I'm happy to report that THE BUFFET IS BACK! You heard it here. The buffet is back with all of your favorites! We just happened to be in the area a few weeks ago and I was craving some of their delicious catfish and greens. We stopped in, thinking we'd have to order off the menu since they got rid of the buffet post-covid, but we were pleasantly surprised when we were told that the buffet is back. The best part about the buffet is the fact that you can sample several things without committing to ordering an entire dish of it. That said, I tend to stick to my favorites. Their collard greens are fantastic. I also like the scalloped potatoes, red beans and rice, and the fried chicken. The catfish tenders are the absolute best and they are brought to your table as a complimentary item to have along with your meal. Trust me when I tell you that this is the best catfish ever. And they give you a delicious honey mustard dipping sauce to boot. Yes, honey mustard. Trust me, it works! I wish we could get over here more often, especially now that the buffet is back in action. My only complaint is that several of the dishes were empty when we arrived and they didn't get filled before we left. I got a smidgen of greens and was told that they'd be bringing out more, but that didn't happen before we had to leave, unfortunately. The staff are so kind and genuinely happy to have your business. The restaurant is very festive in New Orleans/Mardi Gras style. You have to check this place out. Your taste buds will thank you!

They are BACK!They are open and the buffet is back in full swing.Everyone that used to go there needs to get back into the habit - we have to keep their business up so that they can be there when we get hungry :)

We were so excited to hear that the buffet was back. We both remember it back in the hay day when the restaurant was full with people and everyone loved the food. We got there a little after 5:00 pm not many people there eating yet. I saw the super friendly owner and he told me to have a seat in a booth. The decorations were still the same, very New Orleans. The owner brought out some fresh fried chicken to the buffet and it was what I remember it being. Juicy, hot, fresh with a small kick of spice. The shrimp was big and juicy, and just the right spice. The gumbo, crawfish etoufee, red beans and rice, jambalaya were all fantastic. Cajun King roux is so superior when it comes to the soups. They brought us a plate of fresh catfish and sauce to our table. They still have some kinks to work out keeping up with keeping food on the buffet. The blackened pork chops, hush puppies, and fried okra all needed replenish when we were there. The owner did tell us he was working on getting the frog legs and blackened chicken Alfredo back soon. The cost per person was $19.99.

I love this place. I will say it is old and dingy but the food is great and the people who own and run it are friendly and accommodating. I would be doing a disservice if I didn't say the main draw here for us the catfish. I catch and prepare blue cat myself and I am extremely picky and skeptical of anyone else handling and cooking of catfish but here it is literally always the best I ever have. I just wish I knew how to reproduce it. Also this place would be a five if the facilities were better

Food is always piping hot and delicious. Even when we have it delivered. they do an awesome job ensuring we have a fresh hot meal.

Visiting OKC with my family and saw this hidden jewel off the beaten path. The ambiance was lovely like a quaint French Quarter cafe. We were greeted and given top notch customer service that made us feel at home. The buffet provided a variety of Cajun cuisine. Our favorites were the fried shrimp, hush puppies, bread pudding and those delicious beignets! We really enjoyed ourselves!

Food was old and reheated from 3 days ago. Not sure what type of fish they fried but wasn't good at all. Come to think of it, it probably wasn't fish!!! They need to close down for good!

Today was my first time & it was good. The amount of food I got for $20 was good. I was a little sad that my jambalaya didn't come only the rice.
