China Wok

Was craving Chinese on Sunday, but our normal go-to place is closed on Sundays. We have tried coming to China Wok before, but every time, the owners were gone on a month long vacation. Finally got the chance to give it a try and was very happy with the food. The key is to not come in a hurry. There were 3 workers in the whole place so food was slow getting out to you. I ordered the general chicken. It had a slight heat to it, but I really wish someone would actually make their general spicy. It also had some sweetness but not overly sweet. Chicken was tender and all white meat. The egg roll was delicious. It's probably the best egg roll I have eaten. My son got the sesame chicken with crab Rangoon. The sesame chicken was tender, juicy, and hot. Crab Rangoon was ok but typical more sweetness and cream cheese than crab meat. We will definitely be back.

The restaurant itself is not much to look at but the food is unexpectedly awesome. Food is fresh and full of flavor! The food came out fast and is reasonably priced. Try the crab Rangoon. A must.

It seems they had WAY MORE customers than they had employees. Every table (actually every table) was full of plates covered in old food. The plates had clearly been sitting there for a while.As more people came in--and there were already about five people in front of us, there were no open tables. Some desperate customers started bussing the tables themselves. Call me a pretentious city dweller, but that's totally unacceptable. I definitely don't pay someone for food and to clean all the tables in a dining room.The food itself was tasty.

We were pleasantly impressed as we were looking for a Chinese place open on a Sunday. Food was fresh, tender meat and tasty. We had sesame chicken and beef and broccoli combos as well as egg drop soup. They give plenty of sweet and sour sauce, too! Food is made fresh and picked up in their drive through 20 minutes later. Perfect! Second time we are it a little later. That might be why it wasn't as perfectly tender. They were out of pork. Will try again for sure.

Food is very solid! In fact food would get 4.5 stars. Service is really where China Wok lacks. I have NEVER been served in anything less than 30 minutes no matter if we eat in store or get it to go! I honestly don't understand how they can be this slow every single time. They NEED to figure out how to increase production and minimize the wait, because it's absolutely ridiculous! I truly can't comprehend how a business can be this slow with a drive up window, it's just mind boggling...

Just average to below average food. The General's Chicken was just okay, crab ragoons were soggy, rice and hot and sour soup were not good at all.

The lights were out in the whole parking lot but their open sign was on. Went through the drive through and I thought it took a long time. Got back to eat and they gave me chow mein instead of lo mein and the fried rice was over cooked. I did like there were water chestnuts in the chow mein. Even tho that is not what I ordered it did have good flavor. Didn't eat it all because I don't like crunchy noodles and giant hunks of onion. Not sure I'd eat here again.
