The food was so yummy! Best burger I have had in a long time. But oh the desserts.....I had the coconut cream pie and hubby had the chocolate. The crust was flaky and buttery and the filling was homemade deliciousness. They had so many items to choose from so I will be back to try them all! The service was top notch and so hospitable. Great experience

Burgers, pastries, soups all good comfort food!Coleman's essentially a very good take out diner and pastry shop! Their seating is so limited and the restaurant is so popular that scoring a place to eat inside is difficult. We were there at 2pm. The nine or so tightly packed tables in the small dining area were filled. Folks were in line waiting either for a table or their to-go order. We came back 30 minutes later and were able to get a table.They have been around for a long time! This restaurant used to be a very prominent restaurant in Okmulgee, located on Highway 75. Their popularity continues, just in a different location. In addition to their best burgers in Okmulgee; their menu includes daily specials of soups, Chicken fried steak, chicken strips and other typical diner type offerings. The pasty display case is packed with their fresh baked pastries and pies. My wife wanted a good old fashioned hamburger today, so we went to Coleman's. We stuck with the basics, a ¼ lb. regular cheese burger, a 1/2 lb. hamburger supreme and their fresh homemade onion rings. Nothing disappointing about this meal.The folks that work here are just super friendly nice people. If you are lucky enough to get a table you will enjoy the visit! The down side of this place is the size of the dining area. It is small. If you go there at noon be prepared to wait for a table or eat in your car.Be sure to take a slice of pie or a pastry home with you.

Okay this is the best food I've ever had in Okmulgee. We got a cheeseburger with incredible flavored juicy meat and delicious fresh tomatoes. The onion rings weren't covered in grease at all and had a great crunch and good seasoning as well. The cherry limeade was homemade and the water tasted good and not from the tap like most restaurants The ginger bread cookies are soft and melt in your mouth. Worth every penny! The chocolate pie was okay, pretty good.Only negatives here:The music was overly loud making it hard to hear whoever you're with at the table (and ordering) and the ordering where they'll help you across the table but you have to walk in front of other customers ordering. A little weird but not a deal breaker.First time here and I'm definitely bringing my mother here tomorrow. Everyone should try this place, there's a reason it's 5 stars!

We were driving down 75 thinking about lunch when we saw a billboard for this restaurant. I quickly checked the yelp reviews and we were on our way. We lucked out because someone pulled out of a parking spot just as we arrived and there was an empty table right inside the door. We both ordered cheeseburgers and we ordered an order of onion rings to share. The waitress came back to tell us they had just ran out of onion rings so we ordered fried okra, instead. The food arrived in Styrofoam containers and she also brought paper plates. We quickly dug into the burgers and they were very good! We liked the okra, too. For dessert, my husband had one of his favorite pies, Coconut cream. He enjoyed it. I got a couple of cookies. I ate one and save one for later. They were baked just how I liked them. If we are ever in the area again, we will be sure to return.

So much more than a bakery, Coleman's is a great lunch or dinner destination! My friends and I live in Broken Arrow and Sapulpa, but made the drive to meet our other friend that lives in Okmulgee and we were craving Coleman's. It really is not even an hour from Tulsa, so worth the trip! Get there early to beat the crowd. There is not much room to dine. We got there before 11 am and were fine. I had a cheeseburger, onion rings and a tea. I didn't realize the hamburger patties were so thin, I will get a double next time! It was so delicious though. And the onion rings are hand cut daily, nice and thin, the best! I tasted the fries, those are great too! For dessert my friend and I split the Italian cream cake, it was really good, love the icing! My other friend had the Coleman's cookie-had chocolate chips, pecans and oatmeal in it. Yum! Love the hometown feel. Coleman's is family owned and they truly care about their food and their customers. It was the perfect summer field trip! After that we went grocery shopping at MIss Mary's Market. Come spend the afternoon in Okmulgee, you will not be disappointed!

An Okmulgee landmark. A true hole in the wall because it is off the Main Street. Limited seating so we always do takeout. Get the #4 burger. Get a pie to go because these are your grandmother's pies.

Nice! Classic cheesy onion burger. Fast friendly service. Not too expensive. Will be back.

Honestly one of the worst burgers I've ever had. I'll give them another chance but the patty was so thin and it stayed on the grill to long to the point of being burnt.
