I have been taking my dogs to Doggies Day Out for 20 years. This is a good trust worthy Grooming shop. The ladies are always so nice and do a really good job. This is a family business and not a chain so I really like supporting our local shops. Give them a tryYou will be pleased with the grooming. The ladies have been with Doggies Day out for years so they really know what they are doing.

Let's just say I went back in after dropping them off and rescued them. I knew it didn't feel right. It was SO DIRTY inside. Cigarettes everywhere. Used diapers on the floor. Cigarette boxes all over the floor. Trash on the floor, on the grooming tables. There was no room for the dogs on the grooming tables. It was GROSS. when I went in to get them the lady said "good thing you are getting them back because the lady that does the grou isn't going to be in till after her 11am doctors appointment and doesn't know how long it will take, so they would have been here all day". Keep in mind I dropped them off at 7:30am! Soooo happy I took them to another place. NO WONDER THEY OFFER YOU THE DOG PERFUME in the beginning! To cover the CIGARETTE smell!! Reply to owner:Haha I find it so funny that every time someone leaves a bad comment you are so defensive and rude. Makes what we are saying that much more valuable. So thanks :)I only comment when I need to warn people of a scary ass place like yours. I would NEVER leave my dogs there. And to your comment you don't know who I am and you own the place?! Lol. That's hilarious. How about you know who is coming in and out is your "business". Oh wait that's right, you don't show up to work till ya feel like it. I know lots of people in this town, sorry.

Our terrier badly needed a haircut and they were able to take us in that within the week and gave us a very accurate quote. Our dog came back nice and groomed with an adorable bandana as part of the grooming. We'll definitely be coming back next time.

I recently moved to Tulsa Oklahoma and I needed to find a groomer for my two babies who were both rocking their winter coats. I called Saturday morning and surprisingly they were able to take the dogs. They did a great job on the cuts and the dogs were happy. The only negative is that upon drop off I was told they would be ready between 2-3pm and they weren't ready till after 5, somehow they ended up being the last two even though I dropped them off at about 9:45am. This would have been fine if they would have told me that or simply called to let us know that they had been backed up. I called about 2:30pm, we were out to pick them up and they lady said "oh no I won't even get to them and be done until 5! I was so disappointed BC I could have kept them until later in the afternoon brought them later to be groomed bc I don't like them in a stressful environment all day. Also, I signed up to pay extra to get their nails clipped and smoothed, they forgot that, she offered but my fiance was pretty irritated and wanted to get home so I said no worries. I do love the cuts though thank you!

They always do an excellent job with his cut. We drive past numerous other groomers just to bring him here.

Family owned and operated! They have been in business for many many years and Mindie is great with every dog she grooms. No matter the size or the temperament of every dog, you can count on them being loved and groomed with the best of care!

Really love this place for getting my dog groomed. I've been going here for YEARS. One of my dogs gets shaved and the other two nail trimming. One is a dramatic Chi and screams bloody murder but they are so sweet and patient with her.My review says I'm in San Francisco....I'm in Tulsa!

We have using them for our Yorkie and Golden Retriever for several months. Service has been progressively going downhill, but yesterday was the worst. When I dropped my Golden off before 8 I told them I needed him back by 4 because we had dinner reservations for a special occasion and I needed to take him home first. I stopped in at 4:30 and he wasn't ready and they had apparently forgot to dry him so they said it would be another 30-40 minutes. That was bad enough. Even though he is a service dog and I could take him to dinner with us, we hadn't been planning on doing that. When we went back to pick him up at 5:30, my girlfriend went in to pick him up because it would not have been pretty if I did. When she complained about the timing and asked for a free visit or at least a discount things went bad. The owner started yelling at her and threatened to hold our dog hostage until they were paid. After more back and forth, she paid and left. Turns out he wasn't really dry. He didn't smell like he had been bathed. The worst and most dangerous part of it all was that it was clear by how much water he drank that he had not been adequately watered throughout the day. I hate leaving bad reviews and would just generally let bad service go, but this was such a poor job from execution to timing, unprofessional, and most importantly, dangerous for my dog. We will never go back again and cannot recommend strongly enough that you take your dog elsewhere. In response to what the owner wrote below:I was giving you the benefit of the doubt before and it bit me in the butt. Aren't you the owner? Aren't you responsible for your employees and their actions? He was in before 8 and I told her I needed him back by 4. You and your business is the joke. You lie and don't take responsibility for your screwups. You told me when I came in that you forgot to dry him. He drank two bowls of water after being picked up which tells me he wasn't provided adequate water. I was trying to overlook the obvious problems with you and your business because you were convenient and had done an adequate job before. I should not have ignored all the warning signs and that is my bad. Just trying to help others not make the same mistake. Any reputable business owner would have apologized profusely, offered a discount or free grooming, and promised to get to the bottom of the matter and fix any issues. You blame the customer. Pretty much what I expected. In response to the owner's second comment:Don't listen to this woman. She is faulting her customer for all her problems. Not a way to treat customers. Others have complained about customer service here before. Believe these complaints or take your chances! Look around with open eyes and you can tell by how crappy the place looks and other tell-tale signs that there is obviously something wrong here. I ignored the warning signs and it caused this huge headache. Don't do the same.

I have taken my dogs here many times, my miniature poodle, Jewels has been the most since she needs full grooming. Piper my larger short haired dog, goes for an occasional bath and nail trim. The quality of cut is impeccable, I have never experienced such expertise at Jewel's previous salon. She always comes back with a poodle cut, and she is clean, hair is even without bald spots. Her previous groomer never gave the precision cut that she receives at Doggies Day Out.
