Cosmic Castle

This place was so cute.. such a hidden gem.It seems like it would be a fun place to hang out as a kid, or even with some overgrown childlike adults .My husband & I are huge gamers so we definitely enjoyed the arcade atmosphere.The food was great for it being more of an arcade place.Sweet potato fries & ranch were AMAZING!

It's a lazy Saturday afternoon and we happen to be in Parsons. We decided to give the Cosmic Castle a shot. It is a small town sandwich and ice cream shop trying to make a go of it. The food was surprisingly good. H got the cowboy burger. I got the pizza panini. We also got the chili fries. I am very please with the food. H is a burger connoisseur and she plowed through. The BBQ sauce on the cowboy burger was very good. The service was great too. I suspect the waitress was also the cook. The panini is well cooked and the marinara is good. I suspect it's from a can, but I'm in Parsons. The chili fries had a nice taste. The articles on the wall are from 1962, celebrating the start of the space age. The video games are okay. It's not Dave and Busters, but we're in Parson. The whole downtown is quaint and this area needs some love. Help America be America and support places like this.

Starbucks...watch out!! This place makes a mean, decadent, mocha latte like no other! I say that in all honesty. I did not expect to get anything special here at Cosmic...the surroundings is quite spooky...A coffin to showcase the pool room...nostalgic video games inside what seems like a carved out dungeon in the back...I did sneak back there to see if I could still maintain a high score on PAC Man, and centipede...That was sweet fun, y'all!I needed "something" to give me a mental boost, a break, a happy let's go-again moment after spending a couple hours at the Kids Museum. Cosmo's offers sandwiches, hot dogs, nachos, sundaes, and gourmet coffee...all the good stuff! I opted for something sweet, so did my daughter. She enjoyed the chocolate ice cream. I ordered the Macadamia Nut Mocha Latte and their Salted Caramel cookie....both were the best I've ever had. So here it is...the place that had that special something to kick start me up again. Sugar...the way it's meant to be;)

The service is great, everyone there has been friendly, The food I've had is pretty delicious too. Pretty unique place to hang out and play card games like Magic The Gathering.

This is not the place to stop and eat!! Immediately entering the building there was an unusual smell and the restroom also was not in good condition. We ordered our burgers and fries, the burgers were drenched in sauce and the tots/waffles fries had an odd taste to them. Upon leavening when trying to receive service the "waiter" was in a back room standing in the supplies closet. Then when trying to refill our drinks the person behind the counter, after receiving nothing good, wanted us to pay a specific charge per drink even though the menu says "free refills."

Cosmic Castle is such a unique find in Parsons, KS! Delicious Sandwiches and Milk Shakes. My personal favorite is the Vanilla Java shake- DEVINE! They have also recently added burgers to their menu. You can tell they are fresh and made with love and high quality ingredients. We had one Cheese Burger, one Jr. Cheese Burger, and two small fries.. IT ONLY COST $12, and we left feeling more than satisfied. With friendly faces and arcade games to pass the time, you definitely don't want to pass this place up.

Really cute location with eclectic arcade games and pinball. There is a pool table in front and a half second story area with tables for role plate if board games in back. Lots of sandwiches of their own creation. Also Nathan's hotdogs with homemade toppings. Finish off your post school excursion with a hand dipped ice cream or shake.

It was a clean unique place to eat. They have a large dessert selection which we did not partake in but looked very good. The meal was decent. I had the chicken taco salad and the wife had the ham and cheese. Everything tasted like it should and I was entertained by the ambience. If you have kids, bring a pocket full of quarters and they will be entertained.

We were driving through Parsons and wanted to eat at a locally owned restaurant. My mom and I love a good panini sandwich so we were thrilled when we saw their menu options. I ordered the Southwest Chicken and my Mom ordered the BLT both with plain chips. The sandwiches were out of this world delicious. Perfect crisp panini! We only had a few thoughts but didn't see them as negative. My mom would've preferred a bit more bacon and we both didn't care for the overall taste of the plain chips but they were edible. We can't wait to drive through town again and try a new sandwich.

All the reviews were 5 stars and we were driving through Kansas so we stopped. All the reviewers must be friends with the owner because this place was gross. Dirty and run down, the lady that took our order was rude. We got our food and got back on the road, I took one bite of my sandwich and threw it away.
