Our 2.5 y/o loved this place! It was amazing compared to what we have where we're from (LA). In our area, the only children's museum (located in Pasadena, CA) is double the price of this place, way run down compared to this place, and not nearly as clean as this place. We went here a few weeks ago during our holiday visit to my sister's place. This place is enormous and you could literally spend hours here without your kids getting bored regardless of what they're into. My kid's fav was probably the ball area and the echoing room. I went in the tape slide thing with him to start and have a few warnings about that thing lol. The only way not to slide backwards walking up the enormous incline the tubes are on is to go barefoot and ... gross lol. If you have a little one like me, esp one who is overly cautious on this sort of stuff and won't do it alone, be aware that you'll both get run over in that thing by kids on their own running around. My son could barely get inside without getting knocked over. The slide itself is really steep and goes super fast, so I wouldn't have wanted him to go down it alone. Needless to say, we only climbed around in that tape thing once lol. The place is crazy clean for being a giant play structure. The bathrooms were clean, too. The temp outside that day was cold AF, and they kept in comfy inside so you weren't sweating to death in winter clothing running around. I don't know what I thought was the coolest as an adult because truly, this place has so much to offer. Probably the echo room was the most neat to me because it was super interactive AND required little parent participation haha. My mom is in a wheelchair and she was able to get around in there just fine and was able to be safe off to the side, but still get to see everything perfectly well, so I appreciated that aspect a lot.

I've been to a good share of children's museum and the one in Tulsa seemed fun so we decided to go and check it out. It's located right across from The Gathering Place so you could really have a full day here if you wanted. Parking was a bit rough if you come later rather than earlier but we managed to find a spot in the front. Admission was very reasonable and staff were nice.Upon entering, you are welcomed with a wide open space with plenty to do and many types of activities for all ages. It's a good museum for Tulsa but since I've been to many others, I don't know if it's worth it because the place seemed more for big kids 8+ because some of the things the kids weren't able to do cause they couldn't climb over the barrels or knitted landings. There wasn't much seating either in all areas so the parents had to stand. The space although looks big is limited in physical activities and we were there not even two hours and we were done. It's good for Tulsa but it's a one and done for me. It's worth checking out if you've never been.

Discovery lab is so much fun not just for kids but also the adults. The staff also didn't seem super annoyed to be working there so that made it more enjoyable for me as the mom. My son is almost 2 and had a great time! We took him when he was 1 and he was too young for almost everything. I would not suggest coming here until your child has the ability to run. Not that they're going to be running inside, but they need to be to that physical developmental level to not get trampled by bigger children. It can get very busy and it's not the biggest building. A ton of fun. Would highly suggest to any family!

What a time we had discovering at the Discovery LabThe kid in me loved it but my nephews (the real kids) enjoyed it. I had to peel them away (funny because of the tunnel - read on).On a hot summer day, we decided to visit the Gathering Place. To cool off, we ran to Discovery Lab and I couldn't get them back outside after entering. This place is soooo cool, but I was impressed by the tunnel that ended in a slide (all created using packing tape - TAPE). I am not sure how many children or adult children (including me) have passed through BUT it is holding up well. Explore water at the hydro lab, build your own parachute, compose math through music at math+music, design an image at the waterfall...WoWzers!If that isn't enough - there is a little lab for the younger crew (4 & under) and a healthy cafe that has pizza!!!

We've come a couple times now, and my daughter loves it every time. She calls it the 'Ada Twist Scientist Club'. Not only does she love it, but we are adults also love it. Not a lot of places do a good job of creating a space where everyone from a toddler up through adults can enjoy their time, but Discovery Lab accomplishes just that. We've come with just a group of toddlers before and we also recently came with a small group of toddlers and lots of adults. Everybody was having a good time, and other than a few of the adults, I don't think anybody felt like the kids or the adults were conflicting with their experience.I like how open it is here-it makes it pretty easy to find your child if they wander off. While my child loves all the balls, water activities and the slide made of duct tape, her favorite space to explore are the little labs across from the main play area. She's very hands on and enjoys the attention of doing an experiment with someone. We will likely buy a membership this year because it's a great value if you feel like you'll come more than a couple of times, which I see is doing now that my daughter is a little older and she can come with one of us after school for a couple hours here and there.

I've been wanting to check it out ever since they opened their new facility by the Gathering Place back in February. The previous Children's Museum by Owen Park is no longer in operation. I hadn't been able to though, because they have a policy that adults must be accompanied by a kid, which seems to be a safety/preventive measure. The Tulsa STEM Regional Alliance had a special community night event to celebrate Siegfried Space Week so I finally got my chance. First off, the location could not be better, with so many families being able to enjoy as they have a fun outing at the park. There's a small parking lot adjacent to the building. There's an outdoor amphitheater and a cute cafe called Bean Sprouts. As soon as you enter, you know you're in a special space, specifically curated for exploration. You are greeted by the huge tape tunnel/slide which is a hit with kids and adults alike. There are cubbies where you can put your shoes when you're on there. They have various exhibit areas, each focused on different aspects of science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM). All spaces and activities are hands-on, sparking creativity, innovation, critical thinking and problem solving. It is truly an interactive experience, with many activities requiring collaboration. There's a HydroLab where kids can write their name in a water wall, launch rockets, and build up pressure in the water target gallery. There's a math and music section where kids can compose their own song. There's an energy section where kids can race a solar roller coaster and see how much power they can generate from a wind turbine. There's a Ballapalooza area where kids can move/throw balls all over the place. There's a geology section where kids learn about earthquakes and an electricity area with a plasma globe. Finally, they also have areas where staff lead kids in activities, one is specifically for kids 4 and under. Totally blown away by this. It's a must for families!

This was the second time here with my 8 year old and friend. This place is no longer a secret! It was packed full of kids of all ages and day camps. My introverted self had a little anxiety upon walking in, but the boys did not at all seem bothered. I was impressed that the noise level was not unbearable with all of the people. Also, there are so many areas and activities to explore and learn! They found some things they did not see last time and enjoyed revisiting other activities. It was a great time.

Great news La e for children of all ages to play and learn at the same time. Always something new to learn and create. The cost of a yearly membership is very reasonable. Great for after school energy release. Staff is so kid friendly. My grandchildren love it and I it never gets old
