That hit the spot. If you're missing the French quarter in New Orleans or bourbon street this is the place for you.

Stopped at the increasing number of food trucks near Lake Fayetteville. I went on a day when the weather was about 20 degrees (craving hot gumbo!). It would be great to eat here in the Spring or warmer weather. Lots of picnic tables all around the trucks. I call NOLA my 2nd home so I'm picky. Ordered the seafood gumbo. I'm used to more gumbo & less rice, but this was the opposite. The gumbo was tomato based rather than the dark roux I prefer. It consisted of shrimp, okra, & smoked sausage (not abundant) with French bread. The rice & shrimp were pretty mushy & the portion was small for $8.50. The staff, while super nice, appeared Asian & I find it strange that there's sushi on the Cajun Kitchen menu. Also, zizania rice, baked potato w/basic toppings & a bbq pork sandwich (?) The staff was super friendly and I hope they succeed. I can tell they put a lot of love in their food.

Hot seafood gumbo is difficult to find in Fayetteville Arkansas. You've got the best view of Lake Fayetteville on a picnic table outside.

First time at the food trucks and I'm glad this was the place we decided on. As I walked up to the window, I was overwhelmed by the sweet smell of Cajun Cousine. The owner was just delightful, she greeted us with a smile and also brought our food out to our table- The meal was exquisite. Haven't had such a delicious etouffee in YEARS! Delighted with my experience.

Wanted something different than the norm. Had seen this truck multiple times and finally stopped. Hands down best Cajun food in the area. My family is from Louisiana and it's hard to find this kinda food with this kind of flavor. I'll be back for sure.

I was exercising near Lake Fayetteville and stumbled upon the Cajun Kitchen located near Lewis & Clark. First off the setting is absolutely gorgeous and I was very impressed with the menu. My wife and I tried the Shrimp Etoufè and it was the best I have ever had. We also had a cheesecake for dessert that really hit the spot. The owner of Cajun Kitchen (Susan) is a longtime local restaurant industry insider and she visited with us personally and it was an all around five star experience. We will be regulars at Cajun Kitchen.
