Cantina Bravo

3.5 stars rounded down to 3 because it wasn't quite 4 stars. Cantina Bravo was recommended to us, so we decided to try it out. It's a nice restaurant with more tables than you'd think by just looking at the outside. There weren't very many people in there when we visited around 6 pm on a Sunday evening.The service was pretty good. Our waitress checked on us a couple of times throughout our meal.The menu has denotations for "gluten free" and "vegetarian" which is helpful for someone like me who is gluten free. I appreciated that.The prices, I feel, have reflected the inflation that we are seeing currently. I don't feel like you get as much food for the amount you pay anymore. But it was good food. We did order a beef quesadilla for the kids meal and got a cheese, so that was a bummer. But he ate it anyway. I will say the corn tortillas are very good and the highlight of my meal!We do have a favorite Mexican restaurant in the area, so I'm not sure if we will return, but if I were going with friends, I wouldn't veto Cantina Bravo as an option.

The best restaurant in Webb City and best Mexican restaurant in all of Joplin. They are friendly, incredibly fast, have the best chips and salsa, addicting queso and delicious food. Always a 10/10!

Excellent selection but most of my party chooses the California Burrito which is about the best around IMO.

Food is mediocre. Kind of bland to me. Pricing isn't bad and portions were pretty good. I've been once no reason in going back a 2nd time! Went on a Sunday and wasn't busy at all felt like we were waiting forever when we needed refills.

One of the better looking Mexican restaurants in town in terms of atmosphere. Not diner-y but a touch more upscale. Not fancy by any means, but clean and neat and nicely done. We moved to the neighborhood - and while our go-to Mexican place is now too far away (Festival) - we are happy to have Cantina Bravo as a once-in-a-while substitute.For food, I had the tamales and they were very yummy. And the tableside guacamole was awesome. I wasn't a fan of the pale refried beans, but that's just a preference of mine. Still ate them and they were fine.The house margaritas were inconsistent - hubby's was pale yellow and mine was more green. So I traded mine in for a top shelf and that's definitely the way to go. And while I'm usually too full for dessert at a Mexican restaurant, the tres leches cake was to die for. Flan was meh, just FYI. I would like to try a sopapilla next time.So we're definitely coming back. Festival is still my favorite, but Cantina Bravo is a nice change.

I eaten here a few times. I feel their good is acceptable. I wish they offered more types of peppers.

Wow what a nice new restaurant. Our plates looked like a real chef prepared them. The food was good. Loved the salsa, the Chips were ok. The price was great ... fajitas for $9 was the special and it was a big portion. Service was great.Went for supper today... excellent. The special was a great deal for $9. Huge portions. Fast service good food and great prices!!

Cantina Bravo looks fine and the food was good, but the service and over charging was a disaster. They only knew what drinks and meals went to the entire group, certainly not who ordered what.When they brought tickets out we were able to get that straight, fairly quickly, but that all changed when they returned with the charged/paid tickets.I went with a group of about ten people. Each person or couple paid separately. One person paid for her meal with cash, before I paid with my card, but when they returned with my card, they had a different total, by the cash paid meal price. They offered to pay cash for the difference, which I refused, simply on principle. When I checked my charges they had a hold on the original $20+ and the additional $36+. Yesterday the original checked and they had replaced the $20+ with the authorized $25 charge, but have yet to clear the $36+ charge.I called and was told to call back today any time after 10:30am, but when I did call, I was told no one would be in today that could help me.

Watch your receipts waitress likes to add her own tip! Service is horrible we have been there several times and always had bad service! Food is so so, margaritas are so so too! Would not recommend!

We went with high expectations. Some enchiladas, shrimp tacos, a large burrito. We had queso as well. Everything was just sort of okay. Slightly more than room temperature, not very flavorful. Kind of sloppy.
