Chelinos Mexican Restaurant

While in Okc we always venture back to El Reno for my favorite Mexican food.In my humble opinion, this is THE BEST Chelino's period! (Yes I've tried most of them).I love the thin large chips & tasty salsa @this location.We typically start with sharing a delicious Botana.Two of my favs: The crispy tacos & wonderfully tasty homemade tamales.Orders are always on point, the staff always friendly and it's always refreshing to see familiar faces.Great margarita & beer selections. Definitely worth the drive, always delish!

They have a large menu, including lunch specials, and alcoholic beverages. The waiters always bring plenty of chips, salsa, queso, relish, butter and tortillas while you wait for your food. Usually the food comes out pretty quickly.

Ordered cheese and onion enchiladas with eggs on top. I am a run of the mill vegetarian. The enchiladas that came were covered in a meat sauce. The way my dog went after them I thing the enchiladas were meat filled. It was horrible. I was so hungry.The salsa was great. My husband enjoyed his shrimp dish. Most Mexican restaurants are veggie friendly. Not this one. My new years eve dinner was a total loss

This is one of the best Chelino's Mexican Restaurants Their cheese dip is still the horrid canned cheese that all the Mexican restaurants in the metro area offer for free. I don't even judge them for it - it's what they do I. This area. I ordered an avocado enchilada with cheese sauce and a cheese enchilada with sour cream sauce. They were so good. I especially loved the avocado one. I will in fact be back in the future just for this lovely enchilada.The sopapillas which were also gratis were lovely also.

This is our go to location for Chelinos! The food and service is great. We have found this location to be the best for overall quality and service

The 40fiesta is awesome! Ask for the Habengero sauce w it. It's got a amazing flavor!!

Was passing through and decided to stop and grab lunch. The food was extremely underwhelming. I think the oil they used needed to be changed because the food/chips had a very unpleasant smell. I got the lunch fajitas and the bottom of my plate under my food had an excess amount of oil.

Be careful when ordering online from this place!!! I order a chelinos bowl and then drove 30 minutes home to find out the bed of white rice it was supposed to be on wasn't there. I then called them to rectify the situation and they only responded with thats not how we make it! Well if that's not how you make it then don't false advertise online or adjust your menu because I did not get what I paid for. They didn't offer a refund or a solution, they just kept repeating we never make it with rice. I'll ever order from here again!

3 out of the last five orders have been wrong. Final straw was this last order. It was thrown in a container sloppily, burnt and absolutely not what I ordered. Tired of giving them chances and thinking it was just an off day. Would give no stars if I could!

Went here for dinner. I'm from Midwest City and have always gone to the one in Midwest city. It has been the best and my go to. I recently moved to el reno and went here for dinner and we got sat, tried to ask the waiter for what we needed and they walked away too fast to even listen to what I was saying. They brought the bill and after that didn't come back to the table. I still needed a box and wanted dessert. We made eye contact with the waiter and even said " Sir " multiple times. They checked on the other three tables that were sitting but left us sitting there. Finally a waitress saw us trying to get somebody's attention and came and got us what we needed but needless to say if I want Mexican food I'm driving to Midwest City for it.
