"Had a great girl's night out; we drank, ate, and danced our night away. Coming from San Diego, it was refreshing to be in an establishment that respects its' veterans. My parents, little brother, brother-in-law, and husband are all veterans and it was nice to see their sacrifice appreciated. Next time we're in town, I'll definitely bring hubby here, he stayed at home watching the kids so I could get out. It was a great night!"
"Refreshingly cooler (with air conditioning and stylistically) than I imagined it might have been. I've been to some of these older theaters that are not quite up to par - but not this one. Comfortable and Kitschy - pleasantly old school with enough modern to count it relevant for a great place to enjoy good music, theater (or your choice of...) and fun! Thanks for hosting Post ModernJukebox! Wowzer and fantastic!"
"Somehow I've never made it here until last month. I love jazz and knew this place existed, but it wasn't top of mind when planning nights out. Now that I've been I'm so looking forward to coming back! It wasn't very busy that night, so we got to sit in a corner and enjoy. They have food available from Hideaway next door and a pretty good drink selection too. Lots of good dining options nearby if you want to grab dinner before as well. Excited for another date night here soon!"
"I just happened to swing in and give this place a try as I was waiting on friends. This is on the beating path but off. In other-words it's unique enough to stand out from the other places in bricktown! I had a beer and classic slider. Damn yummy grub!! And a total repeat. I went early in the Saturday evening so the live music wasn't set yet and it wasn't crazy busy. There are lots of tvs to catch a game or two. And the bartender was friendly and people around me chatted while great music from the jukebox. Lastly they have fireball and Jager on tap. Like I said a definite repeat hangout."
"One of your basic staples in small town Oklahoma. A lot of different burgers, a couple salad dishes, pasta dishes, a little pork, a little fish.I had the Johnny burger, which is a basic smash burger with jalapeño cream cheese. Fries are a little limp for my style, but average. So far in my experience, they mostly do smash burgers in Bartlesville. I haven't seen a medium or rare patty anywhere.I had a couple cocktails. One refreshing, one sweet and heavy. Busy around 7 PM, was cleared out by 8. I got seated immediately. Staff was attentive. This is an average restaurant. Will try again, but nothing mind blowing so far. They reportedly have a famous bread pudding, which I had planned to try, but the server brought me my check before I was able to ask for it. You're supposed to ask for it about 20 minutes ahead of time because it's made to order.Prices moderate. As others have said, don't expect substitutions. It's written expressly on the menu. Yes, all condiments are extra. Doesn't bother me, but may bother some. Will revisit my rating when I try again."
"We had not been to Maggie's since they moved to Jenks (from The Pearl district). Maggie's has been on our list for a while. While we were in Jenks to visit the Third Friday Art Walk, we popped in.A duo was playing great music and it seemed like most people in the bar were fans. It was great people watching. The music was fantastic and eclectic. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were very friendly and prompt. Just had a couple of beers and moved on.Wish they had food and we definitely would have stayed. Definitely want to go back and hear some sounds in the pack patio."
"They did great with the remodeling; the space is beautifully decorated. Solid brunch menu. Our server was attentive. Throughout our meal, other staff came and checked on us. Great crab and artichoke dip. For the main meal, I had the chicken and waffles. Great batter, but the meat wasn't tender. Still, we enjoyed our brunch and will likely return."
"Oklahoma, and particularly Oklahoma City, is a bit of fly over with for most bands. So, any chance we have to see a band at the Diamond, we take it. This place gets a lot of negative reviews. But, going to any concert seems to be laden with issues. The Good: The Diamond has been recently updated.... a huge thank you from all the ladies as the bathrooms no longer require that you update your tetanus shots, carry a flashlight, and a gallon of hand sanitizer. The area is bright and clean. Sound system (which can vary on who is running the board) is on par and most bands sound great. Ample parking, clearly marked with guides when you arrive. Loads of room, 3 bars, decent merch area. The club is standing room/General Admission, but there are loads of places to find your perch for the show. The Bad: Ticket prices look good online, but when you start buying the fees add up... plus you only save $5 on two tickets by going to Uptown or Buy for Less... Not sure if this is a venue issue or a band/promotion issue. The Ugly... not really much to say here. Drink prices are what they are, but at least you can get a double. Overall, it is a decent place to see a live band. It's our Field of Dreams... if you Play here, we will come."
"Very neat, small listening room in the heart of OKC "Chinatown." BYOB!!!Greg, the owner, has invested in the vibe and the sound of the room. He also has discerning taste in music, and regularly asks his patrons to "trust him" and support artists they've never heard of. Quite the 21st century message for the arts. Tickets are normally around the $15-20 range, but it only seats 100 so you get what you pay for in intimacy. Buy tickets in advance if you really like the artist - it often sells out. There's a cozy outdoor patio with a fire pit for hanging before and after the show."
"Beautiful and masterfully impressive auditorium that sets the standard in construction, and the materials used. What a wonderful and amazing history this lovely place has, and the quality of the entertainment provided here. Truly a gem in the middle of nowhere."
"This is a pretty cool little venue. It's chaotic when at capacity. And they close the bars super quickly. I also think tickets are overpriced for quality of venue."
"What a wonderful thing for OKC! Marie surprised me with tickets to Star wars, Empire Strikes Back live!! This absolutely a great event. I had no idea they would be playing the movie along with the philharmonic doing the music score! It was so very emotional and was overwhelming sharing this experience with the whole crowd!!! You could feel the energy!!!Can't wait till next year for Return of the Jedi!"

Saw Sheng Wang here and it was actually my first time in the venue! It's a very cool theater and has a lot of history. Also extremely spacious stage and area - with nice lobby space. Staff and security do a great job and also Formosa Street Food & Bar is next door if you want to go there before/after a show (got their meatballs while waiting in line since they are so addicting). Highly recommended venue!

It's a good spot, but it definitely draws an older crowd. My first reaction when I walked in was... Ohhh, so this is where all the baby boomers go to let loose on the weekends. Lol. I was kind of surprised, honestly. However, there were SOME millenials sprinkled in there. We went for my dad's birthday to see the group, Souled Out. They are really good and covered songs like Aretha Franklin's "Respect," Earth, Wind & Fire's "September," Kenny Loggin's "Footloose," The B-52's "Love Shack," and that's just to name A FEW. They also did a lot of covers of Bruno Mars songs which was fun.So if you're a little older and you haven't checked this place out, you should! If you're a little younger, now you know what to expect. It's just something to keep in mind.

Honestly not a good place to eat. Maybe if you're looking for a trailer park style whiskey shooting joint maybe but not for dinner. We ordered the "supreme" pizza (picture attached) and when we questioned why it only had a few pepperoni and a few sparse sausage balls we were told (by the manager) that "the menu doesn't say what's F$@ing on it." If I ordered chicken fingers and you brought a salad I would ask the same question even if the menu didn't say what's in the meal you call chicken fingers. Unbelievable that a restaurant has so many good reviews when it treats customers like that. We will never return. Silver lining - the quality of the cheese they use is quite good.

If you are not from Bartlesville, Frank & Lola's is worth a road trip to Bartlesville. If you are not from Oklahoma, Frank & Lola's is worth whatever it takes to get to Bartlesville. This establishment should be on a national registry of fantastic American eats. I've been extremely fortunate to have family in the area, but for the other poor souls who need a reason to visit the city, this is it. Relish the fact that it could be hugely successful in downtown Dallas, New York City, or LA... but you'd never get a table in any other place. The ambiance is casual, the service has always been excellent, and the food is simple and delicious. Ok... I have to admit I've had maybe three things off of the menu. Two items I can't remember until I discovered the Green Chili Burger. I've since never ordered anything else. A word of warning: this is not a burger you pick up and eat; come hungry.

First thing I want to say about this place is how glamorous it is inside! Love the velvety mauve chairs with the black and grey accents and the exposed air ducts. I had a good feeling about the food while studying the menu but unfortunately it was a big disappointment. I felt like I could have made every dish we had at my house and it'd have tasted much better and would have been so much cheaper. Not sure if l I'll give this place another try.

We saw Insider here a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed the concert and this venue. The staff was friendly, the bar was well managed, and the bathrooms were clean. Thanks for a great experience!

"Looking for a good time and a cheap drink in Bricktown? Look no further than JJ's. A true hidden gem amongst the other more glitzy, pricey, and touristy things in the area. It's a literal hole in the wall... I happened to notice it as I was walking down the street one day.I popped in midday on a weekday while visiting the area. The bartender was friendly. They don't have beer taps, but they do have a wide variety of local cans. The beer menu is hand printed on a piece of cardboard (and I would expect nothing else). Service was good, atmosphere was better, and for $12 for two local micro brews, I really enjoyed my time here. There's an eclectic mix of decor and a variety of patrons. I know they have live music here some nights too. I'll definitely visit JJ's again when I'm in the area."
"473 surely one of my favorite cocktail hangout place in Tulsa. Why? They have great (well designed) indoor and outdoor seating space. Easily for larger group or more intimate booth seating. And the best part is - my fido can stay with me the whole time. I wish we've more pet friendly indoor places for hangout in Tulsa but sadly no. Let's talk drinks - while they don't have a large variety of liquors to choose from, their quality and prices make up for it. Their House Old Fashioned (ONLY $5 during Happy Hour) - it's well worth a try. Signature Cocktails is $12 - my favs are Don Diego De La Vega (Cucumber Jalapeno Tequila, Ancho Chili Liqueur, Lemon, Lime, Agave) - an easy crowd pleaser with a kick. Spill the Tea (Butterfly Pea Flower Infused Gin, Lemon, Jasmine Green Tea Simple, Elderflower Liqueur) is on the lighter side, a gentle lady's drink. If you feel adventures, ask their friendly bartender to make you a Rob Roy with their Ardbey Ten Years. I had it a few times and it's awesome. I think they should put that on their regular menu.#ThankYouThursday"
"We headed out here to hear a local musician play a round or two. We are so pleased when local spots support local talent! We really enjoyed the band and the service was really good and was low on pressure. We happily paid a small cover to hear the music and we enjoyed the entire night. They have a good sized dance floor for the space and the sound was good as well. The are is a little sketchy but we didnt have any problems or issues that night.Do they have someone watching the parking lot? ;)"
"This place is really cool and has a "totally rad" interior decor - the food is also pretty decent, and I got the mushroom pocket (like a hot pocket), tater tots, fried string beans, and fried pickles. My only piece of feedback is it would be cool if they actually added more items to their menu that weren't fried! Overall great venue."
"If you like live music, this is a good place to check out. Don't let the location fool you. This place is very nice inside. Plenty of TVs with sports, several pool tables in good condition, sports banners and signed guitars decorating the walls, and a very spacious seating area. The best part though is the stage and dance floor, which is nicer than any other bar I have seen in OKC. The food is classic bar food, but is actually quite good. We've seen 2 cover bands here and both times it was really nice. Not too loud, but loud enough to be enjoyable. The drinks flow very fast, but they could be a bit stronger. For the price they are a good value, but they are weak. The thing that struck me the most though is how clean it was. This is by far the cleanest bar I have been in. Even the restrooms are clean. Make the drinks a little bit stronger, even if that means raising the price a little, and this would be a 5 star place, hands down."
"I hesitated on giving a five star. With the view I experienced while I walked around was just so peaceful even with the band music being played loudly by the bandand even beautiful"
"I absolutely love this place! Incredible cheeseburgers and cold beer! The staff has been great, nice atmosphere."
"We had never been to the Farmers Market in downtown Okc so we decided to stop by on a cold rainy Saturday. It was not what I expected at all. I thought it would be all outside and just fruits and veggies. There were lots of cool vendors. It's winter so maybe there are more fruits and veggies in the summer. There were lots of meat and cake vendors. We got to sample some different meats and cheeses and ended up buying some at 3 different vendors . We were just planning to look around and not buy anything but the meats were awesome and so was the cheese. We also bought a piece of cake. The vendors are all really friendly and we had a great time. We will definitely go back."
"I was craving chips and salsa and we were in the Jenks area, so we tried it for the first time. Chips did not disappoint! Really good. The salsa was too mild tho. Just to get some taste I had to practically submerge the entire chip into it. Definitely super mild salsa. The rest of the food was good. Taco kind of bland, so I asked for some lettuce on the side. The waiter was very friendly!"
"First time here, had our benefit here for veterans here and its kewl spot. The staff is engaging, prompt to get your drinks even though it's busy. Nice stage for bands to play, clean restrooms and a kewl patio to get some fresh air if needed. Check this place out."
"We checked out some live music here recently and had a great time! This location has been a couple different dive bars since I moved to Tulsa, and it still looks somewhat the same. I noticed that there was more light and a patio area in front. It's no smoking, which is fantastic! The bartenders were friendly and quick, which is always appreciated! The only negative, and keep in mind it's a dive, was the bathrooms. They could have been cleaner, for sure. Overall, we will definitely be back!"
"Stopped in here on a whim Valentine's Day not knowing where the heck we were going and so glad we did! The guy performing on stage was fabulous and the special drink that night was made superbly delicious by the bartender!! Can't wait to go back! Thank you!!"
"I recently went to a concert at Studio 308 and the atmosphere and vibe was incredible! Very inviting and everyone was dancing to the band and having a great time! I also hosted an event there and it was perfect!"
"Went on a Sunday night after dinner. Live music on the deck. Very dog friendly!!Friendly staff and clientele. And even the musicians! Good selection of beers and booze. Nice spot on the river walk area. Excellent place!"
"Paycom is great. It's easy to get to and pretty easy to park around it. Security and ticketing goes fast. Good food and drink options. Quite an old arena now, but still in good shape."
"Stopped here on our floating river weekend. For being out in the middle of nowhere Oklahoma. We got the food we expected to get. The band was subpar but played good hits. Everyone at the place looked like locals. Good time, okay food. Next time I would just get a burger over these nachos."
"As far as dive bars goes, this is a great place to go, hang out, and listen to some live music. There are quite a few tables, and when we visited, we took a table hoping that it wasn't a regular's spot. Everyone in the place was super friendly. Don't expect any table service here - order your drinks at the bar and make yourself comfortable. The bartenders were really friendly and welcoming too. It's always weird when you go into a place for the first time and don't know anyone and feel that "I'm outta place" vibe. But not here - I didn't feel that way at all. There is a nice back patio for warmer days and nights even in winter. Live music is an added bonus. And apparently you can count on a clean women's bathroom. I was told this was true, and it held up to it's reputation. Smoking is allowed inside, so be prepared if you're not a smoker or have issues breathing in second hand stuff. I'm somewhat sensitive to it, but I wasn't dying. The back door to the patio was open, and when it got too bad for me, I just stepped outside for some fresh air. I may have danced a little bit back there too...."
"Fun little bar in downtown Fort Smith. The karaoke is quite popular. Good service. Smoking is allowed inside."
"Highly recommend for the special theme nights. They have burlesque, jazz, and more.We came for a super fun hot date and to see some friends perform. We got lucky and hit $5 burger night and they were delish! Also loved the homemade chips!!!We don't drink alcohol and were still able to have an amazing time!"
"This venue is leaps and bounds beyond the competition. During our experience here, the staff was all very friendly, courteous and willing to help. I was very surprised by the cheerfulness and attitude of the workers. This was very refreshing and a huge change from the other competing casino venues.Another thing Paradise Cove has going for it is the cleanliness and over all beautiful design. It is a really nice space, not cramped at all. In fact, I'm 6ft tall, so when we see a show at a venue my knees are usually crammed in the back of a chair, and it hurts to walk afterward. This was not the case here! I had PLENTY of leg room here, so that alone is reason for me to come back. The musical act we saw was awesome and the sound was great. I don't recall any issues at all. Again, everything seemed very professional and spot on in terms of not only the venue but the staff and the equipment. I'm excited to go back and check out another show soon!"
"First time eating here and man oh man did we come on a great night. chef nook cooked boudin balls, jambalaya with catfish and peach bread pudding. Everything was absolutely amazing and to die for. The. server was really good and the owner came to our table as well. Very very nice welcome place that has some amazing food."
"This is the hidden gem of Oklahoma's music scene, for indie music at least. A very small intimate space that amazingly enough books some high end talent as well as local and regional acts. Owned in part by member's of Oklahoma's own Starlight Mints, this is the best place in Norman to see a show. Think the Rome of old but on a much smaller scale. I have been to a number of shows here including Sebadoh, Reverend Organdrum (Jim Heath of the Reverend Horton Heat's side project), Calhoun, Bob Mould and even the legendary Genital Chaucer over the years. I've also been to a few private events by friends that have "bands" - basically just an excuse to get up and jam on a decent stage and play rock star for a night. All in all a great place to see a show and unlike other of Oklahoma's smaller venues they have great restrooms, are non smoking (unless you go onto the outside deck), have decently priced drinks and I don't believe I've ever paid much over $15 for any of their shows. How they accomplish this is beyond me when maximum capacity has to be well under 200, but I won't complain. There is a hipster vibe and but not overwhelmingly so and some very cool art can be found and apparently they allow if not encourage patrons to doodle their own graffitti on the walls, especially in the bathrooms. I highly recommend this place for a show. Their advertising budget must be nil because oftentimes I'll only find out an artist I like is playing here from the artist's website itself and if you drive by too quickly you'll miss it but don't miss out on one of Oklahoma's true great places to see a show."
"Not a bad place just not real well curated. It's free so I guess you get what you pay for. Oklahoma has some huge stars. Carrie Underwood was born in Muskogee. Blake Shelton Toby Keith. We were expecting so much more than we found. Things are just laid around in a haphazard way. We recently visited the Alabama music hall of fame in Muscle Shoals which was fantastic. This was kind of a let down."
