Cherokee is cool as Cool-Hand Luke. It's a super easy, relaxed stop, with awnings,Wild West murals and no-frills plains-like air. Tents. Indian stuff. They sell clothes. Feathers, trinkets, mugs, candy, all sorts of stuff to bring to surprise your family. Stay forever.Rebel review: 5

We love stopping here. For us, we love the fried pies, the local salsas and jelly and pickles! They have cool gifts and then also some fun photo areas. We have enjoyed the restaurant that shares the parking lot as well. They keep the restrooms nice and the food is never old and stale. It's perfect on that stretch of road when all of Oklahoma there on that highway becomes redundant. There is nothing for so long. So this is a great break and fun for people who haven't experienced Native American souvenir shops. The bisons over on the back of the property are beautiful and there is even a dog park too! Take a stop. Stretch your legs. Grab a fried pie because on the road the calories don't count, right?!? Lol! Take some fun pics or do a dang tiktok (my 14 yr old insisted we participate and do it today here). Grab the habanero pickles or salsa. It's a fun little thing.

Most of the store seems to be overpriced Chinese/Pakistani and Mexican imports but of decent quality. What they had of local origin was nice, well made and reasonably priced. I realize if they only stocked locally produced items there probably wouldn't be much stock or variety. The employees were helpful without being pushy and the store was clean, well lit, the display cases were nicely arranged. Overall it's a nice place with something for all ages. It would be a good place to Christmas shop or pick up that forgotten gift on the way to Grandma's. I'd come back. I got some souvenir pennies pressed. And they have a machine to press quarters too.

They have a huge selection of souvenirs. The place has many rooms. It includes a art gallery clothing store, jewelry store, restaurant and gift shop. The one room had hand made knifes at a good price. A large selection of manufactured knifes at a good price. One of the neatest thing was you can buy a post card with a stamp on it and they will mail it for you. The live buffaloes we happy and seemed taken care of very well. We stopped just for a minute to look around and ended up spending the after noon there. The restaurant was nice clean an moderately priced we had buffalo burgers and onion rings very good food. We tried the fried pies they had many flavors of them. It is well worth the stop.

This was a major disappointment. So when I buy souvenirs I check labels. Well this is what I found. There were very very few actual Native American items here. The ones that were were made in New Mexico mostly. I looked and found labels from China, Taiwan, and Pakistan. I am extremely disappointed that they would claim to be a dealer in Native American gifts and only like five percent of their items are actually authentic.

At first I walked into the gas station thinking that was the trading post and was extremely disappointed. We were walking out when I saw the building in the back. The store is filled with everything you can think of to fit the Native American theme. Quality of items that range from basic to highly crafted. I was very impressed with the selection. There is a little grassy area where you can also take pictures, and don't forget to check out the buffalo they have out there too. Definitely a nice place to stop by after a long drive.
