My son bought me a brand new watch from deployment. The watchband was too big and I called CNS to get a approximate quote for watch band link removal. The lady that I spoke with said it was $10 per link. I have never heard such a crazy amount a price to take out a link that takes one second. So, instead my son ordered a watch repair kit from Amazon

I purchased a wooden watch for my husband online as a gift, and we needed to have a few links taken out. They were not happy about being presented with a watch made of wood. They gave us a disclaimer and told us that, if they broke it, they wouldn't be responsible for replacing the watch. I was hesitant after his speech, so we asked a bunch of questions. He said wooded watches rarely break and that he could get it done in 20 minutes.Luckily, they did not break the watch. Instead, the repair man just complained again about wooden watches when we came and picked it up. Dude. If you don't like wooden watches, just don't fix them. Or in the alternative, quit with the weird attitude and complaining about something your company includes as a service. The good news is that this place is very fast and affordable.

The service was fine initially. Dropped off the bracelet and discussed the work of taking extra stones out of the tennis and making earrings from the extra stones. Somehow, we got to the subject of is the diamonds real. So i suggested that she test them. She said, "I wasn't expecting that." Finish up, walked out and realized I had another question returned, and they are huddled around the bracelet testing it more. I said, "Is there a problem. The other service lady said oh we think they are lab stones." Then called back and raised the price for the work quoted. So is it just me, or do you question all the jewelry/stones you get from your clients. Not everyone with brown skin and braids are broke.Side note: Work was fast and acceptable but couldn't match metal color when resizing.

I took a watch to them to get it fixed for someone's birthday. All I wanted was a cleaning: rubbing out scratches, stains, etc. I got it back the next day and it was cleaned well, however it started doing something new. Which was it started fogging underneath the crystal, with lots of moisture. I took it back and they said they would get rid of the moisture, so I got it the next day and then it had moisture again soon after. I was busy so I couldn't return and now the watch had rusted and stopped working because of the moisture. So the person whom the watch belonged to went there to ask what they did to mess up the watch. They were rude and unprofessional. These people are scammers, they want you to get a service and then they don't actually fix the root of the problem, so you have to return constantly for the problem that they won't fix and instead they provide a temporary fix for. Worst watch repair in the state, don't be fooled into going there because they're in Penn Square Mall. Go somewhere better and pay more if need be, you'll thank yourself later for not having to deal with people like this.

I went to the Penn Square Mall location for a servicing and cleaning on my Seiko Automatic 7009-8029-P. The servicewoman I spoke to said it would be ready in six weeks time. So I waited, and when I picked up my watch there was some residue and dust underneath the crystal, all sides of the case were polished, despite the top and back being originally "rough" by design. The case back was also partially screwed on, to the point where I could run the edge of my thumbnail underneath without issue. The service people either wouldn't or couldn't explain to me how they went about servicing my watch when asked.Fortunately they did do the servicing I had asked for and my watch runs well. They polished and buffed the crystal as best they could, although it did have a deep scratch from the previous owner and that couldn't be helped without replacing the crystal. And also replaced the gasket on the watch back. For that I am thankful to them. I had them clean out the crystal and properly screw down the watch back, which took another week or two, covered by a service warranty. When retrieving my watch I found they had simply flipped the crystal 180 degrees and didn't tell me they couldn't remove the residue (I assume it was rust or grime). Also the watch dial had been faded. I assume they tried to recharge the lume, which again I did not ask them to do. I would have preferred if they had explained what they do while servicing a watch, and specifically what each service provides. No surprise servicing like the polishing of the case, or the light-based over charging of the dial lume.

I took an antique Longines watch to them for polishing the crystal. When I got it back it was fogging so I took it back and got it back again and it was still fogging which never did prior to taking it to them. Third time when I went and asked them how did they clean, polish and dried it. I was told the lady told me simply wiping off the moisture, also another guy stepped in conversation and said we don't have to explain the drying process to you. I told them the proper way is to use low temperature oven and desiccator while cooling. Last my watch developed rust and the knob got stuck while trying to pull to adjust the time it brook. They are not masters and charging very high price for missing up the watches.
