Carl's Coney Island No 3

This coney place in Claremore has been here for years. I'm actually happy to see it's had such sustaining power. I haven't been in for more time than I can count but wanted to see if their coneys were still good and I'm pleased to say they are. They are classic little hotdogs topped with mustard, chili and cheese. You can add onions too if you like. Two chili cheese coneys was an ideal portion for me. Three would have been too many for myself. If I lived in town and felt like I wanted a small savory snack I could see myself stopping by for one coney and a small soda. Maybe a bag of chips too. Indoor seating is available. You order your meal at the counter, cafeteria style, pay and then can find a table to sit and enjoy your coneys or three way chili. Three way chili is spaghetti noodles with chili and cheese on top. Onions can also be added. Two sizes are available. It's served with saltine crackers. The restaurant isn't large but it's homey and clean and the staff were friendly. Parking lot available in front of the restaurant. Carl's is located in a strip shopping center. Stop by and give 'em a try!

A little pricier than other coney places. I liked that they offer fresh made pie for dessert. Chili a bit different than your standard coney islander "Greek style" chili, was sort of sweet. Not off putting or bad, but something different and still enjoyable.

Your average coney place. Nothing special but it is good. They've got all the normal coney fixings. Give it a try if your in the mood for a coney.

A Claremore staple going way back. As good a coney as you can get. Never tried anything else there except the coconut cream pie (which was very good) but have heard their 3 way is great as well. Friendly staff and reasonable prices.

This is one of our favorite lunch spots, the coneys are great!! You can order the standard dog with mustard, chili, cheese and minced onions or get them with sauerkraut which is the best. Hours are limited and it's just a lunch place.

Excellent coney's ... almost as good as the original Coney Islander in down town Tulsa. Service is always quick and efficient. Limited hours.

Great hot dogs! The Coneys are amazing. If the phrase, "sliding down your gullet" means anything to you then you'll know everything that is necessary to describe these hotdogs. So, should you ever find yourself in Claremore, OK, you should check this out!!

Over-priced generic dogs. The chili sauce was not bad but not nearly enough. It was slapped together quickly and without great regard. Drinks are STUPIDLY overpriced at close $2.00 a drink. If it was reasonably priced, I would say it would be a decent lunch eat but definite not reasonably priced. I also would never eat supper there. Should be better than it is.

Not what I expected tasted sweet even though I had the basic chili and cheese dog. How ever the price was fair.

Soooo good!!! I travel all the way from Colorado to get these coneys! Great family run business! Go get you a delicious coney and some yummy pie!
