China Star Chinese Buffet

I would say you get what you pay for. the buffet is not huge but good. the staff is always friendly and it's simple. Simple inside. Nice seating. The decor is traditional

They are barely a two star for lunch. The dinner buffet is a joke. It's only 5:15pm and they told me no more food is gonna be added. The sign says they are open till 9pm. All of the food on this buffet is what ever was left over from lunch. Do NOT ever come here for supper. They should shut the doors at 2pm. Most of the entries are gone and they are still making me pay full price. I will never eat here again. A very bad experience. I only hope I don't get sick tonight. Go anywhere but here. The Chinese restaurant in Prattville is so much better. I am really regretting coming here.

So I must say I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I found it by searching chinese buffets on my route through my gps and really wasnt expecting much. I drive-through Tulsa quite a bit and I like that Ican stop here real quick and get back on the road. The food was pretty good. They had a nice selection of your standard fare with everthing pretty fresh. When it comes to Chinese food not bad is a good thing because when chinese food is bad its REALLY bad. I will probably be stopping here more often now that I have found it. Like I said nothing to write home about but worth the stop. The price was good too. I had a lunch buffet with a water and it came to $8.70.

This is our favorite Chinese buffet restaurant to go to in the area! The restaurant is kept clean and tidy. The staff were all friendly, would even take the time to stop and talk to our toddler and immediately get him new silverware when his fell in the floor. They were also quick to refill our drinks. The buffet is well stocked, nothing ever looked empty. Even though the restaurant was busy. There is also a wide variety of foods. They have the typical foods you would see on a Chinese buffet plus sushi, two dessert bars, and ice cream.

Horrible experience. MY GOOD WAS RAW if I could give 0 I would. Horrible customer service they argued that even though my food was raw I still had to pay. Very nasty ugly store

This place is outrageous there food was undercooked made my friend throw up enormous amount of times at the restaurant and at home . The workers are so rude was screaming laughing pointing at us very unprofessional and very rude . I would not recommend going here AT ALL !

My friends and I went to grab a bite to eat. I've been here before and had no complaints. Put this time the food was AWFUL. Made me puke and feel light headed. When i went up to the front to pay i told them i wasnt paying 30 dollars for two people who did not eat ANYTHING. I offered to pay half. The first bites we took we spit out they were yelling laughing and pointing at us. DONT EAT HERE!! this place made my friend sick for DAYS. And all they had to say was that we were too broke to pay(we payed the bill) calling us broke white people wow.

Walked in and walked right back out. Had cockroaches crawling on the sushi on the food bar. Told the chef and said "oh crap!"

Came at 8:30 and they close at 9:00...it was just me, they said carry out only because it was 30 minutes to close, I looked at the buffet and half of it was gone already, and the majority that was left had a film on from sitting out so long....the teenage girls was just sitting around collecting a check for doing nothing. $12.99 for a buffet that only had half the stuff, or $5.99 per pound for carry out......I wondered why I was the only car in the parking lot, now I know why.....looked like food poisoning waiting to happen.

they use children to do their work when they are capable enough to do it themselves. the boss has a very short temper and lashes out on the employees. i would not recommend working or going to this unethical place. they may seem nice but they put on a mask with costumers but treat their employees like the garbage. they under pay staff to the max. the food is not that good and they could do better they do the bare minimum for their employees and customers the employees do all of the work in house. i have watched a young lady working there get yelled at and told if they wanted to quit they have to do the boss' side chores before they could leave. the boss has no idea what she is doing when it comes to running a business, she is in it for the money and the power the position come with. please be smart and never go there. all love.
