First time trying this place and it was delicious!!! That smoke chicken was everything! I got mashed potatoes/gravey, and green beans. And it also comes on a bed of rice. It was so good. And the portions are very generous (minus the salad). The ONLY draw back was that tiny ass salad was like $9. I ordered delivery and didn't know it would be soooo small. Like really a SMALL take out container? Most salads at that price point are the bigger containers. But anyway the food was still good. Next time I know not to order a salad that's for sure

Great friendly lady at the order counter, but the gyros is not great. The pita wasn't grilled enough if it was at all. The gyros flavor was bland and possibly retreated from being frozen. The tots were warm and crunchy though.

I've eaten at Christy's more times than I can count, having worked in the area for 19 years. That said, the most recent several years, I've been a work-from-homer, so Christy's hasn't been on my beaten path.As it happened the other day, I actually had to schlep myself into the office (gasp) for a face to face meeting (even bigger gasp), which lasted all of 30 minutes.Seeing how it was lunch time (actually about 2pm) and I was feeling a mite peckish (if you know what that is, you might be a redneck, as the saying goes), I bopped over to Christy's for some reminiscing and a little food.On that day, I opted for the taco salad, which I remember as being pretty freakin good.It still is.Over the years, I've had most of their subs, several dozen phillies, a ton of taco salads and a veritable barrel full of chili and spaghetti. Not one time, never, ever did I come away unhappy with a meal. And if you've read any of my reviews, you're probably saying "No way... you're the most hard to please SOB on Yelp!"Again... never, not once was I unhappy with a meal at Christy's.As for the place, it's in a strip mall at Pine and North Mingo, so don't go expecting fine dining, or a cozy intimate ambience. The place caters to the airport/AA/blue color manufacturing places in the area, and they do it right. If you're looking for solid, unpretentious, served on styrofoam with plastic utensils, knock your socks off diner food.... Christy's is the place.

We had been to our storage and were hot, tired & hungry. We pulled on into Christys BBQ for a fast & delicious dinner.The lady behind the counter was quick to walk my husband through their menu. He was a first timer, pretty sure he is gonna be a "second & third timer too.I got a kids meal and my husband got 3 meat/2 side specials.The BBQ was on point! Go, grab it, and get you some. My goodness it's a delicious.

Quick and cheap. It's like walking back in time to the 1970's when it comes to decor. But the food is good and it's definitely family style. Hit it up for lunch.

Great food and service at a good price. The lady who prepared my food was fast and the food was nice and hot. They also have a soda fountain. I strongly recommend this place if you are in the area. I do wish they accepted Bitcoin though.

Terrible experience as a first timer. Came with a group of four, staff was not only unfriendly, but rude. The place wasn't filthy, but it definitely was t clean. I ordered a gyro and it was a piece of pita bread layer on top of the lamb with a side of sauce. Nothing was assembled and there was nothing else in the gyro besides meat. If you want to feel like a burden eating fatty food, head to Christy's.

Got sick for 3 days from something that was apparently spoiled, left out or otherwise not good. I couldn't hold anything down for 3 days. I won't try again. That was brutal.

GREAT FOOD!First time there we went in and customer service was great. Food was delicious and the wait time was fast. So much options to choose from. I would recommend it to any one when it comes to barbecue.
