I devoured two of these before I realized I hadn't gotten a picture yet. The #1 chili dog with onions, and cheese.

Oh baby, I had Coit's again for the first time since the brick and mortar store and it's *exactly* the way I remember. I cried when they shut down the location on 39th Street and then was extra sad to see it leveled. I grew up going to car shows at Coit's and I have such deep nostalgia for it. However, besides the nostalgia, it really genuinely is the best chili dog and best root beer float ever. Can't wait to have it again. It would be super cool if they could somehow revisit their old location on 63rd someday.

This place was nostalgic to me, when I was a kid my uncle use to bring me here for the ice cream root beer and hotdogs. I was sad when they shut down the restaurant but then heard they got a food truck going which excited me greatly. The service was great as usual and the food is still really good as I remembered. The bun was soft and the chili and hotdog just partied in my mouth. It also could be because this place takes me back to when I was a kid.

The worlds very best coney! I have been eating these hot dog chilling dogs for more than 69 years back in the day it was Weber's root beer and has been fantastic over many many years! I sure miss the biscuits and gravy they used to sell. Or the ham sandwich Mrs. Can't forget about the Root beer sodas!

Fifty plus years ago I took my future wife to the Coit's drive in restaurant on south Western ave. I still love her, and I still love the number one chili dog. Though the restaurant /rootbeer stand had several locations in the metro area our favorite was that original location on 25th and south Western. Coit's fell on hard times in the early 2010's with the last drive in closing in 2012. Coit's still lives in the form of a food truck that visits areas all around Oklahoma city every week. Now days their menu is limited to the chili dog, (in two forms the #1with onions, & the #2 without onions) and a frito chili pie. I can't get enough of the #1 chili dog. For a menu item that's been around since 1954 it's for my money still the best chili dog bar none. I've eaten chili dogs coast to coast and always use Coit's as the bench mark to judge all others against. People line up no matter where the Coit's truck sets up. Rain or shine, cold or hot, it's impressive that Coit's fan base are so dedicated to this dog. Go on Google or Facebook, and check where the truck (actually a trailer pulled behind a truck) will be this week. A chili dog that's been around for 58 years has to have a reason for it's legion of dedicated fans. Best Damm chili dog on the planet. By the way try out their rootbeer, delicious.

I never thought I could fall in love with a hot dog the way I did this past summer. My husband was away on business so I took the kids to a local farmers market where Coit's happened to be. So I ordered a dog for myself and a dog for the kiddos. Wow!! The hotdog just melted in my mouth!! I got mustard and onions and the kids had the chili dog. I loved mine and the kids loved theirs. I did sample the kids, hotdog and felt the chili was good but not excellent. I felt it was lacking something. We also sampled their root beer. I like my root beer with a little kick. This was a sweeter root beer, but it was delicious. I recommend getting the root beer the staff has always been polite and helpful. The pricing is great as well. All and all we will return. I was finally able to take my husband to the truck in October and he enjoyed it as well.

Classic OKC root beer/hot dog stand now in food truck form. Sampled a few of their menu items at Riverwind's Beats & Bites and a second time at Stockyards Stampede. I was impressed! First, their famous root beer of course. It was pretty good! And I'm not usually a root beer fan. My husband the root beer enthusiast describes it as similar to Barq's bite but sweeter. I think it's a little too sweet. Their many fans buy it by the gallon. Had it with their Frito Pie, a big one! And at only 4 bucks one of the better values around. They offer many toppings free of charge, so naturally we loaded it, all in. It was like part coney, part Southwest (though sour cream was left off by accident, jalapenos were on the side), all over corn chips. It was sinfully good! Their chili is hot dog style, no beans.. 'sauce' as some call it, tasted homemade, definitely full flavor.I took off a star because they can get distracted here, don't communicate so well. Girl taking our order refused to acknowledge what "with everything" meant. A stickler, she made me name each and every topping, and STILL forgot my sour cream. Grrr ;)Looking forward to trying more of their menu.

Wow, how did I just now discover that this Okie classic lives on in food truck form? Such a treat to stumble upon it today, and to once again taste some of the delights of my childhood. The root beer is unparalleled and their Frito chili pie is a perfect lunch. Can have a line, but don't be deterred, they manage to serve folks fast.

Nice looking truck, nice staff, food was the short fall. Best on the truck was the root beer, hot dogs and chili not so much. Food did come out pretty fast and not accurate. I would not recommend them on food, just root beer.
