Giving these folks 5 stars for serving me the best pot roast over fries I've ever had! This place a little out of the way if ur in Tulsa, but well worth the drive. It's right off highway 75 at 86th street north. This place is simple looking and homey and they have some great cooking going on there. The ladies that were working were warm and welcoming, the service was excellent. Pot roast is usually a sunday thing for these folks, but they have lots of other good food available if that doesnt float ur boat. Everyday they post their specials board on their FB page and there is usually something very tasty that is the daily special.

Tried D's Hot Kitchen for lunch today. Very good diner, with very friendly folks. This occupies a space at 86th St North and Hwy 75, which is an older space, but D's has rehabbed it and it's nice and clean.Menu is fairly short, focusing on basic diner fare, with sandwiches, burgers and basic dinners, such as Chicken Fried Steak/Chicken, Pork Chops, Meatloaf, etc.Per my usual first try, I went with CFS, mashed potatos and green beans. My meal arrived in a really good time, so that's a plus. The portion was probably a little small for a dinner, but for lunch it was perfect. The CFS itself was one of the better ones I've had lately. A little thin, but fork tender with a great coating. Like most CFS, there was a little shrinkage around the edges, but that's just a thing you deal with. Potatoes were real, not instant, and plenty of gravy on both. The green beans were really well done, with onions and bacon in good quantities. With a glass of tea, lunch ran to just north of $15, but that's a good price to me for something fresh cooked to order.Overall, I'm very satisfied. Again, good people, good food and good service. I chatted with the owner at the register and got to know him a bit, and he's a good guy. I plan on making D's a regular in my rotation.

D's Hot Kitchen is easy to overlook. It sets off the road on the north side of 86th st North, on the West side of Hw 75. My wife and I gave it a try on Friday evening. We were greeted at the door and told to choose our seat. They are open for lunch and dinner. I ordered chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and corn. My wife ordered fried pork chops with mashed potatoes and corn. The chicken fried steak and pork chops were large portions. The mashed potatoes and corn were good as well. Our waitress informed us that they have catfish dinner special on Fridays. It really looked good. We were pleased with our dinner and service. The only reason for the four stars is the restaurant needs a facelift. And a larger restaurant sign that can be easily seen from the street/ highway

Why is this business listed as "Seafood, American"? Not a single bit of seafood shown on the menu.

We have visited D's Hot Kitchen three times in the past several months and never had a bad meal. Most recent visit was a bacon cheeseburger and fries to go. Easily one of the best hamburgers I have had in the Tulsa area. Good, fresh home cooking with a small town family diner vibe. Thankfully we live close, but it is definitely worth the drive out North.

Food was excellent! Home cooked food, I had pot roast, my husband had catfish- everything was perfect. Came out hot, cooked well, not too seasoned but very tasty. Clean and simple dining room, phenomenal service. Highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic. We found this place a month ago and have been back every week (sometimes twice a week). Been surfing the menu and trying different dishes. All of them have been wonderful. The staff are super friendly. The cleanliness is top notch. Will definitely be going back.

Tried it for a late to-go lunch today. My husband got the chicken fried steak dinner and I got the fried meatloaf sandwich with the whammy sauce. My husband said the CFS was really big and really good. The fried meatloaf was quite tasty and the whammy sauce was truly amazing. We will definitely be back soon and often. Staff is friendly and it is wheelchair accessible. I would have been there sooner if I had known about it. Highly recommend.
