"It's been over 3 years since I've been here. As I get to know Tulsa a little better, I am beginning to understand why the "pho" here tastes the way it does. The "pho" broth tastes sweeter and a little saltier than the traditional Vietnamese "pho." Unfortunately, Tulsa does not have a large Vietnamese-American population compared to Oklahoma City. Thus the food here is cooked to mainly cater non-Vietnamese American populations who prefer sweeter and saltier broth. You could say, the "pho" here is being Americanized which is not necessarily bad as we have different palettes.So far to me, in Tulsa, the "pho" from Mekong River suits my palate in terms of taste. I really liked Việt Hương Restaurant but last time I went there, it was not open. I used to like Trang Le but have not been there in a while so can't remember. Have to try it again soon. The service here is good. They actually came by to check on you after bringing you your food. This usually does not happen at a "pho" restaurant, which is great. They put hot tea in a to go cup now. Previously it was in a teapot, 3 years ago. Hot tea in a tea pot just tastes better to me for some reason just like how sodas taste better in a glass bottle like the old days. One last thing, "pho" is a cheap and affordable food. It's also filling which make it one of my top recommended food."

"I used to go to Wahaha back in college circa 2009-2010 and remember loving this spot for Chinese food. I haven't been back until today (Saturday) for a late lunch! I was happy they had a daily special (included on weekends as well) that is only $7.50 - I got a spring roll, egg drop soup, steamed white rice and orange chicken. I also ordered the Taro milk tea, which was only $3.75 for a very large drink! The portion sizes are decent and not overwhelming which I love. Although the ambience was not the best (pretty grungy and run-down- but charming in it's own way, the service was great and staff friendly. I will probably return to try other items on their daily lunch special."

"A unique name for a Chinese restaurant but definitely one of the better Chinese food restaurants located in the area. We had fried potstickers (stick with the steamed) they were just ok. The sesame chicken was stringy and not very good. The broccoli beef was tasty and tender. The Kung Pao chicken was seasoned with red chili oil and had a nice "bite." The best dish surprisingly was the fried rice with beef. The rice was cooked perfectly and the beef was melt in your mouth tender. We would definitely come back again."

"This is top 3 Chinese restaurants for me in the Tulsa metro! Let's start with the food. It's kinda fancy for what it is. You can get some more run of the mill traditional dishes, or you can go all out here and get some dishes that are total eye candy and equally delicious. The ambiance is not the best, but it's welcoming. The last business was bright and vibrant and had southern fair. Not too many changes were made, but again it's comfortable but nothing to write home about. I've never had bad service here. My last trip in our server was incredibly attentive and friendly. We were checked on but not too much. There's a lot to be said for balance!! Overall, a top pick from me and I highly recommend!"

They were able to improve the pad kee mao (drunken noodles), my favorite dish. The dish was great 8 months ago but it was oily. Well, not anymore my friend, the grease is now gone, and the texture of the flat noodles remained intact. If you are looking for a trendy or fancy restaurant, then this is not it. "Yummy Yummy is the only place we tend to dine for Chinese food. Their food taste fresh, and we love the flavor. We tend to get the same items when we go, which are: crab Rangoon. We came in as a group of 10 people and had a great experience. 1. Shark fin with crab meat soup was good similar to other Chinese restaurants. If you have to get a soup, this is the one to get. 2. Chicken chow mein - I have never been a big fan of this dish, mainly of the "gooey" taste. It was alright so I guess if you like chow mein, you might enjoy it. 3. Chicken and salty fish fried rice - it was great. Had a different flavor which made it unique. This is the fried rice for adventurous individuals. 4. Chicken salad - my least favorite dish. Cold salad with a sour and salty taste. It was just not for me. 5. Fried fish - my favorite dish. They fish tasted great and fresh. There were a lot of bones so eating this would require some works. 6. Oysters with ginger and green onion - this was cooked oysters (steamed) with seasonings. It was good. Some oysters were fresher than others. 7. Lobster with ginger and green onion - it was delicious. Come on, it was lobster. 8. Snow pea tips stud fry - the salt was spotty. Some parts of the dish were really salty whereas some were not. It was a top pick for a vegetable stir fry. 9. Water spinach stir fry - the other top pick for a vegetable stir fry dish. It was great. Hard to recommend one over the other. Either one would be a good choice. Service was good. Restaurant was slower than the one on the northwest side of town."

The lumpia was really good with a sweet dipping sauce. They poked holes in the takeout container to prevent the lumpia from getting soggy. The pork was crispy & flavorful with the garlic rice being the surprising star of the show for my husband. I think it was a family ran food truck and everyone was really helpful & friendly. We showed the lady a picture of what we saw from a different review and she quickly identified it. It was fast service & someone else came out later to check on how we liked the food. We were also given some dumplings to sample! They're located in a small court with other food trucks. Great location when the weather is nice. They have picnic tables and yard games to play while you wait."

"This is my go to for delicious takeout Chinese food. This is a takeout restaurant only, they're open six days a week from 11:30 to 9:00-closed on Monday. Heard of my favorite, hot and sour soup. I'm Goliann beef, and the house lo mein which consist of chicken pork and shrimp, linguine style noodles and they're tasty sauce. They have family specials daily, combo specials and individual servings, starting with appetizers, soup, chicken, wings, and more. Overall the food is delicious, it's always in huge portions and you get it all at a very reasonable price. I'm okay with all of that.I normally call ahead and do carry out, but I recently dined in for the first time not long ago. In a post COVID world, it's nice to sit down and enjoy chinese food with full service. I feel like it was really hard to find for a while and I'm stoked it's back here. I'll definitely be doing it again as 1.) the food is always good 2.) it's kind of small so it's not crowded or loud, 3.) the service we got was excellent. There's nothing fancy about anything you get here, but ya know, it's rock solid, the folks work hard to make quality, yummy food and I am all about that life. This is a budget friendly, family friendly place. Is it Michelin star? No. But they are very popular because they do really well with a wide variety of Asian cuisines. Chinese, Thai, and Sushi at the same place? There's something for everyone. Is this the best sushi in Tulsa? No. But for the money it's very consistent. My personal favorite is their Massasman curry pot. Everyone else in the house gets sesame chicken, sushi, lo mein. Their egg rolls, appetizers and soups are great as well. Highly recommend their egg rolls, crab Rangoon and Miso soup."

We asked for level 3 spice (out of 5). My friend said his Pad Thai was delicious. The food was fresh, flavorful, and just enough spice mostly from the Thai basil. Big portion (I took more than half of it home) and very reasonable prices (total bill was $21). We also received complimentary spring rolls (our waitress said it was a special that night). The spring rolls were crispy and filled with vegetables with a plum sauce (3 in an order). We were a little concerned because the restaurant was empty at 7pm. The waitress said many people get dinner to go and during lunch "it's packed". Friendly service. I want to go back & try all the curries! The menu has a lot to choose from & again, great prices. They don't have a lot of business which is surprising because the hotpot here was super yummy and I'm sure the rest of the food is great. They gave you a huge stack of short ribs for an extra $2 which was worth it. The soup bases we got were Tom yom, and house spicy broth and they were flavorful. They had a large selection of meats, seafood and vegetables to choose from. We're definitely coming back."
