to be honest i was pretty nervous to try this place with all of the negative reviews.. but my grandparents were stuck on dinner at Chimi's, and i was pleasantly surprised ...FOOD : we all pretty much got street tacos, my grandpa got a black bean and cheese tostada. The chicken street tacos were really delicious, the chicken wasn't rubbery or fatty and the overall taco seemed fresh. i would've liked more chicken on them, but that's a small con. Everyone seemed to really like what they got, so nothing too upsetting from us -- we enjoyed our meals at Chimi's! Not outstanding but not bad. We did not dine in so i can't say whether or not the service is great, but who we did talk to were kind and our food was made in 10 minutes! I would say it's not a bad place to stop in and try out!

If it's on the menu and you charge me for it, I should get it. If you are remodeling DON'T COOK FOOD. My order was not only wrong the food smells like paint. So disgusting!

My company used Chimi's for our employee appreciation week taco lunch day. They did an incredible job! They fed 300 people with amazing skill. We had plenty of food for everyone. It was delicious. Everything was ready perfectly on time. The employees raved about the quality and quantity of food. Ashley stayed on site and did a wonderful job of helping serve everyone (ask for her as your server if you go for a meal!). They have the skill to take care of your catering needs and I highly recommend enlisting their services.

Business was slow today, and so was food poisoning preparation. They had draft beer, but they were out all except Modelo, so we got Modelo. It wasn't cold. Dan got the beef chimichanga with white queso. I got a chili relleno. They were out of raisin sauce, so I chose queso. Dan's chimichanga was dry and my relleno was a bit charred on the bottom. It took over an hour to get out. The server was good. It just took a long time to get our food.

This has been one of my favorite places to eat since 1986. For a while, it changed ownership and was a different restaurant and I was so excited when Chimi's moved back in. they even have the old nostalgic original sign on the inside. Sonora enchiladas with pepitas is my go to! There Margaritas are the best

I've gotten the border enchiladas and the street tacos with chorizo and carne asada. Both have been fantastic. I also get double beans, and they are usually great, but they're more inconsistent than the other items. Overall, great food.

We have been on search for good mexican food since moving from CA and this place did not disappoint. We got fish tacos and street tacos and the side of grilled veggies and some fried potatoes in enchilada sauce(papitos?) SO perfect!!! Glad i didnt listen to reviews! They were very busy but our waiter was so awesome!! Margaritas are big and tasty we will def be going again.

I ordered Chimi's because I found a great promo through Uber Eats. I got fajitas for one and a large white queso.I have to say, after just moving and working all weekend, this hit the spot! It was great, absolutely no complaints. Portions are huge and I'll be eating like a queen tomorrow too :) thanks Chimi's!
