Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Tulsa, OK

I see all the terrible reviews about this hotel but luckily didn't see them before we stayed there. Our stay wasn't bad at all. It was a convenient location for us, although not in a great neighborhood. Check in and check out were simple enough. Our room wasn't anything special, but our room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the amenities were sufficient. The price was decent. I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here again, but we really had zero issues while there.

Unbelievable! The hotel is located in a rough neighborhood. I found a bed bug on my bed and brought it to the front desk. Tried a couple times to discuss the situation with the manager but she was out of the building. After waiting 2 hours I checked out. There were 2 sister who where guests fighting and dropping F bombs in the lobby and a young man walking around the lobby with a military survival knife strapped to his leg. This place is horrible

Booked hotel originally because they have a pool but after getting there the pool was closed and it was Memorial weekend which was a huge disappointment for my visiting grandson. Room was decent but considering the amount we paid I would have liked to have had a room that did not have ant issues. We brought it to the person on duties attention that morning and she did not seem the least bit concerned. The bed was okay but pillows could definitely use a new purchase or recommend you bring your own. Hotel is not located near a great selection of quick meal but I have stayed in worse. If your staying for the amentias or location I would consider you look around before hand.

This hotel is a total disappointment. From the slow check in process (hotel was prepaid), to the dirty room (French fries on the floor). No breakfast as advertised. Room was not made up when we returned at 6:30 pm. Desk attendant stated the maid put us down as "no service". Asked for towels and was told they only had one bath mat. It would be over 2 hours before we could get fresh towels. Our travel party had the same experience with their room. In my opinion...Find another hotel.

StaffThe staff so far is pretty nice. LocationIt's located in the north side of town. The building is quite old looking and the staff claims the building was one of the first built in 1996. Even though they claim it's location and age are the reason they have no spa, or gym, or any of the common things found at other country inn and suites. This place is terrible.AmenitiesNot many. They do have a pool. But it's outside. There is no spa/hot tub. No health club or gym.The room key didn't work 4 times. They had to wipe it completely and redo it, but it finally worked.The WiFi is supposed to be asking for a password, but none of my tech was asked for one. I was allowed to browse freely.OverallNot impressed. The WiFi is very very slow. The furniture is in dire need of updating. The bed is EXTREMELY uncomfortable. Neither of us could sleep. It doesn't seem that management cares about anything other than getting paid. Sad. Because this place lowers the quality of the country inn name across the board. MilitarySorta. But the manger here didn't give me one. Said discount rate is 15% off.

I am beyond disappointed! This place is absolutely disgusting and the manager is horrible! I arrived and no one was at the front it was all dark and soo hot in the lobby, finally someone came out to check us in, he said the morning shift forgot to turn on the air. We went to the room and pulled back the sheets as I always do to ensure they were changed and the was black fuzzy pieces of something, hair and stains so I called and requested someone to come change the sheets and was told housekeepers are gone for the day but I can take them off myself and he will switch me with new ones. The pillows were filthy, the floor hadn't been vacuumed in any of the corners, the walls had marks all over them it was just far from clean. Anyway so then we opened the curtain to find that the window was shattered and open to the outside! Obviously we're not staying in that room so we asked to be moved, when telling about the window he was not surprised and acted like he already knew about it, what just hoping I wouldn't open the curtain???? Second room smelled just as bad as the first one, seemed a bit cleaner other than the huge crack in the ceiling but it was like 90 degrees in there, turned AC on and waited over 20 minutes and it wasn't even beginning to cool down, I again looked at sheets and they were stained also and there were used bandaids and wrappers in the bottom of the trash can. At this point I just felt dirty and uncomfortable to stay there, it was frustrating and I was sweating I just couldn't. I was refused a refund and pretty much called a liar as the manager tells me he just checked my room and the AC worked fine ( of course nothing about the cleanliness mattered to him) why would I lie about that!?! I have photos of the room I'm obviously not making this up, I ended up leaving and had to pay for a different hotel and no refund!! Absolutely disgusting place, customer service, hospitality, housekeeping, and rooms! Don't stay here!!!

After a 10 hour drive from Minneapolis the least you can ask for is hot shower in the morning. That's not happening here. Water in the sink was immediately hot shower ran for 45 minutes and never got hot. Breakfast was disappointing at best. Opening at 7:00 they were out of eggs by 7:15. Don't waste your time of money!

I wish I had read the reviews on this hotel before booking. Pros: Check in went smoothly. Lobby was small but comfortable. Our room was on the ground floor. It was small but the beds were ok. The desk clerk arranged for transportation to the airport, which was nice. Cons: I'm not from Tulsa but I had the impression that this hotel wasn't in the best part of town. No restaurants anywhere near that I could see. Front desk clerks definitely could have been friendlier. Breakfast was on the low end for hotel breakfasts - nothing special. The bathroom was in need of "handyman" attention. Bottom line: I would not stay here again and would not recommend it.

We were in town for a Race track event. Check in went well, but when we got to our room the jacuzzi tub didnt work. When we called the front desk they upgraded our room. Room was clean, jacuzzi tub worked, bed was comfortable and had plenty of hot water. Parking could be difficult with certain vehicles but for us was not a problem for us. I do think the prices were a bit steep for the value and location considering there arent many/any restaurants close.The Front desk clerk at check in was super helpful and was determined to give us a good room and good stay- she gets 5 stars!

I strongly urge you NOT to stay at the Country Inn and Suites on Garnett in Tulsa, OK. Despite the amenities listed on their website, they do not have a hot breakfast--only a "to-go" bag with a granola bar, fruit and water. Nor is their outdoor pool available, since it has a tarp covering it. Even worse, in the morning we discovered bed bugs in both beds, and my daughter had such a bad reaction to the insect bites several days later that medical intervention was required. Fortunately she always has an Epi Pen available. I wrote to both Corporate and the motel itself and both sent boilerplate responses which were disappointing. If you plan to stay at a motel or hotel in Tulsa, there are better options.
