Choctaw Casinos & Resorts - Pocola

The best part of Choctaw is the poker room. They primarily have 1/2 poker games where the small blind is $1 and the big blind is $2. The safe is friendly. The rake is $5 for big pots (over about $50). I don't know where that stands compared to other casinos, but it seems a little high. They have bonuses (ex. pay outs for 4 of a kind or better), but they change regularly and seemingly without warning. The staff in the poker room is professional, honest, kind to the players, and fun.Choctaw allows smoking which is the low light of the place. Don't wear nice clothes when going as they will fill with smoke. I get it, its a casino, but it would be much better without the smoke.

I stayed here for 2 nights as last time I only stayed here for one night and just got to experience only 5 hours of gaming. This time I got to spend a least more time on the slots, but taking more breaks in between. My first night was brutal, but I did not play much as I was doing really terrible at the other Choctaw locations so I decided to enjoy the room. They ended up giving me the Miko Suite which is their top their room and I was really impressed. Reminded me of the Rose Suite back at Sam's Town. I wish the suite did have soda as they do provide can soda at the other locations. On the weekdays, they do have a deal if you get 10 points you get a free burger at Trophy's and a lot of people come here for the lunch time, but I ended up getting the burger really quick like in 15 minutes as I am sure they are premade some. Fries were terrible though, but only eating the burger.Gaming wise, I did get a handpay here at their bingo slot. But I also had some good wins here. I did not come home a loser at this casino throughout my three days of gaming. They have a good selection of volatile to non ones. Their high limit gaming did not change much after my 6 months of not coming here, but it is okay though. I ended up this time lasting much longer than last time as I looked at my tax statement and it said I lost $1,800 here on my 1 night stay here.They do and kept the Panda game which I like, but it was not hitting for me and the pandas were not dancing much for me those days I was there. Overall, they do have more of the newer games, while keeping the older ones. I tend not to play the games I lost a lot of money on the last time I was here. I ate at the 7 ponies restaurant which was not too bad. Overall, I had a fun time here and would come back here.

Better than expected for a Bar & Grill located inside a casino. I opted for the Shrimp and Steak Fried Rice and was pleasantly surprised at the sheer volume of the dish when it arrived. I'm not usually one for carrying home a doggy bag, but in this case I didn't have a choice. Easily enough for two meals, the steak and shrimp were cooked to perfection with my only complaint being the overly greasy rice. Still, the taste satisfied and the fried egg resting atop the Asian mountain of deliciousness was a nice signature touch I'd not seen before. The atmosphere was so calm and relaxed, the service so friendly and expedient, I almost didn't even notice the sometimes overbearing sounds of the casino just a few steps away. I was also surprised at the menu pricing. Granted, our food was comped, but I still took note of the cost of each entree. My wife and I could have ate cheaper here than at your average McDonald's. Overall, I was genuinely impressed with the place and only took away one star for the excessive greasiness of the rice and the slight nosiness of the casino. I know that can't necessarily be helped but it was somewhat hard to ignore. Worth stopping in if you're already playing the slots.

Hotel Front desk on point. Had us pre-checked in so we just picked up our key when we arrived.If you eat at the Seven Ponies restaurant, I highly recommend the brussel sprouts. They are the best I've ever had.

Welcoming staff at the hotel, rooms are spacious, has 43 ATV, mini fridge and microwave, we had 2 beds and the beds are worn out, hurt our backs but decent stay. The casino staff is nice and the security is respectful, has plenty of slots and some tables, slots don't hit but we don't gamble much either so that might've hampered our ability to win. The Buffett food was okay, it was Wednesday so it was Mexican night, it was edible but nothing to be enthusiastic about it. We had some hiccups; first at the Trophy's it clearly states online that imports are $3.75 yet they tried charging us $4.25, said we was wrong and the website is wrong, the male and female was hesitant to pay attention to us sitting at the bar, clearly an issue that needs addressing. Second issue is you can't bring any alcohol beverages into the hotel, SMH, just purchased at the store and was unopened, we should've been advised of this. We won't return and wouldn't recommend.

We decided to come to this casino to have some fun what a joke that was. After 2am we are playing slots and they were cleaning out the machines. The guy looks at me and says I need to sit down. I said I don't wanna sit down, after arguing with him I said let's go. So as soon as I walked outside we noticed security following us out to our car. 5 mins later we get pulled over and the local police came and searched the car and myself and my girlfriend. The reason they said is well this is were all the druggies hang out. So I guess they like to profile people, I told them I believe they need to shut this casino down. After 30 minutes of interaction they let us go. I'll never ever will step foot on another Oklahoma casino. The slots were so tight, blackjack is rigged. Save your money your not going to win here. They will look at ya like your a druggie for playing past midnight

We frequent the Choctaw Casino Sunday March 20 we were there and my husband went to the cashier to write a check (he is an Onyx member) the cashier was in training and she charged him the fee and the person training caught the mistake. They had him to write another check and they would void the first transaction, then they told him to come back to the cage in 2 hours and it would be resolved. When he returned 2 hours later it wasn't resolved, still showed as a deduction from the account. He ask for someone with authority, the cage manager showed up and tried to resolve it explaining the policy of the casino, then I ask for someone with more authority and the MOD, Mr. Lape came Mr. Harrell tried to explain the circumstances and Mr. Late called him a liar. He said the people behind the counter didn't tell him to come back in 2 hours. The MOD acted in a very unprofessional manner. I ended up having to call my bank and dispute the charge. Something that should have been simple caused a big problem . It is apparent from the manners how this was handled that this agency has no respect for its clients.

First understand before you read this I am probably the closest thing to a professional gambler. You will see around here. I've come here three times now and spent well over $1000 and have never won anything. These slots are so tight. The few wins you do get several hundred dollars apart, I've never seen anybody win any money here. I can go to any other casino in Oklahoma and do just fine but every time I come here I lose and so does everybody that comes with me and everybody around me so I'm pretty sure they've got these slots rigged super tight it's not worth what free food credits they give you to come here, literally anywhere else

We stayed last night... great room, nice price... room was clean and included a microwave, coffee maker, 2 bottles of water and a refrigerator... if you are passing thru, and looking for a place to stay, this is your place.. Restaurant options are decent. I had a nice patty melt. The locals say the breakfast is wonderful.

I have been waiting 8 years to visit this casino and I must say I was extremely disappointed, my friends and I got there at 2:30 A.MTo my surprise you couldn't get a drink because the bars are closed at 2 o'clock, I don't drink much however I wanted at least one drink and I wanted to play Texas holdem but no tables were open on a Friday night, I thought this was a Indian casino and all the other ones I've ever been to waited on you extremely well, not one working person smiled at any of us, by the time I found a $1.00 slot machine they were roped off and closed, needless to say I won't ever be going back, I believe the white man has healed the Indians down long enough, honestly just think about how much more money you could have coming in that would make your lives so much better, Fight for your rights to run your business on your land, god I hope it's your land but if not you should sale and fight to put it on your property. Then be free to run it properly and watch the money roll in!!
