From the amazing food, (bones on toast, duck quesadilla, bass, filet mignon, and even the espresso Panna cotta) but also to the AMAZING service we received from Kelly. She was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel so comfortable about asking questions and exploring food we have never tried. Not only all of that but the ambiance and vibes you get there are PERFECT. Dark but not too dark, cozy and just so comfortable. We will be back for our special occasions! 15/10"

Sara F. "The service and food were great. We were greeted and offered suggestions. The bread and butter came first--fresh, delicious and sweet. We ordered apps, salad and Lobster Bisque to share. We loved the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese and jams. The crab cakes were full of crab and flavor. The flavors of the salad also worked well together. The Lobster Bisque was very rich so it wasn't our fave but worth a try if you like a rich buttery taste. Prices were reasonable for the caliber of food received and seemed in line with other restaurant pricing. The only odd thing or deterrent was a male at one of the tables literally chased after people if the got up from their table to leave without their mask on. We're also mask conscious but these people had seemed to make an honest mistake (I.e. ate dinner with it off and just got up). The male was aggressive and shaming in his approach and made the dinner uncomfortable. It appeared he was the owner or had some tie to the restaurant since the wait staff appeared embarrassed or unable to intervene. Note: Sanitizer and social distancing (also Covid recommendations) were better practiced at the breakfast restaurant we went to."

Thomas S. "Staying at the Hampton Inn in the brickyard area of Oklahoma City, I needed a close place for carryout. Looking at the reviews on Yelp, this place looked good. As I walked next door to the place from Hampton Inn I noticed there were a lot of scooters around - probably the transportation of choice for bar hoppers. The inside is wide open and the bar is built around a center U-shaped bar. They feature live music, but I was too early for that, and I was here for the food. There was seating at the bar open, and the bartender was serving up cocktails and beer (all bottles and cans, no taps). I was in my element, so I ordered a beer and proceeded to look at the menu. There was a pretty good selection, and the bartender was helpful with suggestions. I went for the pizza which she said was brick oven baked hand tossed. That sold me, so I ordered up sausage, pepperoni, and extra cheese. They're all one size by the way. I had enough time to grab a cold bottle of beer as I waited. And after it it came out, the super helpful bartender set me up with every I needed to take it to go. So I took it back to my hotel room and got back to some homework. The pizza was extremely good, and left me more than enough for breakfast the next day (good thing the room I stayed in had a fridge). Bottom line: I loved the Bricktown area, the Fuel Bar & Grill had friendly service, it was a great place for food, the beer was cold, and the music was good!"

Ray N. "I made my first trip in here in January 2020 and I regret having not stopped in sooner! This is small for a bowling center but the cool factor delivers in a BIG way! If this is your first time in a couple highlights here:1. they have only six lanes for open bowling. Make plans accordingly.2. They offer a private bowling room with 2 additional lanes that can be rented out by the hour.3. Full service bar - the drink offerings are amazing and have some great local craft beer on tap.4. Food - some pretty delicious food offerings are available and what I sampled was surprisingly delicious! From when you walk in the front door and in to the back of the house your welcomes in this classsic old school bowling alley vibe. It has modern equipment and scoring but it's set up like you're back in the 70s!! The staff working when my party was there were all very friendly and attentive and that makes for a great experience. One highlight for me that I have to mention are the punchbowls! These huge drinks are boozy and delicious and totally made for sharing. I recommend trying all 3 but maybe not all in one sitting! I look forward to visiting again and hanging out at this Blue Dome District hot spot."

Ron H. "The place is fun to find, especially in the dark. That wasn't sarcasm. Great place on the inside. Spencer was a good waiter. He may have been a little bit too excited, didn't read the table well, but he did a great job with everything but refilling the drinks. Everything there is slow. Reservation @ 7, sat @ 7:15. No menus for at least 30 minutes & the drinks probably take 20. The soup probably took 10 minutes, it was okay & the worst part of the meal. The place wouldn't be so hard to get a seat at if you could get in & out in under an hour, hour 15. Everyone was wonderful. I keep reading that the food was good, but not great & overpriced. I have to disagree. Maybe it's the fact that you wait an hour before getting your food, but the steaks are super tender & juicy. It was of the better steaks I've ever had. The potato dish was also one of the best potato dishes I've ever had. I kept asking for a dessert menu, but the check came instead. I did mention that it was my birthday so I got two small chocolate pieces & champagne. It was fine, but I was still hungry for whatever reason & would have bought a real desert. I thought it was reasonably priced for what I got. From what I heard I thought it would be double what I paid. The ambiance was terrific, but have some subjects to talk about ready because you'll be waiting & waiting & waiting. I almost wish there were TVs. Is it worth being patient? Yes, if you're not super hungry."

I accept all brunch, lunch and dinner dates! The Vast was easy to find just the parking situation downtown is a thing. I didn't see anyone out for the valet so there's that but I still saw fit to give them five stars. Why????? Well, it's the food of course and boy was it delicious I had salmon, chicken, steak, potatoes, glazed carrots, cream brûlée, mango cheesecake and yup salad. The wine was okay for $14 small pour but again the star of the show was the food, company I keep (loved ones and friends), the service and the view! The vibe was stellar! They have pool leagues that go on, pool tournaments and such. I'm not much of a pool player but I like the laid back vibes here. As far as food goes, it's very tasty but it's slow. Don't come here if you're starving because you'll need to wait 10-20 minutes for service and then that long if not longer for the food. In the 6 years I've been stopping by I've just come to know what I'm walking into when I come here. If you come in knowing pull be in a laid back spot then great, come on down. Its not 5 stars for service and it's a five spot but their burgers and food are good and If you're looking to kick back and enjoy the slow pace then absolutely I would recommend it. It's not smokey and it's fun to chill at for some beers and pool."

Stanley W. "In my early years, I've spent countless hours at internet cafes playing PC games, so I was happy to find Waypoint Lounge from another yelpie! First of all, the venue is tastefully decorated. Typically cafes like these look like a dark dungeon, where your social life outside of games go to die. A giant screen sat in the center of the venue with the football game on and various places to sit. They have consoles, PCs, and boardgames to play.We visited during happy hour so drafts were $3 and I believe food was discounted as well, but we didn't get to try. We opted to play PC games, which as you know, PCs could be quite glitchy and I had to switch to another computer. One hot tip to know beforehand! If you are not well versed in today's PC games (which I haven't been for more than a decade), you have to register for accounts like Steam, Epic Games, and Riot Games to access their game library, but that eats away the time that you purchased to use the PCs, so I would register for those accounts at home so you don't waste time. On top of that, Steam gets especially buggy and so I got booted a few times playing Counter-Strike.Other than the gaming platform issues, this place is perfect for groups as well. We saw some families holding some sort of gathering there and the food looks pretty good too.Waypoint Lounge is a little far, but it's worth a trip checking it out. The people there are nice, so we will be back, but next time, we'll probably try the consoles."

I'd always wanted to come here, so I figured now was as good a time as any. The interior is about what one would expect for a divy-ish (but clean) neighborhood bar and there was a decent group of people already sitting together. I enjoy coming to these neighborhood joints, albeit sometimes I feel like a bit of an outsider, not knowing anyone in a place where everyone else is familiar with each other, but I usually always have an enjoyable experience, and this time was no different. The prices here are great! ***My 16oz OK+ PBR was a mere $2***Might I add it was the perfect price for the last $3 cash I had on me---speaking of---it's a **CASH ONLY** bar. So come prepared, but there's an on-site ATM if you forget. Even while sitting by myself in a booth (witting this review) they handed me a shot and notified me that a gentleman bought a round for the bar to toast to a child they all know who they just found out has leukemia. I thought this was a very generous gesture, and raised my glass in honor of the moment. It's places like this that I feel make the local Oklahoma neighborhood bar scene unique. While we may not always know each other, we can always raise a glass in solidarity to honor those deserving and even help deserving folk when we may not even know their name. I'd recommend Carousel for happy hour, drinks out, hanging with friends, or riding solo just to see what kind of people you may meet here in our great state."

Jahaziel H. "This is such a fun and unique event venue! It has been opened for less than a year so a lot of people still don't know about it. I attended a holiday party and was blown away by the creative and colorful space. It is inside Tulsa's Performing Arts Center. I was lucky to find parking on third street so I walked through the main doors. You have to go left and walk all the way down the hall to find the lounge. There was clear signage and helpful staff guiding the way. Right outside, there's an interesting timeline on the wall. As you enter, there's a wide open space with a dance floor in the middle. You know you're in a unique space when your eyes don't know where to start exploring and you want to just take it all in. The space had been a black box since the 70s and the idea came up to turn it into a space that would generate revenue for the PAC trust. The one of a kind space was designed by Christopher Murphy. His inspiration was the lavish Studio 54 in NYC, a historic venue and cultural icon that was a nightclub in the 70s and now is a theater. I wasn't familiar with it but as soon as I looked it up, the theme made sense. It was known for its opulent interior design with walls covered in metallic fabrics and ornate art installations throughout it. The disco era wallpaper in the north wall was imported from Germany. Bianca and Truman (the horse lamps!) are so fun. I wish the pictures did them justice (apparently Jagger rode a white horse inside Studio 54). The capacity is 150 on the main floor and 50 on the mezzanine depending on seating arrangement. There's a full service bar, sound system, baby grand piano, lighting effects, small stage, and on staff event planner. You can submit booking inquiries on their website."

This is the underground bar lounge below Duet Restaurant, formerly knows as Duet Jazz Club, in the historic Archer building. Now it's under a new name and it has come back better than ever! The space itself was created as a listening room so the acoustics are amazing. It has a speakeasy vibe with low ceilings, lifting and tons of ambiance. It is also very intimate, full capacity is 100 (including staff, musicians, performers, etc.). This makes it perfect for live music (mostly jazz, instrumental, soul, folk, but also salsa and more!) stand up, jam sessions, mic nights and other special performances. This also means you should look at their event calendar online and get tickets to the shows you want to attend to beforehand online. You don't want to get turned away or have to wait for someone to leave to get in! They have a great selection of drinks and food items as well.
