"The Jones Assembly is the pride & joy of downtown OKC - not only does it operate as a concert venue, club/lounge and hangout spot (with multiple full bars), but also serves great brunch, lunch and dinner. Their lunch options are great, especially their salads (as well as the deviled eggs appetizer), and they give you a cool leather placemat with silverware to utilize while dining. Service is also very prompt and attentive (especially from the employees that work at the bar). At night, it becomes possibly the most active location in the Film Row District. Definitely worth a stop if you want to get the full OKC experience!"
"Wright's BBQ: A BBQ Lover's ParadiseAs Kansas City BBQ enthusiasts, we were a bit skeptical when our California cousins suggested a BBQ joint in Arkansas. But, hey, you can't say no to good BBQ! We arrived right at opening time and were surprised to see a line already forming. We ordered a variety of dishes to share, including the 3-meat combo with beans and mac and cheese, and a side of mashed potatoes. The pulled pork was a standout - tender, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The brisket was also impressive, though perhaps not quite KC-style.But the real star of the show was the mashed potatoes. They were creamy, buttery, and had a secret ingredient that elevated them to another level. We were so engrossed in our meal that we didn't even notice our cousin sneaking bites of our mashed potatoes! The atmosphere at Wright's BBQ is casual and inviting. While the extended wait times can be a bit of a drawback, we highly recommend arriving early to avoid the crowds. If you're ever in Northwest Arkansas, Wright's BBQ is a must-visit. It's a great place to experience delicious BBQ and create lasting memories."

"What's not to love?! Always have great drinks. Tonight had their old fashion. Food consistently hits the spot! Ask for a side of jalepeno when getting the Mac and cheese. It's amazing!! All of the sides are yummy! The corn bread can't be missed. Order it all and take rhetorical leftovers home!"
"Nice little place. They don't stay open for very long everyday but it is worthy to go there to get great food. The curly fries are awesome, freshly fried, crispy and not oily at all.Service is super quick. The burger is cooked to perfection. It is full of wok hei, which is caramelization to the fullest, I am not sure if I should use a Cantonese cooking term here, but they are very experienced cooks. If you need a good burger, this is place to go.Service: 10/10Ambiance: 10/10, the restaurant is older but it is very cleanFood: 10/10"
"Service is always great here and I love the vibe and decor. They hands down absolutely have the best and most amazing kale Caesar salad. The dressing is so creamy. I literally would order this for my last meal (with a side of frites). Also a Bengali Gimlet. Love this place."
"I got the bacon lovers omelet with the biscuit mushroom and bacon gravy. And I have been here before so I wanted to show my boyfriend the chocolate gravy! He got the chicken friend steak breakfast with biscuits and chocolate gravy. Our server Joy was beyond nice and friendly. She came to our table with smile and we loved that. She was attentive and I can tell she likes what she does. I asked for my hash browns extra crispy/ well done and I am glad I made that choice. I love me some crispy hash browns. They were well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The bacon lovers omelette had so much bacon in it. You definitely get a good deal with how much food you get. I normally am not a biscuit fan, but their biscuits are so freaking good! You can tell they are homemade by how moist they are. I was here over 10 years ago and I will come back more often and get my biscuit fix. Our bill came out to $29.32 so not bad !"
"Great place to grab lunch h- good food for an affordable price. These kinds of places usually don't offer lunch menus but loved that they did here. The interior is well kept and a nice atmosphere. Very nice bathrooms. Our server was excellent, and the food was pretty good. My spinach salad was very solid, great toppings but little things fell to the wayside (chewier chicken, cold bacon that's lost it's crisp but still real bacon, probably could use a little more apple cider vinegar in the dressing) . That's just my tips for the kitchen. My partner loved their sandwich!"
"My boyfriend took me here for our anniversary and it was really a great experience. I never thought this place was kind of fancy. I thought because it had "grill" in the name that it was some sort of sports bar or something. Well, it's not like that at all! It's really neat how each table has a curtain for extra privacy. We got seated at a round table in the corner and I think that was one of the best tables. Secluded and we only had people on two sides of us. For their special they had wagyu steak and of course that's what I got. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium center. We read on Yelp that they are famous for their mushroom soup. I thought, " how good could that soup be?" But decided to try it because I love mushrooms. That soup is the best mushroom soup I've ever had. It was creamy and had so much flavor. There were a couple big chunks of mushrooms in the bowl. I would get that again! The sides I chose for my main dish were the mashed potatoes and fried green beans. Both were great. The green beans tasted fresh and had a nice crunchy coating on them and came with a dipping sauce. You can tell everything is freshly made. The potatoes were creamy yet there were some chunks of potatoes in there. We got a small dessert cup for our anniversary that contained fruit and whipped cream. That was refreshing, but of course we had to get a caramel cheesecake. That was the best I've had. You could tell they made the it all homemade. The caramel tasted rich and it wasn't the caramel you get from a jar at the store. I'd recommend everything I ate! I don't eat fish or seafood, so I can't say what those dishes taste like. My boyfriend got a pasta dish and it was amazing too. You can't go wrong coming here."
"This place looks like a hole in the wall and it is. It's also a great diner. The name says it simply and that how the food is cooked. I judge a breakfast place on how I order my eggs. If I say over medium and they don't know or look at me funny then I just say over easy and I get over medium. This place knew. Service was great. The decor was dated and old but I like the rustic look. Plus it's in Norman Oklahoma and that's how many places are. The food was really good and felt fresh. Eggs were cooked perfect. The link sausage had that skin that pops when you bite down and was flavorful. The oatmeal was thick. Some people like it more runny or with milk but I enjoyed it. It felt like it coated your ribs. Overall you shouldn't pass through and not get breakfast there. Great place to get a simple home cooked breakfast."
"I came here on a Wednesday around noon after a work event nearby at Stillwater Medical Center along with my coworkers. I'm from the Edmond/OKC area, but have never been to Stillwater before. I was excited to finally get some of the very popular Eskimo Joe's merch, and snagged a hoodie and sweater. I didn't realize how huge Eskimo Joe's is! This restaurant is connected to a merch/souvenir-type store fully stocked with everything and anything OSU, Eskimo Joe's, and Oklahoma gear. The store staff members were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has great food and service. The group I came with ordered the regular cheese fries and bacon cheese fries. The fries came with ranch and were delicious. A few coworkers who were with me have been here quite a few times because their children go to college at OSU, so they gave me some recommendations. I ordered the Classic Joe burger. This came with a choice of side, and I got the pasta salad with Italian dressing. The pasta salad was underwhelming, but the burger was very satisfying. I appreciated that the bun didn't fall apart and kept all of the inside together.A couple of my coworkers ordered the chicken sandwiches. The chicken breast pieces were huge, but tough. Overall I had a great experience and would come back again and maybe try some cocktails and more menu items - probably will avoid the chicken sandwiches!"
"Food 5Service 5Had the turkey bacon pita sandwich. A very nice surprise. Very tasty and enough for two. The white chocolate salted caramel cookie hit the spot. This place is on the ground floor of an apartment building. Nice outside seating too."
"Long wait time as it is cooked fresh 10-15 min for 2 cheesesteaks. So the steak tasted more like roast beef than sirloin or ribeye steak.... Uhhh felt like I needed au jus instead of ranch. Peppers and onions were bit mushy overcooked. Waffle fries were awesome fluffy and crispy so good!!! It was freezing in the dining area so we took it to go . Friendly staff but cookDid have a bit too much facial hair and other hair with no hairnet for me.... Uhhh Full bar but never seen bartender. Tv screens but couldn't hear they had music jamming."

So glad I attended a retirement celebration here and could up my review from three stars to five. (Albeit that previous review was from 5 years ago). I love this place! We met for drinks (with about twenty of us trickling in) in the bar area around five o'clock. Bartenders could not have been more helpful or accommodating or quick! I tried the Dagwood Dixie. Good sipping cocktail. Other standouts that got ordered again and again from the group were the Jones 75 (with just the right amount of kick) and Disco Nap (a berry-tequila drink). There was plenty of seating in the lounge area for us.We then went to the patio/deck area for dinner. We had a large table around the tree and another picnic sized table. Our waiter (our only server) was great, explaining the new changes to the seasonal menu and answering a lot of questions. By now, our group had grown to about 26. For the large size group, I thought service was great. We were not in a hurry at all. Around our table we tried the Dips & Spreads (always good), the Roasted Brie and the Pot Pie Croquettes. The trio dips is always a great bet but the baked brie was remarkable. I thought the pot pie bites were OK--they tasted like Thanksgiving. They were not the favorite around the table though.I ordered a glass of wine with dinner and chose the Truffle Mafaldine. Delicious. Others had the breaded pork and the scallops. The Steak Frites dish came out a little too well done. Frites were delicious though. While we dined and chatted, the dining room inside filled up. It was cool sitting on the deck because we had the outdoor feel and could see into the kitchen area. They were busy all night! The deck, however, remained uncrowded. :)So glad I returned for this experience. I have friends and colleagues who love this place. I would totally dine here again the next time I'm in OKC!!(Parking garage is close by and only $5 but upon leaving at 8:30 PM, I didn't have to pay. This was a weeknight though.)Almost forgot about dessert: we sampled the Cruller Intentions and the banoffee flavored dessert. While the first dessert, a split donut with a large slab of apple was good (tasted like the state fair in the best possible way), the banoffee dessert was amazing. I just had a sample but the coffee ice cream (shaped like a coffee bean) with the super moist banana-chocolate cake along with the caramel sauce was unbelievable. The caramel sauce was amazing! If you see caramel on any of the upcoming seasonal menus, order it!

Food was great! I got an assortment of meats including brisket and hot sausage links. BUT, the burnt ends were the star! The sides are spectacular as well. Three different sauces; any of which will delight. Only place better is Snow's in Lexington, Texas. The people were great too! The line was out the door but moved along well. Limited indoor seating. Building is plain but comfortable.

Went for happy hour, 3-6pm today, and had a wonderful time! Cora was our server, and she treated us so well and was so fast despite being super busy. Had the fried chicken sandwich, and for $5 during happy hour was an absolute steal! Also had some queso, not pictured, but was so good! I didn't get a drink, but my friend got the pomegranate margarita and loved it! The prices were also amazing! Everything on happy hour was $5, even the drinks. I would definitely recommend this place, it has beautiful rustic vibe and the servers are all so kind.

The coldest draught beer I've ever had. Actually came out with the lite slush on top. So cold!We ordered the pulled pork nachos and the fried goat cheese ball and they were both really good. The service was excellent and very responsive and attentive. She asked if my beer needed a refill right when I finished it! Great atmosphere with outdoor seating on the water or enjoy the AC inside while it's summer hot here. We will be back.

What a nice surprise dinner on a business trip to OKC. The Paseo area of town looked pretty cool and possibly nice to stroll had the weather been warmer. The restaurant itself was great. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Felt comfortable. The sheer curtains hanging at the table were sorta odd but looked odder in photos than reality. Not sure they were necessary but then I was with a coworker and not a date. Food was fantastic! Loved the mushroom soup! Whole mushrooms in a delicious, creamy soup!Octopus appetizer... WOW! Really nice. Very tender. Not rubbery or chewy at all. Nice size for two to share. My duck was perfect! Substituted fried green beans for the sautéed green beans and they were really good!(Sorry no food pics since I was with a coworker!)

"Signature Grill proves dining isn't math. An experience such as signature grill can't be distilled down to the addition of food quality, expediency of service, originality of the menu or ambience during peak hours. Signature Grill is more Gestalt than that. The whole is something greater than service, ambience, and quality food. Everything at Signature Grill is working together to create the best dining experience in Edmond for an intimate meal."
"We ate here with the family a few weeks ago. The waitress was great & patient with us since most of us had not been before. I got a plain burger with pickles (I'm very picky) and it was great! Huge patty, cooked perfectly and still very juicy. I got half sweet potato fries and half onion rings. Neither were super warm, but the fries were good. The onion rings were okay, but seemed somewhat undercooked. The fried pickles were excellent!!The place was nice and not loud at all!"
"Genuinely makes me sad to leave Oklahoma w how good this place is. THE FOOD THE SERVICE THE VIBES?? HELLO??? Will be booking a trip back just for the milkshake(Peep the diff outfits bc we came here multiple days lol)"
"Excellent food in Harrison, Ar. I had the cajun chicken pasta. It was a north Arkansas take on a cajun favorite that worked even for this Louisiana born cajun food lover."
"The chicken fried steak is deservedly famous. They were closed for remodeling last time I was in Oklahoma so it was nice to check it out. The breakfast portion would have fed two people. So I enjoyed the second part of the steak cold. Which I recommend doing. It's still ridiculously tender and flavorful. It's an interesting vibe inside. You'll see. Oh -- and it's really difficult to figure out how to get in. The front door has a different Business's name on it."
"Food tasted wonderful...service was very pleasant and quick...atmosphere relaxed and refreshing..."
"I was in town to visit a friend on my move across the country and I stopped to see if I could satisfy a craving for fried catfish. The hightlights for me were the hush puppies, the coleslaw, the unsweetend tea, and the catfish-themed stained glass windows. The green tomato relish was interesting and I might call it good if I didn't have an aversion to sweet relish in the first place.I regret to say I was not at all impressed by the catfish filets, unfortunately. While they were indeed fried to a nice cornmeal crisp, they were extremely thin, dry, and had ZERO seasoning. Not even salt. I didn't bother finishing the fish, but I did eat as much as I needed to in order to keep my energy up for the road. The service was great. Everyone was friendly and prompt and the lady up front even made sure I had a refill on the tea (with lemons!) because I loved it so much.If you are craving catfish, I don't know what to tell you in this area. But I guarantee you could legit just sit there and eat hushpuppies and be happy, because those things were EPIC. Honestly probably the best ones I've ever had, and I grew up in Texas."
"We had a great meal at Star Bar Grill tonight. We had some of the barbecue, a couple of sandwiches and wings- all were excellent! The drinks were generously poured and Dina provided great service. I highly recommend it!"
"I would seriously come here just to eat their rolls! They are that good. I decided to try the 1/2 chicken fried steak which only just barely fit on my plate. I'd be afraid of a whole one! My food was at my table almost before I got done ordering it, and it was very good! The sides were good and the service was fantastic!I had to take my freshly made fried pie to go because I could only eat half of it before I was stuffed! This spot is a definite hidden gem, and a must go spot in OKC."
"Excellent appetizers, had the Wellington bites, the lamb pops and also the scallops with awesome grits. Got an Arnold Palmer and sparkling water (service was also superb in making those drinks) and the dessert of toffee pudding with strawberry ice cream was great, as was the hazelnut flavored espresso. Interior environs also very cool and stylish. Just those appetizers filled me up, so I'm looking forward to coming back for dinner!"
"Scotty, Asst Mgr, is my HERO! Eddie's came highly recommended by the Desk Clerk at LaQuinta. We enjoyed a huge, delicious dinner, paid bill and were in car backing out of parking spot. Suddenly, there's a rap on car window! Scotty had found my purse in the booth, chased us down and found us in their very crowded parking lot! Yes, my HERO! He went above and beyond for excellent customer care! Great food, ambiance, service and customer care!!!! Thanks, Scotty!!"
"We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast while we were in Jasper for a couple of days. The food was great and so was the service both times. The double chicken fried steak was delicious and is served in a skillet"
"Absolutely phenomenal!!! Came in from out of town and saw this had solid ratings. Ratings didn't do it justice. Fun atmosphere better food. Best nachos I've ever had and the ribeye was great."
"We're so great with our two baby girls. We love coming here and love the staff. So fun and comfortable"
"Excellent grilled cheese & tomato soup fast-casual restaurant that also serves sides like tater tot's, with good service in a great spacious internal environment with plenty of tables. Recommended and check it out!"
"Every so often I crave good crispy fried chicken. Today was one of those days. After reading reviews, we decided to give it a try, and I am so glad we did. We both ordered the quarter dark chicken meals. It comes with a super flavorful and crispy drumstick and thigh. Craving satiated. The meals come with 2 sides- I got potato wedges and macaroni and cheese. The wedges were seasoned well, and I liked them dipped in ranch. The macaroni and cheese was excellent. My husband got the white beans and fries, and I took a bite of each. The beans come with onions on them, and they were good. The fries were pretty standard. They serve a little cheesy corn muffin with the meals as well. That was a happy little surprise of goodness. Service was fast and friendly. You walk up to order at a counter, and they bring it to the table. They have a full service bar and 1/2 price beer and drinks for happy hour on weekdays. The tables and chairs were all very clean. We will come back for sure."
"A local favorite and very popular! The owners are from Memphis and make great wings with choice of both dry and wet rubs. I'm a fab of their basic "seasoned" wings but there are plenty of other choices. The pork chop sandwich is also popular. Large area in separate dining area with TV's for sports (get there early on popular game days) with a huge selection of beer and spirits to choose from. One of our go-to places at home!"
"June1, 2024 and there is a huge parking lot. The staff is friendly and the bar/dining area is full of families. Nice to see talking vs on phones!Full bar, 8 beers on tap, lots of beers in the cooler too. No less than 6 TVs airing sports. Reasonable prices too.Cory, thank you for the service and just as important, the laughs!"
"The ambiance was great and a little hipster which is totally our vibe. We got into town and wanted something open later on a Sunday evening. We each got the TV Dinner which was two chicken legs fried (super juicy and a lovely breading), corn on the cob that was a big portion, some weirdly delicious green beans (who says delicious green beans) and homemade mashed potatoes that were very well seasoned! My partner also got an old fashioned that was well balanced. There were a couple of loud folks at the bar but nothing crazy. We both left well satisfied and agreed that this is absolutely a great place. 10/10"
"Found this yummy place on a road trip heading to Michigan from Texas. It was very busy on a Saturday at 1pm so that was a sign of the great food to come! Hubby had the catfish plate with spicy black eyed peas & sweet apple coleslaw and hushpuppies. He cleaned his plate!! I got the 2 meat plate with mild sausage and brisket with potato salad (Just like I make!!) and crispy fried okra. The brisket was tender and lean. The sausage had just the right blend of spice. All this for less than $50!! I hope our travels bring us back to this place again!!"
"Food was hot and fresh. Sweet little place with great service. Little tricky to find but well worth the effort."
"The food and service here is awesome! I especially like the blackened chicken sandwich! It has a great taste and is a big sandwich. Can't wait to get back here soon!"
"The breaded fried beef steak probably didn't originate in the south, but it was damn sure perfected there. It became a diner staple, an All-American Route 66 Meal and the Official State Meal of Oklahoma! No brown gravy with onions, nope we don't do that here. Cream gravy. To have the perfect meal, do it right, mashed potatoes, fried okra and a dinner roll. Order yours just like that. Clanton's does a pretty decent job. That is the meal my wife and I had today, along with a small side salad. Something really struck me today. Served with the salad was a small pack of Lances Captain's Wafers. I haven't seen them for many years. A true sign of authentic diner food. Clanton's is a comfortable classic old diner. The service is excellent! If you are reading this review, you are likely not from Oklahoma. Oklahomans are born with an innate ability to locate the best chicken fried steak in the area without having to read someone's opinion posted on a website ran by a bunch of Californians. I won't call Clanton's Chicken Fry the best in Oklahoma, but possibly one of the most well-known. The Clanton's restaurant has been in business at their current location since approximately 1948. If you are traveling west on Route 66 this is a great place to start your Oklahoma Chicken Fried steak tour. As you travel, ask the local's which restaurant they recommend. Take the advice, don't argue with them, even if you think that you had something better up the road. You won't change their mind.Enjoy your trip on 66, and the Okie cultural immersion.Speaking of which....If you don't want to look like a tourist in Oklahoma, you always leave a restaurant with a toothpick in your mouth (a.k.a. Okie Toothbrush). Even if all you had was a cup of coffee."
