"I drive by here often but decided today was the day to stop and give it a try! The inside it looked and smelled clean and the service was great. It didn't take long for the food to came out hot and fresh! It has been a while since I've had a good gyro but this ranks right up there with one of the best! Full on meat and fresh veggies... and the tzatziki sauce was incredible! I'm be back to try the burger another day!***Tip - ask for extra tzatziki sauce to dip your fries in!"
"Mediterranean cuisine is one of my favorites, and this is absolutely the best I've ever had (I've had a *lot*).The location is so unassuming in a small older strip mall. They've really done so much with it, the ambience was more upscale than I expected. I felt underdressed in my athletic clothes (we came after an athletic event), but it was between meal times so not many people were there. The service was attentive and professional but still personable. This would be great for a nice quiet dinner out. Very relaxing vibe. The food is astoundingly good. I'm confident that anything you try will be great, but we especially enjoyed the hummus, herb soup, skewer platter, veggie platter, cabbage rolls, and rose cake. Everything is so authentically fresh and packed with flavor. Best dolma and tahini sauce *ever* - the value of what you get here is a steal. This will be in our regular rotation of restaurants when we are in town. Well done."

"The place has a very comfortable atmosphere wonderful decorations. I had the seafood wrap. They let my wife customize her pizza. Nice they have a lunch and dinner menu separate. They do have out door seating as well. But it was cold. Parking is down town. So if they may be busy might be a short walk but well worth it. The price is fair won't break the bank. Restrooms nice a clean. We will be back to try there dinner menu."
"Used for catering. Food is so so good. Paid an arm and a leg for it but it was more than enough for everyone and people left our home raving about the juiciness of the kababs. Will be back again and again! Service and punctuality are exemplary. My husband gave them a tip just for being such wonderful people."
"Had Shesh Lek platter to go earlier this week; generous portion of euros and chicken, with delightful, hummus and tabouli. Even the rice had great flavor. First, the owner was a little crusty over the phone. Had to call back and surmised that he had been getting a lot of spam calls. Second, beware the *substantial flavor* in the dish - I mean you're gonna need two breath mints from all that garlic. Third, for the 1299 price paid, I literally got two meals' worth of food. Would return when in the neighborhood. Nothing fancy on the inside."
"This place is so sweet great food a gem in Oklahoma!!!! Very small town, Italian family. Love this place!"
"One of my favorite spots in town, don't think I have had a meal here that was not delicious. You cannot go wrong here. I really like the humus here it is my favorite in town! The plates are my go to going back and forth between the chicken kabab or the beef kafta, the chicken is well seasoned with an interesting marinade that makes it very unique around town and is delicious with rice, all when I am looking for something on the healthier side its a good go to. The gyro and fires is a good option too, really good portion size too. The couple that run the restaurant are super friendly which just makes the place good. There are some good looking burgers on the menu but I really like the plates here so that has been my go to, especially because of how much I like that Humus!"
"Food: 2/2Service: 2/2Ambiance: 1/1My hubby and I are in town due his work. We love Greek food and decided to give this place a try!! And we are so happy we did! I ordered the Gyro plate, and my hubby ordered the Kalal plate. The food was so good, we stopped talking!! lol If you are in the need of a Greek food fix, come here! You won't be disappointed.."
"I adore this place! I have been here many times and I had to right a review but every time I stop by to eat here it never fails to impress me. Their menu is very refreshing because it is really hard to find Mediterranean in Oklahoma let alone good Mediterranean too. I always try to get something new when I visit and so far I've had the scallops, skirt steak, lamb and chicken screwers. The skirt steak is my favorite but the others are great as well. The restaurant is very nice inside and I enjoy the fact that they have a patio to sit on as well. The service and staff are always really friendly which is also why we come back!"
"The sticky shandong salmon bowl was great. The salmon, the rice, the sauce with pickled apples sooo tasty."
"Great breakfast and kind staff. Very relaxed atmosphere and very clean. I was looking for a place have a laid back, not rushed breakfast and Madison's was great!"
"I love this place. It's inexpensive, the atmosphere isn't the best, but the food and staff are amazing. I take my mom here when I'm in town. Their appetizers, hummus, pita bread and all breakfast items are consistently fantastic. Every time. Really great food for a low price. I'd pay more.Years later, food is still superb! Tried a dozen items on the menu and each one is wonderful"

The Jumbo Hamburgers are nothing short of incredible! The patties are perfectly juicy and packed with flavor, while the toppings are fresh and abundant. Each bite is a delicious explosion, and the brioche bun holds everything together beautifully. The portion sizes are generous, leaving you fully satisfied. This place clearly knows how to craft a burger! Highly recommend for any burger lover--definitely coming back for more!

We've been wanting to try this place for a long time because we love Mediterranean food. We were not disappointed! The food is authentic and delicious. The portions are huge and we had enough to take home for another meal.We had the Saffron combo with chicken, gyro, and ground beef. All were well prepared, came with delicious sides, and had good sauces. Tabouli and Tatziki were wonderful. The service was very good and the place has a nice ambiance. The manager spoke with us and asked a few questions about our impression of the place. We will definitely return and we will tell our friends about this nice place.

Great little place in East Tulsa.Found myself on South Mingo today and remembered Alfred's. It was a little after noon, so lunch was on my mind.Entered the place, and was greeted quickly by I suppose, the owner.Quickly glanced at the menu and went with the Mediterranean Platter. While waiting on my order I browsed the various spices, herbs and other offerings the place provides. Honestly, there's some pretty diverse stuff available, and I will be making a trip back to fill a few odd holes in my pantry stores.Food arrived very quickly, as you would expect. Don't let the looks fool you... this place delivers some great food. Not sure what it is with tabouli, but it seems you either get wheat with parsley added, or you get parsely with wheat added, with not much in the middle. Alfred's leans more to the parsely w wheat added, but it's still a great offering. Tart, flavorful and a great complement to the rest of the plate. The hummus is smooth and subtle in flavor. I could probably nosh my way through a gallon of this stuff.Rice was cooked perfectly, and I mean PERFECTLY. Not sticky, light and fluffy. The gyro meat was plentiful and very well prepared. There was more than enough for a good lunch portion. Served on the side was a nicely done yogurt sauce that just rounded out the entire plate.Looking forward to making my next trip back and sampling other items.

Love love loveeeee! Our waitress was super friendly and had great recommendations. Their hummus? Wonderful. The dolmes? Great. The tzaziki? So good. We got gyros. A friend got their rice which was herby and flavorful. We got a dolmes appetizer AND a side because my husband is obsessed. All of us also got their teas which are served in a French press like device. Very flavorful and pleasant. Will be back if ever visiting again!

"Very tasty! Good tabouli and gyro with rice. The hummus was ok. Super nice people. I recommend!"
"Food is great here. The Falafel is the best I've had in the area by far. Owner and staff were all very nice. They make pretty much everything from scratch. The hummus and baba ghanoush are delish. Everything I've had from here was yummy!"
"While visiting OKC for business, I wanted something easy I could pick up. I tried placing an online order but had some issues, so I gave the restaurant a call and they were great. Food was ready in 10 minutes. After looking through the menu, I couldn't make up my mind, so what did I do? I went for the sampler platter! Let me tell you, good thing I took a photo of the food before digging in because I destroyed the entire thing. The sampler came with rice, tender chicken kabobs, beef kafta, a cabbage roll, a side of tabouleh, and a side of delicious hummus. Oh, and a pita too! Everything was very well seasoned and plain delicious. If it weren't because I like exploring various restaurants while I travel, I'd be a regular at Nunu's. Great Mediterranean/Lebanese food!"
"We went on a super busy second night of their soft opening. They handled the crowd very well! This is an elevated fast/cas place so you order at the counter and then find a seat. The staff could not have been more helpful! We nabbed two seats at the bar and tried a house marg. I was so impressed with the food. The chicken shawarma was so tasty and tender. The tabbuleh was good. I usually don't like it overly parsleyed- up but I did like this version. (Know it's more herbs than bulgar.) The falafel shawarma was delicious!! Those pickled turnips added just the right amount of acidity to the wrap. I ordered my hummus with half pita chips and half bread. The pita bread is quite thick but very tasty (especially with the Meddy's olive oil and za'atar). Definitely planning a return visit and wish them the best!!! Seriously great staff!!!"
"Very delicious gyro, it was different from the one we usually get, but I liked that the meat was well seasoned and the vegetables were very well seasoned too. The red potatoes were very tasty and the dessert was perfect. We took it to go but we are already planning on coming back next week to sit and enjoy the place. Ambiance was very nice. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, I'm glad I found another good restaurant."
"Ali Baba has slowly becoming my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in Tulsa for many different reasons. I love their combination kabob platter. Yes, the chicken kabob can be dry at times but the seasoning on their chicken is SO good. It has more of the zesty, lemon flavor than at any other places which taste DELICIOUS to me. Ali Baba has the best kabobs in the business. Ali Baba offers 6% cash back through Upside. Whenever I get food here, I get an automatic 6% discount, making the food even more affordable. The quality of their food is very consistent, at least the combination kabob platter. I had it three times already and the food was fantastic every time.Delicious kabobs, offers discounts, consistent quality...I feel like this is enough features for a 5 stars restaurant."
"I ordered ahead of time on the app. My salad bowl was waiting for me and it was delicious. The staff seemed fine but I didn't interact with any of them. The dinning area seemed mostly clean except my table felt that sort of sticky/griminess you get in a kitchen"
"I don't live in Oklahoma but I attend conferences a few times a year here. Every single time, I will ALWAYS stop here. The food is mouthwatering, the service is exquisite, no loud music just a nice relaxed vibe. I pray this business continues and I will continue to be a repeat customer."
"Go on Wednesdays! You won't regret it! They make Greek Lasagna and only on Wednesdays! Other days, go for their gyro platters! Cafeteria ordering style line - avoid the steamed veggies as they appear canned and floating in a tub of water. Get extra hummus or tabouli (which is fabulous) instead. Gyro platter is always tasty! They are only open for lunch so plan accordingly."
"This is one of those local hidden gems you kinda want to keep to yourself but also you want everyone you know to know, that you know about this place. This Mediterranean grill and market is among my favorites in Tulsa. They have a small grocery store set up inside past the counter where you order and it has mostly imported goods from over seas. From lentils to dates they have e a selection of Mediterranean fare. SMy experience with food here so far has been with sandwiches (gyros and schwarma) and stuff like hummus or babaganoush. The service here is great and the prices are reasonable. Come check it out!"
"My sister and brother in law took my parents and I here for lunch before Thanksgiving while we were in town visiting. They're menus differ from lunch to dinner. Our waiter was good, and he suggested one of the 2 dishes that interested me. I enjoyed "The tour of Mythos", which had a variety of Greek items. The meal included a salad, which was great. We also ordered 2 "Spicy feta dip's". Let me say, everyone @ the table went wild over over this appetizer. It was absolutely amazing. Everyone loved their food, and I had a bunch of leftovers from my meal. It is a definite "go to" place if you're in Joplin."
"This place is a little off the beaten path and hard to get in and out of, but it's been here for 20 years worth the driveOnly open 10 to 3 each day but busy . Food comes out fast and it is delicious. Ventilation could be a little bit better as I smell like Shawkats when I leave."
"Wonderful atmosphere, Lebanese music, outdoor eating and delectable food! I hadn't eaten such good Middle Eastern food since I was in Beirut in 1994."
"Such a hidden gem! So lucky to have such a great little dining experience in Owasso. Very good and a must try!"
"Excellent, simple, delicious food with great service! I had the chicken kabobs with bruschetta and my wife had the same with tabouli. Both came with rice and pita and they were delicious. Chicken is lightly marinated and cooked perfectly! Perhaps the best and freshest bruschetta in town!"
"I discovered this place through DoorDash and a $10 off offer.Craving some home cookin' so I ordered.Guys, guys, guys.... best fried chicken EVER. BBQ ribs... phenomenal. Wonderful BBQ sauce with a little kick. I wasn't crazy about the baked beans or coleslaw but everyone has very different opinions on what makes those sides yummy. Chili is excellent. Definitely something for everyone!Excellent quality, BIG servings!"
"We wanted to try something different after church and I had a hankering for a gyro, so we tried this out, and were pleasantly surprised.Unassumingly nestled in a strip mall off of 41st, this little restaurant surprised us with its freshness and flavors. Of particular note is their meat is Hamal certified, ethically killed and butchered making it acceptable for all Muslims to eat. It was evident in the gyro meat because it was juicy and tender with a wonderful seasoned flavor.Momma had the plate which was meat over rice and a choice of sides (hummus, tabouli, and grilled veggies) and I had the gyro platter with fries and a drink. The fries are hand cut in house, peppered but not over seasoned. They were delicious. We had a great visit with the owner and learned about everything from Hamal, his cooking to kids at TU. It was a great visit and he made made us feel like family."
"I use to love coming here, but their pricing went up and the portions got smaller. They only give you a few fries (maybe 10) then only enough sauce for two bites. They'll charge you $0.50 plus tax for an additional sauce. Looks like I won't be coming back. The food is good and fresh, but I want to get my monies worth. Had great service the very first time I came, but it has gone down since."
"After hearing a lot of good vibes about Balkan Bites, I had it on my list. The Wife and I were heading into town to Chopsticks for some takeout, and I decided to buzz by BB and try them out.SO glad I did.Knowing that we were already planning on Chinese for dinner, I went light with the 10pc Cevapi. Holy cow these things are good. The meat was perfectly seasoned cooked and served. Not knowing what I was asking for, the gentleman in the truck offered small samples of both the cream cheese spread and the roasted pepper spread. Both were out of this world good, so I got both. I also didn't realize you essentially get a sandwich with the little links in the middle.... So I would up with quite a meal already. I nibbled on the links all the way to Chopsticks and all the way home. I will definitely be back for the Balkan Burger. And the guys in the truck... so nice and friendly. Their card reader was out when it came time to pay, and I had left home with no cash on me.... so the guy told me to come back again and just pay when I come back. As much as I appreciated that offer and sense of customer service, I stopped at an ATM for a quick cash infusion and dropped by on the way home to make good on the bill. These are the kinds of places I love to see take hold. Good food, great people... it's what it's all about."
"Chicken piccata was awesome! Very friendly staff, very nice ambiance. They have a salad bar as well. They also have lunch specials that our waitress told us about. Highly recommend this spot!"
"Love love all Taziki locations. Food is always so reliably fresh. The tomato cucumber salad keeps me coming back. Their soups are underrated, always get soup. Prices are a bit high for counter service but quality is tops. Our favorites are the pastas and hummus and gyros. The Greek salads are extremely good. Like the vibe here, feels like a Marriott lobby. Very relaxed. Wish there were no televisions however."
"I know this restaurant has been in Edmond for years, my first time here. Great food and service, I forgot to take the picture of Baba Ghanoush, like he said, best in town. Best lentil and roasted pepper soup I ever had."
"This is a hard review to write because my wife and I disagree on this place. My review: it's ok. I'd give it a 2-star. First, it is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay (i dont have enough 'A's') overpriced for what you get. Portions are far too small for $15/person. Also, I don't really like the flavor of the food. I like Mediterranean, but Cava is trying to be something beyond this and not just stick to traditional Med. flavors. The chicken is fine and the salad is fresh, but the 3-4 bowls I've had just lack any kind of excitement. Just bland to me. Finally, the staff are mostly friendly. My wife's review: so yummy. Flavors are super tasty. I love the size bowl. Not to big, not to little. Perfect for me, and occasionally for me to split with my hubby (even if he doesn't like it as much as I do ... at least he'll take me the Cava, because he loves me). The staff is mostly friendly. So, 4-stars, not 5, because the prices are (as my husband wrote) waaaaaaaaay over priced. So, we won't come to Cava very often. I (hubby) will only go if my wife really wants me to go with her, but I'll usually just have her go with her friends. Oh, yeah .... the ambiance: feels like a nicer McDonald's (or like the new nice Mc's that are popping up). Nothing special, but clean-ish (although it was hard to find a clean table last time I went). So, recommended by my wife, but not so much by me. That's probably confusing, but there it is."
