Jamie S. "Muskogee got a Goodwill! Finally! It opened back in the fall of 2024. I try to go every week at least once. I always find great stuff. They've also just started doing the certain color tags half price each week! I found fabulous Christmas decorations and gifts over the holidays. The staff are always really kind. I've never had a bad experience yet. And it was fully stocked today! I found some great stuff that I was hunting for."

HOW Thrift Store

Jill G. "I think it can be so difficult to rate a thrift store. Thrift stores cater so much to the individual as to what they're looking for, price range, variety turn over of products etc. I would say this particular thrift store is great for: furniture, athletic equipment, dishware, appliances, handicap items and older electronics. This is not the place to go shopping for unique clothes. Let me tell you the reasons I think this thrift store rates five stars for me personally. One. The incredible amount of product turnover. Things (usually furniture) are coming in the back door all the time throughout the day. I've seen people literally sit by the door in chairs and watch things come in so they can pounce on them. Don't these people have jobs? The second reason is the prices. So many thrift stores are overpriced and not much below new retail. This thrift store has lots of product and has to move it so they keep their prices low. Nothing is priced so you ask the front desk for costs. This is a super fast and easy process. If you get a large item like filing cabinets, couches etc. they can deliver it to you for a small fee depending on where you live. And lastly the friendliness of staff here is the best I've seen around. Every employee that I've passed either say good morning smile or ask if you need help. I really enjoy this store. Tip the more things in your basket the more of a discount try not to buy just one thing if possible."

Alexandra O. "This is one of those stores you find the best items at, and have to keep coming back. I've found great deals here that range from $10 shoes - to dresses perfect for any occasion! Just recently I found my new favourite bracelet for $5!!! The owner is SO nice, everytime I come in this store I feel so welcome. Favorite thrift store in TULSA! I also love the option of bringing clothing in for store credit, it's nice to be able to exchange old clothes for new ones!"

Matthew K. "This is the second time that U-Haul's online reservation system has sent us to this unfortunate location. Both times, the experience has been quite bad. The staff is rude, slow, dismissive, and seem unwilling to be of any real help. I recommend avoiding this location at all costs. If you are renting a U-Haul, choose one of the other many locations!! I cannot emphasize this enough. Additional warning: Masks still demanded many months after restrictions have been removed."

Tulsa Habitat for Humanity Restore Rack

Tulsa Habitat for Humanity Restore Rack

Ginger M. "You may know this store as the former Value Thrift. It has changed hands and is now the Habitat for Humanity "Restore Rack". This means primarily clothing on offer, very unlike the usual Restore locations focusing on home related items, used hardware, and DIY supplies. That suits me fine and I find this to be a really good stop when thrifting in the area. They do have special offers such as 1/2 off certain tag colors, but the prices overall seem a little higher than they were at Value Thrift. The store is a bit cleaner and better organized now as well, but overall it is relatively similar to how it was in the past. I'd much rather see this store in Value's spot than an empty building, that's for sure."

Pamela H. "The sign on this business is 3 Strands Vintage Antique Mall. It is a very organized store with different booths thru out. They had a lot of people working helping everyone. There is also a little snack bar in the middle back wall and a eating area in the back corner of the store. A seating area also right behind the cashier area for those who need to sit down. They have shopping cart for people to use as well as hand held baskets. When it is busy, you have to bob and weave in and out of the booths so that they can get by when it is busy. Great parking and open 7 days a week."

Tamara H. "Surprisingly, this thrift store has several different categories of stuff. Clothing is their biggest category, but they have shoes, furniture, toys, office supplies, merchandise from big box stores like Target, books, handbags and backpacks and health and beauty products. As much merchandise that's in this store, it's organized and clean. Prices are irregular. For the most part, prices are reasonable. However, clothing items that are new or a high end label, they have the prices higher. Staff was friendly. A security guard is on the premises. This thrift store is in a strip center. Shared parking lot available."

Courtney E. "Great selection of items at fair prices. Lots of small houseware items at this location but not a lot of furniture. They have cases at the register station with fine jewelry and designer purses that change pretty often. This location is close to my house so this is my go-to donation spot. The donation staff is very friendly and prompt to come out when you pull up. A good tip: this location is part of the 'Dell Reconnect' program! They recycle used computer equipment no matter what brand it is, whether it's working or not. Dell takes these items and refurbishes them if they can be used again, and Goodwill uses the refurbished computers for job training. Pretty cool if you ask me! This program cuts down on junkyard waste and gives an easy option for computer recycling. Overall this store is clean, organized, and the staff is friendly. Small store, but one of the better ones!"

Anna F. "This is a great little shop run by animal aid. They have a variety of clothes, jewelry, housewares, and shoes in stock at great prices.I visited with my cousin today and was surprised to see all the items in stock. There were jewelry pieces in the original packages! The shopkeeper was very friendly and allowed me to look over the large amount of jewelry. She said that one whole case came from one donation! I picked out a pair of barely worn Lucky Brand shoes and some jewelry. If you're looking for a great place to find some great deals and have your money go to a good cause, check out this shop."

TR H. "On our trip from Kansas City back to the DFW area, we looked up some resale/thrift stores that were along our way. We always look for little treasures or vintage items. This store has tons of inventory and the gentleman working there was very helpful, warm, and friendly. We were glad we stopped as we found some good stuff. The only knock on the place is that it is too small or they have too much stuff. Organization was rough and it looks like the operator was just overwhelmed with stuff."

I love shopping for school spirit wear for my child, friends, and to resell during football season! The staff here are chatty and kind. Jahaziel H. "Annie C. mentioned this thrift store as Tulsa's hidden gem on @experience.tulsa on instagram so I had to come explore. It is the Assistance League's store, a nonprofit volunteer organization offering community programs to fill needs such as providing school uniforms, essential items to kids in foster care, meals and other services. That means that you're supporting a great cause when you shop at this thrift store. This is not a large store but they have a great variety of items. Sometimes I have to be in the mood to sort through stuff to dig and find something at larger stores. That is not the case here. They do a great job of selecting and labeling the items and have quality pieces. It is full of unexpected treasures, like vintage brands and jewelry. I found the perfect job interview outfit here along with vintage round pearl earrings and professional blazers. The volunteers are super nice and helpful. New merchandise is put on the floor daily and each item is priced very affordably. Apart from their clothing sections, they also sell accessories, shoes, home furnishings, linens, antiques, collectibles, books and furniture. They accept donations during store hours and all donations are tax deductible."

I only continue to go there because I need the clothes out of my way and would just donate them anyway. I get that they have to make money, but I've seen the price they list things for and it's well over what they give you. It wouldn't hurt for them to pay a bit more to their customers."

This is easily among the best organized thrift stores I've visited, especially their bedding/linens area (remarkably well labeled and neat). On my most recent visit, I scored a great summer top, warm and cute fleece jacket, and Miss Piggy's Guide to Life. You just never know what you may find here, and isn't that the best part of thrift shopping? It's located in downtown Claremore and I've always found parking to be pretty easy."

Family & Children's Services Thrift Store

Terrie B. "First the pros: -When you walk in and you're not knocked down by that old familiar thrift store fragrance. And by fragrance, I am referring to the smell of pets and urine that fills most thrift stores. -I went on on Monday and they were offering a discount to military families. -Everything is very organized and priced and displayed properly. The clothing section looked more like a department store then a thrift store.-I was greeted when I walked in buying employee and then buy another employee as I shopped. That was refreshing and added to the overall experience. Now the cons: -The prices on the clothing seemed way too high. I can usually buy denim overalls for my six month old grandsons at Goodwill thrift stores for 99 cents. Here, they were three dollars and higher which seemed a little ridiculous. I saw footed pajamas that had been washed a few too many times that were marked three dollars each. Again, it seems a little high compared to Goodwill and other thrift stores in town. -There was not a huge selection of decorative items but they are new and I think in time this will improve."
