The rice is cooked perfectly and an excellent compliment, the steamed vegetables and salad are both reasonable and the portion size is correct. I would favor one of the bowls over the plate. "My husband has loved Del Rancho Chicken Fried Steak sandwich since college. There are no Del Rancho's near so so we hadn't been in awhile. We were driving home from Dallas and saw the one in Moore so decided to stop. We only got sandwiches and not fries or any other sides. The steak sandwich was huge. I got the smaller version of the chicken sandwich and was glad I did. It was plenty of food for me. My chicken sandwich was really good. Very crispy and juicy. I liked the seasoning in the crust. I tasted my husbands chicken fried steak sandwich and it was amazing. Next time we go, I will for sure get the chicken fried steak sandwich. It was sooo tender. Now that we know where a Del Rancho is, we will be stopping in as often as we can. It brought back lots of memories from our college days."

But they run killer deals all week that make this a great place to feed a big family fast. Drive thru still takes too long, picnic tables out front are still deteriorating. Inside a sardine can. But I can't be mad with Dr. Pepper like that!****ORIGINAL: After a couple of visits I've decided food is just too cheaply made here, too simple, flavors below average. Fry bread in their Indian taco was thin and dense, too chewy. When it should be lighter and pillowy. Coneys are small and cheap tasting, processed bun, boring chili, dyed red hot dogs taste like children's franks. I'd rather have a sorry gas station hot dog. Corn dogs are Foster Farms, honey breaded, cooked well which I like, but still nothing special. Drive thru takes forever here, even with no cars. Two wood picnic tables out front are worn out and sagging. How about an overhead fan outside for the hot summer days? Dining room inside is tiny with narrow tables with no elbow room.Most recent visit the big fella cooking turned and stared expressionless at us while food sizzled on the flat top..no smile, no words, until my husband noticed and broke the ice. It was weird. Not sure what his problem was. But I took off a star for it. Creeeepy."

"I have visited this place since I was a kid (my mom grew up in Tulsa and she also has visited since she was a kid). I loved their previous places - one was next to a bar with cool old glass bricks. The school desks have been a fixture, no matter where their location has been. These are cool but the average adult may be too big for them. The location on Boulder now has regular chairs and counter seats. As with all food places (restaurant, grocery stores, etc) prices have increased. Their 3 coney and drink special is now over $8. They now offer different specials - like 2 coneys, chips and a drink. They also offer tamales, frito chili pie, chili fries, chili spaghetti, and of course, chili to-go!Back at their small location, I saw a customer bring in a rectangle tupperware container and order about 10 coneys to take home. Their chili is similar to Cincinatti chili (fine grind (no chunks) with a hint of cinnamon or chocolate) and their cheese is also very fine (more crumbled than shreds)"

"Del Rancho is an Oklahoma classic. It's so nostalgic to be greeted by old school diner vibes, and you make your order on an old phone at the table! People say it's the best chicken fried steak around. We like to stop in to the Tahlequah location after a river trip because they are always so accommodating, and the food comes out quick, hot, and fresh. Fabulous milkshakes! And the fry bread puffs are amazing."

Next time, I'll ask that the bleu cheese be left off as I didn't realize it had bleu cheese on it. It was still very good.My companion got the Antipasto salad and liked it. She said it was greasy and wonderful - the grease, of course, came from the fatty salami and the oily olives. It was filling and crunchy and had lots of toppings, and filled her antipasto craving.It's out of my way in a part of town I rarely get to, but it's super close to my companion's home and workplace, so she'll go by more often.For a fast and delicious drive through salad and drink, they are excellent."

"My husband picked up dinner for us from here for the first time recently. He had the turkey club and I had the chef salad with Italian dressing. Don't let the plaines of the restaurant for you. I am pretty sure this is the best sub sandwich and chef salad I've had in Tulsa. The bread was fresh soft and unbelievably delicious. Which I came to learn they bake their bread every morning as well as slice all of their meats and veggies every morning and afternoon by hand. Needless to say, you get the absolute freshest sub and salad. They pile your sandwich with meat and plenty of bacon. My chef salad was huge!!! They also don't cheat you on anything here. Prices are super cheap for the amazing quality food and the amount you get. We're never going to Which Wich or Firehouse again. We are officially Bill & Ruth's fans!!"

On this last visit, my wife ordered an Original Italian, and I got the Club Supreme! The store is small, but has enough seating, as long as there aren't too many people dining-in. It's VERY clean, and the staff is pleasant. Since they slice everything to order, it does take a little longer than other shops, but it's worth it. Today, there was quite the line, and with only 2 people on staff, it was taking a while to get everything made. Great sandwiches, a little more expensive than other places, but I think you get a better sandwich. Highly recommended."

They have many delicious choices of chicken and side items plus you get a roll or a biscuit. The rolls are very good. This time I tried the spicy chicken strips and they were so good! Hot, fresh and fast! I ended ordering okra and mashed potatoes and gravy but the corn poppers and fried pickles also sound so good! Next time I will try one of those. They have dipping sauce.
