Byrd's Riverfront Restaurant

Amazing food! We were staying in Ozark as a stop over before Oklahoma City and with not much else to do, we made this stop. I had the salmon and she had the catfish. The salmon and blueberry reduction might have been the best salmon of my life. The spicy catfish wasn't spicy just big bold flavors. Fried green tomatoes were delicious as was the sweet potato. Mac and cheese was a bit mushy but good flavor. We sat outside overlooking the river and it was perfect. The waitresses were all decked out in red, white, and blue for the 4th! So fun and highly recommend the stop.

Delicious steaks & homemade desserts. I didn't have high expectations but they have a great chef and the friendliest staff. I was blown away!

We stumbled upon this place while out exploring and boy I am so glad we did!! The atmosphere is wonderful, the service was great and the FOOD was excellent! The desserts were to die for also!! I am back visiting my daughter at college and we are going back today!! I highly recommend it!!!

I have only ate here a couple of times for breakfast was good, but I have to say we had supper there one night and it was excellent! I had the catfish poor boy I would highly recommend!

We were on a quick trip to Mulberry Mountain and a friend had suggested this place. We went on a Saturday evening and the four of us all ordered something different and each meal was outstanding!! Our server Raylynn was friendly, thorough, and helpful. PS the desserts were just as good as the beautiful view!

Was not expecting to be so impressed. The food was spot on and the desserts were even better. Our server, Raylynn, was so helpful and personable. Very clean and comes with a beautiful view. Would highly recommend!

Never had anything here that wasn't perfect! Can't wait to come back for some fish tacos, onion rings & banana pudding cheesecake!

We ate there while camping at the center and had a great time. Five of us came up from Dallas for the weekend to canoe and hike and ate Saturday night at the restaurant. Three of us had steaks, one fried shrimp and one had a grilled cheese and all gave the food high marks. Desserts were also outstanding.Servers were very friendly and funny, and Jenny Jo made sure we were taken care of all weekend.Great experience, and we will most definitely be back.

I've eaten here three times. The first two times I stuck with the cheeseburger and fries and it was a very good lunch. The last time I was there the waitress suggested the salmon and my dining companion and I both took a chance. The salmon was grilled with a blueberry reduction sauce and was served with green beans. It was cooked perfectly and was unbelievably good. The guy I was with said it was the best salmon he's ever had and I have to agree.Don't let the location of this place (out in the boonies) fool you. The service is always great and the food is delicious. Highly recommend giving it a try.Note that they're only open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

This place is awesome!We were there yesterday.The food was excellent and I would give a five stars, except we had a bit of a problem with the female manager on duty.We live in Texas but we were on vacation and decided to try it.They are only open on the weekends, and it was a Sunday. We got there at 5:00 and they close at 6:00. We had plenty of time to eat and were ready to pay at 6:00.We stood in line to pay along with another customer for 15 minutes!The waitress told her (the manager) 3 different times that we wanted to pay. The 3rd time the waitress came to get back with us for an update, she said I guess she will be here when she gets ready!What?! We had a party of 8 and the person in front of us had a party of 6, so together, both parties spent around $300-$450! When she did come to check us out she said we close at 6!Aside from this one issue everything was great.You can drive here, float here, or fly here. It is in the middle of nowhere.As a matter of fact there was a plane park there when we arrived. When he left, all of our kids and most of the customers came outside to watch him take off and video.He was nice enough to circle by a couple of times so we could video it and wave to him!This was an awesome experience for us.We were told that 8 had flown in that day so the food is good.The only thing that ruined it for us was the rudeness of the manager.I hope to do this again one day, maybe it will be a 5 star review then.PS-The chicken fried steak is good and one person had a burger that was good as well.The ranch dressing is home made and the green beans are awesome too!
