We've been several times and this was one of our best visits. My biggest complaint on this trip was the scent of the diffuser which was very sweet, strong and overpowering. It was just below headache inducing. We were greeted by friendly staff at the restaurant stand. Note that the restaurant is inside the hotel so you may have to walk to the Sheridan entrance. We had the pleasure of Nikara taking care of us and she did a wonderful job. We ordered the Parker Rolls to start. They were delicious but I'm not a fan of the trend of charging for a bread service. My husband ordered his favorite dish, the Volcano Roll. It arrives to the table engulfed in flames and is quite spectacular. I don't think you could convince him to try anything else on the menu. I tried a new dish, the Steak Stirfry. It is the best dish I've had at Culprits and this is probably my sixth visit. It was as delicious as it looks and I'll probably order it again when we return. One friend ordered the Chicken Fried Ribeye and was very happy. On a previous visit we both ordered it and unfortunately the steak was terribly overcooked, saved somewhat by the gravy. He said that it seemed to be a thicker cut this time and was not overcooked. His husband ordered the Dijon Chicken and enjoyed it. He did find the pasta to be an odd addition and not flavorful. It appears to just be taking up space on the plate. He said a small spring salad would've been a nice break from the heaviness of the rest of the meal. There is a valet service so you don't have to try and find parking. There are some downtown restaurants that have complimentary parking but this isn't one of them.

Interior was modern, dim lit, atmosphere was enjoyable. Definitely a good place to go grab a drink. Server- was good and knowledgeable of the menu We ordered Appetizers Chow Calamari- 1/5- batter was mushy and barely crisp, calamari was hard rubber, aioli was bland, sweet thai chile is basically sweet and sour sauce, feels like it was precooked already Overall-flavorless rubber Flaming Scallops-3/5- good sear, scallops were tender and sweet, presentation is nice, garlic butter was just regular butterOverall needed salt and garlicAtomic Volcano Roll- 2/5- tempura fry was crisp, decent flavor, rice was mushy, scallops were inedible, mostly cream cheese, coated with sweet and sour sauceOverall- I'll go to a sushi restaurant for sushi Entrees Chicken Fried Ribeye-1/5-gravy and tiny serving of Gouda mash was good, "ribeye" had texture of jerky and gravy couldn't save it, and creme corn was basically cold corn mixed with mayonnaise, and why put the mash on top of the ribeye and not on the side like the corn????Overall- Flavorless and poor execution N.Y. Strip w/ Black Garlic Butter-2/5- asked for medium and somewhat tender, top section was medium well, middle section was medium, bottom section was medium rare from one cut of N.Y. Strip. Black garlic butter carried the steak and still lack salt.Overall- needs salt and bad execution Overall- Flavorless and needs more R&DThanks for reading Hope your experience was better than mine

Culprits in a word can be described as elegant. The atmosphere and ambiance creates the perfect scenario for dates, anniversary's, and holidays. The menu allows for a stunning dinner or a lowkey snack and drinks. The only reason I can't give them 5 stars is due to the food not living up to my expectations. To be clear the food was delicious but at the price they ask I demand perfection. At the least, the menu can be called creative and innovative however they lost marks due to some hiccups for me. For example the tar tar was an incredible taste and consistency but loses points because the bread was soggy and a little over charred. Similarly the miso cookie was cool to try with a unique flavor profile but the added miso created a saltier dish than we expected. If I could I would rate them a 4.5 with only small complaints about the food. I will greatly encourage many to enjoy the pleasantries of culprit.

Several people have mentioned Culprits to me, so I knew that was next on my list to try. The food is delicious, vibes are high, and they have an amazing mocktail selection. I ordered a steak and the flaming scallops and it was by far one of my favorite meals I've had since moving to OKC .

From the moment we were greeted by the hostess, it was evident that the staff cares about its customers. We were seated at a lovely table by the window. Our server Carrie quickly took our drink order and was so charming throughout the meal. The Phoenix Fire shrimp appetizer was full of plump, juicy, tender shrimp and so fantastic. The Spanish rotini was delicious but the star of the dinner was the Frenched pork chop. Cooked perfectly and so delicious! The entire experience was absolutely wonderful!

This place had a dark and classy kind of vibe to it. I went with my fiancé for a date night and we had different experiences and feelings on this place. I ordered the steak frites and I thought it was pretty good! I rarely and I mean RARELY ever finish my food at a restaurant but tonight I did! My steak was cooked perfectly and I really enjoyed the miso sauce on it and the side of fries. My fiancé ordered the chicken fried ribeye and it was bright pink inside so we think it was RAW?? We let our server know and the brought out a new one and it was okay. My fiancé had lost his appetite after previously eating a bite of raw meat and the breading was soggy and wet on both. He said he really loved the mac and cheese though and it might be one of the best he's ever had. I would rate this place 5 stars based solely on my experience but I can't believe my fiancé was given raw meat so 4 stars it is. i'm

My first visit to Culprits was perfect. From the friendly staff to the drinks and mouth watering meal! I was not disappointed. It is a smaller restaurant so reservations are definitely recommended. I will be returning when I downtown for an event.
