"bb.q Chicken has some of the tastiest and crunchiest wings I've eaten. The flavors we've tried (soy garlic, galbi, gangnam) all hit that perfect blend of sweet, savory, and spicy without going overboard on any one flavor. And the crispiness is off the charts - we've always taken our wings to-go and they've always magically remained crunchy. The bone-in wings aren't the only delicious things either - bb.q boneless wings manage to maintain a high level of quality by not resorting to dunking chicken nuggets in sauce, and the kimchi fried rice is perfectly spicy and complements the wings and daikon perfectly. I'm looking forward to stopping by again for dine-in because the seating area is large enough for bigger groups, plus I can only imagine how much tastier the food will be if I dine-in instead of taking it to-go. Every flavor I've tried so far has been great, I'm almost hesitant to branch out and try something new but I'm sure anything you get will be tasty (except maybe that cheesy one, idk how to feel about that yet - someone try it for me and report back). Outstanding! One of my favorite places to this year."

"Disclaimer: Charlie's Chicken was a childhood favorite of mine, and I like to stop by whenever I'm in Muskogee, including twice this past week. Highlights:-My favorite will always be the chicken chunks. The spicy ones are fine, but the original is the best in my opinion. -Mashed potatoes and gravy usually a grand slam. -The rolls. Get the rolls. Maybe just order some extra rolls and butter by itself. -Mac n cheese: They can keep this. It is always bland and not very flavorful -Service: This isn't really where you go if you are in a rush. The food is great when it's hot and fresh, which it was when I went last week but it was lukewarm when I went yesterday."

Called in our order to pick up, young man totally screwed it up when repeating it back to my wife, then he hung up on her. We went by to get our order, ready to leave and go up there today to kfc. I wished inn with my daughter, I tried to be polite.... Young Man welcomed me...l could tell by his voice her is the one who needed it up and hung up on my wife.... also could tell her was working hard and trying this best with what her had been given. 2 ladies helped get it all straightened out, we went home.... And I must say we were very surprised with the food. We ordered and recurrence family 12 piece mixed with 3 sides and 6 rolls. I must state this food was delicious!!! "If you are in the Joplin area and hungry for some late night, do yourself a favor and skip Applebee's and BWW and head to downstream. Legend's kitchen is open until midnight and the food and service is 100 times better than anywhere else in Joplin. Their brisket nachos are fantastic. The brisket is generously heaped on top of a white cheese sauce, tomatoes, green onions, etc and is always our go-to appetizer. For salad, the southwest chicken salad hits the spot. The only complaint we ever have about this salad is that there are so many toppings (onion straws, corn, bacon, cheese, tomato, chicken...) That you run out of salad mix before you eat all of the toppings! Their sandwiches are also delicious, our favorites are the Cuban (so....freaking....good), the Reuben, and the asiago chicken. For side dishes, the potato salad goes great with the Cuban, and their sweet potato fries are served with this phenomenal spicy-ish maple syrup dip that... I'm going to have to finish this review and go eat there now. If Alex is working the bar, you should sit there. He will take good care of you."

Hands-down, one of the best places/service I have ever received at a restaurant.From the moment I walked in, I was met with great hospitality from the hostess who immediately seated me and told me about my server. The place has original location charm written all over it! Within a matter of minutes, my server, Keesha, came over with a trainee server, Natasa. I asked for recommendations and was given them with thoroughness and kindness. Per Keesha's recommendations, I ended up ordering a sweet tea, small onion rings, two dark meat chicken thighs, one dark meat chicken leg, the German potato salad, German slaw, and mashed potatoes and gravy. Now if you're thinking, this is a lot of food you are correct. I obviously took some home (and it reheated well in the air fryer). Hands-down, the chicken thighs were the best chicken I've had in my life. Wonderful mix of flavor and crunch, so tender it was nearly falling off the bone. Masterful flavor. The German potato salad was a different consistency than I've seen, but the flavor was out of this world and so was the German slaw. It's nice and refreshing to see something like that on the menu that you don't see just anywhere. The ranch is homemade too! I was too full for dessert, but I would've stuck around and had some of that if not. Keesha and Natasa were so kind throughout the whole meal. We had conversation, they comforted me when I was having a moment, and I received a big hug. They are truly people with big hearts who care.I cannot stress enough to try chicken Mary's. If you have not, add it to your list and make the trip. It is worth it and you will not regret it. Please go see Keesha and Natasa and give kudos to the young chef in the kitchen as well!"

We had our dog with us, so I ran in and placed a to-go order. 2 buffalo cheeseburgers, 1 order of fries, 1 order of onion rings, 1 plain buffalo patty (for the pup) and one chocolate chip cookie (I saw the dessert case and the waves of temptation washed over me). Burgers and onion rings are excellent and not greasy which was appreciated! Fries were a bit bland. The cookie was great! The waitress told me all desserts are homemade except the cheesecake and you can tell by the look and taste. Very clean-looking establishment, and the waitress who took my order was beyond friendly. There are shelves of local or almost-local jams, peppers, and honey if you feel like bringing home an edible souvenir. My only gripe - the place is HUGE, but no outdoor seating of any kind. Not even some picnic tables. When you're taking a long road trip, it's nice to sit outside on nice days - not totally uncommon to see this in a "rest stop" type of area. Definitely worth the stop if you are along the way!"

It's SMOKEY, CHEESEY, SEASONED and overall wonderful. Some would call it 'slop' as it's put into a tinfoil tray with whatever protien you order with it and OH NO, the foods inside touch! It happens. It's okay, I promise. If that's not your thing, maybe you can request individual foods per tray. There you go! PROBLEM SOLVED! :) The day I went in, I got hot wings with my life changing mac and when those powers combine, I felt like I was limitless in my ability to conquer the rest of the day. Admittedly, the wings didn't have the texture I usually desire (CRUNCHY) but with the thick sauce and overall flavor, I was able to easily move past that and enjoy what was the gravity defying part of what used to be a chicken. Also, fresh made, in house produced BEEF JERKY! All of them are Piso's own original recipes and what I has (original) was fantastic. It's got the texture I expect from beef jerky, just the right amount of toughness and chew and huge flavor! Overall, I advise to get your food to go, be ready to eat it wherever and enjoy. It's delicious comfort food and I think it's got some serious staying power at a good price! CHEERS!"

"About 90% of the orders are to go. Even during peak lunchtime, the place is mostly empty inside. The amount of to go orders is decent. Only one other person besides myself dines in during noontime. Portion size is big. One could probably share an order with someone and still be okay. Certain items are good and others are not as great. Fried catfish is big and good and I like their tartar sauce. The shrimps are big, even bigger than some other well known places. Fried okra is not bad. The batter comes off on some causing those to be burnt but they give you so much that it doesn't even matter. The oyster has way too much batter inside and the mashed potato is not great. Angie's Fish and Wings is like a semi fast food chain and the seafood is superior to Long John's Silver for sure. I would recommend it over Long John's any days of the week."
