We started with the crispy brussel sprouts which were amazing, & the onion strings which came with a delicious dipping sauce. My husband had the chicken fried steak, which was very good. It was plenty of food to share. I tried the tomato basil soup & it was perfect for a cool Fall night like tonight. The service was good. The restaurant was nice and in my opinion, gave an old saloon feel. We will be back.

I have been wanting to go here for a little while and really wanted to like it, but had concerns with online reviews. When I arrived in the restaurant and in the upstairs speakeasy, it is visually enticing. However, when I sat down, I had an awkward table leg in between my legs the entire meal. I love the antiques, but the round antique tables are not comfortable. My friend put her coat on a chair and the chair was so lightweight that the chair fell back onto the floor. Our waitress was good, but needed some training as she wasn't able to Fill our drinks or bring us everything that we'd asked for. The food was OK but the brussels sprouts were phenomenal. The chicken fried steak was not hand breaded. It appeared to be frozen.We decided to go to the speakeasy and I love the ambience and the seating but the bartender took 20 minutes to get our drinks. Unfortunately, unless the service changes at this establishment and the food is changed I will not be back. I also feel that the food is overpriced for what it is.

Tried this place on a whim today and weren't disappointed. We had the most adorable and helpful server and the food was spot on. Loaded fries for an appetizer was a perfect start. I had a limited menu offering that they should probably keep: buffalo chicken sandwich with house made buffalo sauce from scratch. Apparently all their sauces are made from scratch. The buffalo sauce was the absolute best I've had. Great tangy and spicy combination.My fiancé had the Oklahoma Burger which she loved with homemade ranch to dip our fries in, along with Mac and cheese. Topped it all off with a coffee brownie chip cheesecake which was incredible.I would say hands down one of the better meals I've had locally in some time.My only complaint would be that the menu seemed rather limited for the space they offer. Seemed they could have more offerings in the future according to our waitress.Do not pad this place up!

This is a cute family-friendly spot right off of Route 66 in the heart of downtown Sapulpa. The space is nice, I would describe the decor as sort of country chic. They have a cozy waiting area inside near the front that is very cute as well as a detached patio in the alleyway next to the restaurant, great for groups.We went during the holidays when the road was closed off for the Sapulpa Chutes. It was great being able to walk up to the restaurant from the main street after checking out the festivities. We arrived early so there wasn't a wait, but it did seem to get busier later in the evening. Parking was easy to find just a short block away.During the holidays they offer a limited holiday menu. I had the smash burger and my partner ordered the chicken piccata. Both were good and well prepared. The burger was a tiny bit on the salty side while the carrots that came with the chicken dish were on the sweeter side, similar to candied yams in flavor. However we both througoutly enjoyed our meal and the prices were very reasonable. There is also a separate bar area where they were serving up holiday drinks as well as an ice cream counter with an assortment of different flavors. We saw several families come in just for ice cream. Overall, a good experience and we would certainly visit again if we are in the area.

To start with, it was Christmas Chute time in Sapulpa so the Cookery was slammed. I loved the interior with all the antique wood bars (we counted at least three), the antique tables and chairs, and the paintings hung from floor to ceiling. It's a large space. We put our names on the list and then wandered around the downtown area for a while. (I would highly recommend the Chute to get you in the Christmas spirit.)We were seated as soon as our table was ready. I can't brag enough about the hostess. She was working her behind off. When she saw that our table had not been wiped down, she immediately put us somewhere that was ready. We observed her bussing tables and seating people and being on the move constantly. We actually tipped HER on the way out.Otherwise, everything else was subpar. I had one of the worst cocktails I've ever had here. It was supposed to have pomegranate foam on it but I think it was egg foam. No sweetness at all. I didn't finish it. We asked for water from the start and all we got was excuses from the waitress. We never got water. At. All.We both ordered the smash burgers. They came out with the top bun totally cold and cheese was barely melted. When we ordered, the waitress had reiterated that the condiments came on the side if that was ok. When they arrived, we had no ketchup. We asked for it all and finally after about 10 minutes, the condiments came out. The table next to us had the same issue and waited longer. She finally asked for a refire. Would I try this again. Yes. I will give them another chance. Just probably not during the holiday season. Sad face.

I got the chicken fried steak and it was very...ok. The problem is they either need to lower their food prices or raise the bar on the quality of the food. Service was fine. I paid $27 for a meal that I could get at any diner for half that, so I expected more.

The food was delicious and the service was great. The atmosphere is incredible. Wonderful experience!

Spoke to the general manager about the poor food and service we received. She made excuses it was due to busy season. Then she offered a gift card on her as a way to prove they are worthy of a good review. That was two months ago. Never heard from her again.

A absolutely stunning ambiance in the restaurant and speakeasy. You can get each other talk too unlike some restaurants. We have really enjoyed their soups, corn nuggets, Brussels sprouts, maple glazed carrots, and mixed drinks. The service in the restaurant was great. The service in the speakeasy was slow but I think the young man was new to waiting tables.
