on tortillas, which we all now know I like. They had good, fresh toppings. The salsa was okay, but in my opinion, you don't even need it!

Grateful for the generosity of this business in serving at the East Tulsa Community Baby Shower. The food was amazing and staff worked diligently and patiently!

Finally had the opportunity to visit this place. Located in the NW parking lot at 21st & Garnett where there are several other taco trucks, this one stands out by being red. It also has seating covered by a metal awning. I was so excited to try these tacos which i have seen on my IG but unfortunately were all located in So Cal (insert sad face lol). At first bite I wasn't overly impressed, I'm wasn't sure what to expect since I'd never had them before. They were delicious but i felt it was missing something. Maybe some sort of seasoning?? Idk. I enjoyed the experience of dipping them in the broth(be sure to stir it up). The beans and rice were typical of a taco truck. And their red sauce Is fire so be easy with it lol. I'll eat there again for sure.

My first time eating red tacos with consume. They were delicious! I got the special of five cheese tacos with a 8 oz consume. You can get the tacos with cheese or without. This is a food trail with a big awning and picnic tables. A nicer place than most food trucks.

What is this Birria Taco I've been hearing about? I'll tell you what. D Lish Us! It's literally roast beef like your momma made for Sunday dinner but stuffed in two tortillas, that's right, TWO tortillas with white cheese served with the best consommé for dipping. They are just a little pricier than most tacos but they are also way more filling. My wife and I opted for the five tacos and consommé and added an extra taco so there wouldn't be any lost fingers in the potential melee brought on due to an odd number Will definitely be back for another round soon. You should too!

I love the street tacos! Very filling!! Lots of different franchise sauces to try (and buy for home use.). Glad they have a permanent location besides their food truck.

The tacos are to die for! Wish they gave more lime but that my opinion. 12 tacos easily feed 4-5 people. I loved the online ordering platform and the storefront they have.

This has got to be the best tacos I've had in Tulsa. The service was great and fast even with delivery orders coming in nonstop. Service was great and very personable. Enjoy the decor and ambiance of the restaurant. Definitely a place I'd go back to more than once.
