Catfish was wonderful and those were some of the best hush puppies I have ever eaten. Friendly service!

Before visiting the Bentonville area, all I heard about was this place. It was extremely busy. The coleslaw, hush puppies & pickles are placed on the table upon your arrival . The catfish steaks were tasty; so tasty that I ordered more. I would definitely eat here again.

I was in town to visit a friend on my move across the country and I stopped to see if I could satisfy a craving for fried catfish. The hightlights for me were the hush puppies, the coleslaw, the unsweetend tea, and the catfish-themed stained glass windows. The green tomato relish was interesting and I might call it good if I didn't have an aversion to sweet relish in the first place.I regret to say I was not at all impressed by the catfish filets, unfortunately. While they were indeed fried to a nice cornmeal crisp, they were extremely thin, dry, and had ZERO seasoning. Not even salt. I didn't bother finishing the fish, but I did eat as much as I needed to in order to keep my energy up for the road.The service was great. Everyone was friendly and prompt and the lady up front even made sure I had a refill on the tea (with lemons!) because I loved it so much.If you are craving catfish, I don't know what to tell you in this area. But I guarantee you could legit just sit there and eat hushpuppies and be happy, because those things were EPIC. Honestly probably the best ones I've ever had, and I grew up in Texas.

Catfish, or any seafood for that matter, is not my cup of tea.....but since this place is a local institution, decided to give it a go. Our server Chelsea was on it like none I have ever seen. If our drinks or the hush puppies needed attention, we had more before you could blink an eye. She was one of the best I have seen or experienced in some time. Food wise the hush puppies were legendary, and the Cole slaw was good. For my entree, I had the chicken tenders which were fantastic and fries that were made from real potatoes. If you leave this place and are still hungry, there is something wrong with you.

If you want any the best Catfish dinner in Arkansas then the Catfish Hole is your place. Great service, great food in a restaurant that is just as good for large groups as it is for couples. The hush puppies and green tomato relish are my favorite part of the unlimited sides, that arrive at your table within seconds of being seated, but the slaw and pickles are also really good. A word of warning to those who have not eaten here before, watch you don't eat too many of the sides that you don't have room for your entree! It's really easy to stuff yourself as the sides just keep getting refilled. If you want a great meal at a reasonable price then you cannot go wrong with stopping in here to eat!

Another great meal here tonight with fast service and fresh, hot food. However, there are a couple things to point out. It is VERY loud, and evenings are almost always busy. Lots of groups, families, and sports teams eat here, so do not expect a nice quiet meal here. Also, I do wish they would update the kids' meals to include a drink and side item other than fries. Fruit or green beans would be a nice side option, but currently they only offer fries for kids and no substitutes. Other than that I love the catfish, shrimp, clams, and chicken along with all the free fixins! One day I will try the desserts!

This hit the spot.The fixings came quickly. The hushpuppies were the star -- came hot and had great flavor. The green tomato relish was also very good. The coleslaw was bland and was swimming in mayonnaise. I thought the catfish fillets were good. However, my aunt thought the cornmeal breading was bland and needed seasoning. Obviously, the bone-in catfish is freshly made, whereas the fillets aren't.The french fries were well seasoned but kind of soggy.We had the blackberry cobbler, and it was kind of meh. They didn't have any peach cobbler.The service was great.

Recently ate at the Catfish Hole in Fayetteville with friends. We were there on a Saturday night and they were very busy. We got seated very quickly and were served almost as soon as we took our seats!! The service was consistent and very good! The food was excellent!! We all enjoyed our experience and will certainly return when in the area!! Highly recommend the catfish!!
