So much stuff. Great prices. Staff went above and beyond to help with our large purchases. We will be going back.

Well I really wanted to love it but I just didn't. I was hoping to find some great things at a fairly deep discount. Specifically, I was looking for a big rug to put in the playroom to help the baby when she falls as she's learning to walk. I was happy to see a big stack of rugs. But upon further inspection, the rugs were not good quality. And, they were still really expensive for what they were.Moving on to the furniture, I didn't find anything that I would want to buy, even if my plan were to repaint or refurbish. I'm sure that varies on the daily but when I was in there it was slim pickings. I can't speak to the builder supplies like tile, flooring, etc,. since I know nothing about that world. And, I'm not totally familiar with how it all works in terms of giving money back to Habitat, which may normally mean I would give an extra star, but if I'm just thinking about wether or not I would ever come back in again, I don't think I would. One thing I thought of is it's probably nice for the people who live right here to have a quick place they can stop into for things like duct tape and small tools and hardware and stuff like that, since if you live in Mesta there's not a very convenient Home Depot or anything, but I also noted that their hours are fairly weird, so I'm not sure how often that would work out; how likely is it that they are open when you need them?

So I didn't realize what a habitat renovation store really was until recently. I volunteered with the charity in college, but just on build sites not in the store for some reason!Think thrift shop meets Home Depot and you have the renovation station! I love to thrift shop, digging through to find hidden gems and saving money while still having nice things.I just bought a house so I couldn't have found this place at a better time! I found a light fixture, garden hose and faucet covers for winter. It seems like the place that you never know what will be in store, it's OK if you need a door and go in looking for one. But you may be better off if you go in with a list in mind and I'm sure you'll find a few things. Visit often to see the best selection.I'm excited to head back to take a closer look at the rugs, curtains, furniture and fixtures. As I understand, these materials are donated so any purchases at the store are money straight to the charity, just like goodwill. Who wouldn't love getting great home improvement items at a discount and knowing that your purchases benefit charity?! I know I do, and I am preparing to donate some of my nice, but just not my taste, furniture to the renovation store!

This place used to have great discounts. Now most of it is just below retail or even above. If I wanted to pay retail I wouldn't be at a second hand store. I know this is supposed to be for charity, but what is the point of shopping here if the prices don't make it worth digging through the piles. I wish it were more affordable but of it isn't I can't spend my money here...

I really enjoy this store. It is set up like a thrift store. The employees are always super helpful. If you need something loaded into your car they are more than happy to help you out. Another example of their great customer service is helping my friend pick out a faucet for the sink. She was willing to open the boxes and help her choose. Honestly I felt like they didnt need to do that but they did. Also, something people may not know is there is an area beyond the tile and wood flooring. It looks like it would be closed off but there is a sign that states customers are allowed. You go up another warehouse in the same building. There are windows, doors and other items. Also, one other area to shop is out in their yard. More windows, doors, sinks and so forth. Some of the items are used.Great store and great customer service. They will try and answer any question you have.

Great deals on donated building materials. Lots of random things as well. Cheap used furniture, new and used tools, doors, tile, odds and ends. It's fun to just browse for stuff or go there with a project in mind. Check it out; you won't be disappointed!

I've visited this place numerous times. There are a few bargains to be had. You really just got to know what you're looking for and what it's worth. Knowing brand names is important. I've seen many items marked above retail, or right at retail. Overall, I don't find it to be a good enough bargain to drive across town for.

I had some great furniture to donate. I called and explained in detail the number and size of the items to be picked up. I told the person on the telephone that the furniture was oversized, leather, and in excellent condition. I explained that it was in the house. They would have to carry the furniture out a side door and around to the front of the house. I called back to confirm after the person answering the phone spoke with her supervisor. She confirmed that they could pick up the furniture. They called back to reconfirm the day before pick-up. I explained in detail again that I was not physically able to carry the furniture outside and have it waiting for them. THEY REASSURED ME THAT THEY COULD COME IN THE HOUSE AND CARRY THE FURNITURE OUT. They were supposed to arrive in the morning. One guy in a truck showed up at 2:30 P.M. took 1 look at my chair and said " OH WOW!" I sat home all day for nothing!!!!!! I called their office and the woman answering the phone had the nerve to tell me that I didn't explain the situation to them! I couldn't believe it! If you want to donate to charity all you have to do is PAY someone to carry all of the furniture out of your house for them. I've done that before and they don't show up. Don't work with Habitat - call someone else.
