Charlie's Chicken

Having a hard time rating this place. Would like to talk about the chicken and dumplings. I have to say they are wonderful. Great tasting. However the price is outrageous. For a family get together I ordered a gallon of dumplings. When I picked them up. They charged me 69$. When I questioned it. They just said 'that's the price' last month they only charged me 32$. So for the price I am giving them 1 star. For the food 4. Service 1 star. Over all only giving the a 2 star. Person would not even ask to verify the price.

Always fresh, always friendly, always busy. Charlie's has the best chicken in town with fresh made sides. This place is so busy there's no way your food won't be fresh and hot. Expect a good wait during dinner times.

Stopped in during COVID-19. We just went through the drive-through and the line was pretty long. Other than a fairly long wait the service was good. I had the jalapeño chicken poppers because I hadn't had them in a long time and I wasn't disappointed. They were nearly out of dark meat which is what my wife wanted but they were kind enough to mix other pieces inWithout overcharging. I also ordered the carrot cake which was really good except the bottom was a tad burnt. Fortunately it was a very large piece so no harm no foul. Overall decent experience for a fast food restaurant.

Where to begin? First experience they forgot my drink after I was waiting for at least 15 minutes. Second I just got tired of waiting in the drive thru. This time, I got my drink and sat and sat and sat. All while watching at least 3 other cars leave after me. All I wanted was some jalapeño chicken for Christ sake. But, whatever. My suggestion for this place is to have a "10 minutes and under" menu for those of us that don't have an hour to sit for food. I'll never eat Charlie's chicken again.

This is the first and only Charlies Chicken I've ever been to. Traveling to Tahlequah for work, I had to see what makes this place a staple in this region. Let me just say.... Everything is delicious. Chicken chunks are just the right amount of juiciest to breading, sides are on point... The one with the oranges definitely surprised me. Will go again for my next trip

I've been eating at Charlie's chicken for well over 30 years and I've never had livers that tasted like eating little black rocks. Sadly the manager thought that is how they are to be cooked. Charlie would have been embarrassed to see that served. Thankfully they substituted some chunks in place of livers so it wasn't a total lunch failure. The rolls are amazing but everything else seems to be over done. For my money I'll be headed back to KFC in the future.

I asked for a substitution to the Knockout Bowl for my Gluten allergy. The manager and cashier were very accommodating to remove the gravy and add grilled chicken.

Did a good job getting a large order together for our event that had over 40 people. The chicken chunks are always my favorite.

Our food was good! I didn't care for the macaroni and cheese, but the chicken and mashed potatoes were great! It was a bit slow but they offered us a free dessert. I'd go back!

Not the same Charlie's it used to be! I'mDone here. KFC is better and if they were smart they would put in a buffet to beat this place. The baked beans are terrible! Cold bread instead of warm! I'd recommend KFC instead.
