"First time here for our anniversary. I like the look of the place. We arrived early for our reservation and they went ahead and seated us. We started with a bottle of wine: Bella Glos Pinot Noir it's one we enjoy. Started off with crab crakes and they were yummy! The waiter had a large table so we didn't get the order taken for a little while. I got the 7oz filet w garlic compound butter and he got the 10oz filet with truffle compound butter both were very good! Sides were asparagus and au gratin potato's. The potato's were perfectly cooked and the potato's oh my, so delicious! Some of the best I've had. We then got the dolce de leche and it was super delicious. Don't get this confused with tres leche cake, it's not a cake. Everything was pretty great!"

I'd never been there before and was impressed with my first steps inside.We were seated at our table very quickly and our drink order was taken right away, after a few minutes looking at the drink menu. That menu is an impressive 21 pages and has a table of contents so you can find what you're looking for. I always order something I can't get at home or find anywhere else. I had the Shifting Tides cocktail, which was very good.My meal order was the 6 oz Prime Filet, medium, with the Seared Sea Scallops. The sides were Garlic Smashed Potatoes, Haricots Vert (string beans), and Herbed Butter. I selected the Vineyard 29 Napa Valley Cab Sav to accompany this extraordinary meal. OH MY, the steak was cooked to perfection and absolutely tender.Our whole group felt so pampered, which is what we're looking for in fine dining.The wait staff was always there, without being interruptive, and helped us with good descriptions of our meals and wines.They really live up to what their website says, "Where going out means GOING ALL OUT."Sorry I didn't take any pictures of our meals. For this occasion, we made a dinner reservation at The Chalkboard as they offer shuttle service for some events at the BOK and we had concert tickets.All of the staff were so helpful and attentive! Our hostess got us all set up for the shuttle and our waiter made the best dinner recommendations, including ordering half salads that were plenty when paired with a shared app and dessert!If you haven't been to The Chalkboard in a while, be sure to stop in and see the "refreshment" they have given the interior or enjoy the covered porch with a retractable roof!"
"My wife and I decided to enjoy some barbecue for my birthday. Since we recently attended an event at Oklahoma Joe's, we wanted to enjoy the front of house experience. After entering the front door, you walk to the right up to the order area. There we were greeted by a friendly lady that took our order and provided us a number along with drink cups. The soda fountain is located in the dining room where you have a selection of Pepsi products. I opted for water. The restaurant has music playing in providing a relaxing atmosphere. We found a table by a window and the food arrived quickly to our surprise. My wife had the two meat (pulled pork and hot links) dinner and I had the brisket dinner. I had the cole slaw and baked beans. Everything on my plate was prepared to perfection as was the food on my wife's plate too. Unfortunately, we didn't save room for dessert. However, don't pass up the cherry bread pudding if you have room. It is very delectable and worth every consumable calorie. Should you want great barbecue, come to Oklahoma Joe's and you will not be disappointed."

"I ate at the Shiloh's Restaurant on N. Aspen in Tulsa on Friday evening, 3 November, and again on Sunday afternoon, 5 November. My meals were two of the best home-style restaurant meals I've ever had. I had the roast beef platter on Friday - incredible. The homemade mashed potatoes, rolls, gravy, and beef were out of this world. And the portion was very large. I left stuffed.But not stuffed enough to forego eating there again on Sunday, to celebrate an early Thanksgiving dinner with my son. The Sunday turkey dinner special included a large portion of baked turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, dressing, cranberry relish, and one more side. Another incredible meal, and the homemade pecan pie alamode we had for dessert was the best I've every had, and I bake!From the owners, Leonora and Jose', to the host, John, to our server both times, Evelita, everyone was amazingly friendly and did everything possible to make us feel welcome and wanted. I walked in a stranger and went out with new friends. Great food, attentive service, reasonable prices, and a comfortable quiet restaurant with ample parking and clean restrooms - that's what you'll get at Shiloh's!Thank you Evelita and everyone! I will be back the next time I'm in Tulsa."

The food here is always tasty. I love their fajitas. The lunch specials are big and priced right. They have plenty of salsas upon request. Service was excellent. This restaurant smells like a gas station bathroom. The mural on the wall is very unique.

We took our grandsons to dinner at Benvenuti's in Norman and experienced a lovely dinner. When I think of Italian cuisine, I normally don't think of Norman, OK, but Benvenuti's has created a paradigm shift in my thinking.Benvenuti's is definitely some of the best Italian food that you will find in the OKC metroplex. The decor speaks of eloquence. It is rich, charming and comfortable.Complimentary bread, warm butter and olive oil are served. The bread looked like a cibatta roll, but the texture is different than what I'm used to, but it's very good.We started with fried calamari and farnarnia. The calamari was very ordinary. Totally uninspired and bland. We also ordered Farnarnia. Oh my, the farnarnia was to die for. We should have ordered two farnarnia's and skipped the calamari.I ordered lasagna, and was very pleased. The best lasagna I've ever ate. It was hearty, rich, tasteful, just delectable. Loved it being served in a bowl, sitting in sauce. My wife ordered chicken picatta and it was excellent. However, it was served with mashed potatoes which came as a surprise. Must not have read the menu close enough.The service was good, the prices are on the high end of Moderate. My Lasagna was $20 and the chicken picatta was $24. The appetizers were $12 each. The noise levels were acceptable, and the restrauant was busy.We're looking forward to going back..

It's not that Ranch Steakhouse is bad, it's just that it's not a consistent steakhouse. In fact, it was the best steakhouse for me at one point but for the past few years it has not live up to my expectations, especially the most recent visit. I took a friend to Ranch Steakhouse for his belated birthday on 6/23/24. We ordered both of the daily specials, 35 days dry aged ribeye for $100 and 8 oz of wagyu filet for $240. The ribeye came out ZIZZLING hot on the plate. The middle of the steak initially had a slight pink but it self cooked to become well done very quickly. This was so far off from medium rare that I couldn't eat it. I had to trade it for my friend's wagyu filet which came out medium rare. We should have returned the ribeye because the cooking was the most off I have seen at a steakhouse. It was overcooked that some parts of the ribeye were burnt, crunchy, and salty. The worst part of all, we spent $484 plus the additional 20% tip for a pretty AVERAGE dinner. I expect exceptional steaks cooked to perfection, not overcooked steaks when spending that amount of money. Luckily, the bread was still as amazing as before. The same could be said about the rock shrimp. The drinks were great and the dessert was good. Asparagus spears were tiny. Don't know why they couldn't get bigger asparagus. Service was good as always. I've said it before and I will say it again, this will probably be my last visit, sadly, to the Ranch.

My boyfriend and I went after a workout and really enjoyed it!! Notes on the experience based on what we ordered:Irish Coffee was fire - 9/10Benedict was solid and great for biscuit lovers, a little thickkk for this girl but fire - might be better to get the sauce on the side to keep it crispier - 7/10The sweet potato fires were very crisp and flavorful 8.5/10Chicken and waffles was crispy with a nice balance of sweet and savoryChris notes - gravy made the waffles soggy a little too quickly, maybe better to get on the side next time - 8/10Home potatoes - like the chip shape and very flavorful but a little hard - 7.5/10Staff - extremely friendly and welcoming - 9.5/10Vibe - casual and rustic, felt very much like a country kitchen which was nice for a chill Saturday. More outdoor seating on such a nice day would have been great for the experience - 7/10Overall 8/10, was a great place with awesome food and very nice post workout BRONCH date!!

I love chalkboard! I have been coming since before they changed owners & i used to love the quiche! Not sure if they still serve it up but also their salads are delicious! To my knowledge everything is locally sourced & its always a vibe! Dim lights help me relax even more. Today i got the soup of the day and decided to add chicken on the side! The chicken was so flavorful & moist & juicy. Always a fan of this place their breakfasts are healthy & food is of quality

"I had heard that this was good pizza. I heard right!We had a birthday party for my granddaughter and she chose to have pizza as the food at the party. We had 18 adults and 9 children. Usually it's hard to find a pizza place that both parents and kids like but this was a perfect match for both. All of the pizzas from the cheese to the super supreme were outstanding. The crust had a nice garlic flavor. My favorite was the 3 meat pizza. It was delicious! We did three family meal deals which included cheese bread and a liter of soda with each one. So not only was the pizza delicious it was a good deal too. All of the parents and kids loved it. We will be using them for our future family and friend gatherings. Next time I'm going to try their calzones. The menu says they use ricotta cheese on them. Yummy!!Overall grade an "A". Good stuff! See you soon!!"
"I finally came back after 8 months of empty promises. A lot can change in 8 months, which can be good or bad. I am thrilled to say the change was not just good, it was great. It's statistically unlikely that everything on the menu at a restaurant is good but as long as you stick to the Thai food lane at Lisu, the odds are in your favor. They were able to improve the pad kee mao (drunken noodles), my favorite dish. The dish was great 8 months ago but it was oily. Well, not anymore my friend, the grease is now gone, and the texture of the flat noodles remained intact. If you are looking for a trendy or fancy restaurant, then this is not it. If you are looking for the best Thai food in Tulsa, Lisu IS..."IT" for me."

"I recently discovered this establishment while on work trips to Tulsa. My new work team has been coming here for a while and has established a very friendly relationship with the owner, Pablo, and his family. Although, really, it is Pablo and his family who make all their customers feel welcome and extremely well taken care of. As far as the food - it is absolutely delicious and authentic. The family is from the state of Jalisco, which is to Mexico as Texas is to the USA. I am proud that my dad and his family are from the same region. Pablo offers a dizzying selection of salsas - I have real salsa envy coming here and I definitely need to up my game at home. I have only had the same dish here twice (see pics) - and it is so good I will get it every time. My colleagues' meals, though, all look amazing and they all push my team to be a part of the Clean Plate Club every time. It can get very busy here, which is no surprise considering the quality of the food and the customer service. However there is some sort of a process problem inside and it takes way too long to get your coffee, gelato, breakfast items and there's a lot of inconsistency and how things are prepared from one person to the next. I ordered a coffee iced when I saw a beautiful one walking out. Mine came in regular paper coffee cup with the hot coffee lid and a stirrer as a straw. The one I saw went out with a dome lid, ice and a clear plastic glass with a normal straw. One taste and I actually left the coffee in the parking lot because it was nasty.The bagel breakfast sandwiches were good the other time we went, but we were the only people there and it took probably 20 minutes to get to bagel sandwiches. So there's an issue here I hope they resolve it because it's too good of a concept and location to be so amateur."

"I had been inside cookiedoodle before (mostly because it's connected to a little cafe type restaurant that I've been to a couple times) but had never ordered or tried anything from there. Well someone brought it to a recent meeting, and it's a game changer!So at the meeting was an assortment of cake pops, enough for everyone there to try one flavor. There was red velvet, oreo, caramel, chocolate, German chocolate, raspberry, strawberry, white wedding cake, and peanut butter. I wish I could have tried them all (especially in hindsight!), but I ended up grabbing the raspberry. I thought it might be a little more unique than just getting chocolate or something. Very happy with my choice!!! I realized I haven't really had a ton of cake pops in my lifetime, but I can say that this one was probably the best I've ever had... It was so delicious!!!!! The chocolate on the outside was yummy. It was nice and solid but was the kind that still kind of melts in your mouth. And then the cake on the inside was extremely moist (sorry for those who hate that word lol), almost to the point that it didn't even taste like cake! As I ate more and began to put my finger on what the texture was/ what it reminded me of, I realized that it was so gushy that it was almost like eating some kind of hybrid between cake and cookie dough. In that way, I guess it almost seemed like the cake wasn't super cooked, but in a good way, because obviously I really liked it. Plus, the raspberry flavor was so good. It was strong but not too powerful.Since I wasn't the one who paid for the treat, I don't know how expensive it was. Generally, I think little things like this can be overpriced and I'm (possibly wrongly) assuming that about these cake pops. After all, no matter how good it was, it's just a small cake pop. So for me at least, it can be really hard spending much money on something like that, like if a few cake pops is gonna be like $5 I think that's kind of a lot for what they are (but maybe that's just me and I sound too cheap). I tried looking on their website to find out the price, but cake pops weren't even listed there (??) so I really don't know what the bang for buck is and can't speak on that :/Anyway, literally just based on one single cake pop, I want to get more goodies from cookiedoodle.
