This is amount the best museum around with emphasis on early statehood and THE ROCK ISLAND railroad and early county settlement. The museum's main building is the old train depot. The display covers a few building and also has many old tools that helped the pioneers thrive during harsh conditions.

A cool place that does a nice job preserving some of the old west buildings in the town. Kind of limited hours, so call ahead but it was fun, and the woman working there let me into the old hotel building to check it out. They have a bunch of old stuff saved in the big garage building that is worth checking out, and a trolley you can take around town.
