Buddy's Grill

Our lunch was delayed due to an oil change.Whoever was running the kitchen today was a master of the flat top and deep fryer! The traditional American cheeseburger and the classic hand made onion rings were phenomenal! When you order your cheeseburger, you only have one decision to make. Mustard or mayo. Come on let's all be adults here, please don't order it with mayonnaise. Don't screw with anything else. Order as advertised. Fortunately, Buddy's hasn't had to adulterate the classic cheeseburger to keep it on the menu. It survives on its own, in its natural state, without the gimmicks of adding avocado, egg, some type of aioli, strange cheeses and other weird things.And then comes the "Loops of Deliciousness" "Miracles of the Fryer" the onion rings. Examples of perfection! I don't know what else to say????Damn Delicious! Good call Jeff! Good Call!Oh yeah, when we first walked in, the waitress said the fryer was down for an oil change. It would be about 30 minutes. I had seen the pictures and read the reviews, I was not leaving Claremore without a Buddy's Grill cheeseburger and rings. We drove around Claremore and returned. So, the rings today were fried in pristine oil. Made'em even better!

This is a local favorite, if you're traveling through or are new to the area check them out. The place is always very clean and their staff- great attitudes, helpful, kind... I could go in for days. The food is amazing, they take their time making it and you can tell they love what they do. Breakfast is one of my favorites here, the eggs are always spot on!

I love Buddy's lunch and dinner menu. They have the best onion rings and ranch dressing in the Claremore/Rogers County area! They also have a really good grilled chicken salad, and it's huge!. You can get it with fried chicken, but I love the grilled chicken. It and the onion rings with ranch are my go to order. My husband orders different things and so far, he's always enjoyed his food. Not gonna lie, I and my granddaughter weren't impressed with the breakfast, but one of the reasons is because they don't serve hashbrowns, and if I'm going out for breakfast, I'm going to order crispy hashbrowns. Their reasoning is that everybody does hashbrowns. (Yeah, because everybody likes hashbrowns, lol!) The omelette I ordered was pretty unimpressive as well. My granddaughter ordered something different and I don't remember what it was, but I remember that neither one of us cared for that either. I know it had biscuits involved. The servers are all really friendly and the restaurant is clean. (I haven't used the restroom so I can't vouch for that.) I've never seen it super busy or people waiting to get seated. I do always see people there though, and there's always a few other families or couples in while we are there. In any case, we will continue to support, Buddy's Diner, and hope others will as well, because we'd hate to see that little gem go away. There's quite a few places to eat in Claremore, but not very many that are more than mediocre, at best.

This review is a joy for me to write. After a long bout of subpar and mediocre eateries, I found one that satisfied my picky butt.The Son and I ventured over to C'more for lunch. It was Friday, and I wanted out of the house for a bit.Buddy's is definitely off the beaten track, but that doesn't lessen the quality of the food one bit.We both had the Chicken Fried Steak, me going with mashed potatoes and gravy with onion rings, The Son opting for double sweet potato fries.Both were outstanding.The CFS was BY FAR one of the best I've had in a long, long time. It's not overly huge, so it fills you up nicely without overdoing it. Fork tender, packed with flavor, and covered in an outstanding cream gravy.And those onion rings.... holy hula hoops Batman... I'd make the trip back just for those. In fact, I can see that happening next week, probably.Service was outstanding as well, being prompt and very friendly.Definitely planning on return trips to sample both breakfast and other dinner items.

First time here, wasn't sure what to expect.The outside is not very attractive, and well the inside isn't either. Through an open door was a partial view of the kitchen area. It appeared to be disorganized and messy, but the dining room was clean with nice tables.The wait staff were all pleasant and helpful.We decided on the catfish which was around $16.00 and came with two sides and Texas Toast. The fish was overcooked, not very flavorful, with a tasty coating. The sides were all excellent! Mac&cheese is heavenly. Coleslaw is homemade and fresh. Onion rings were cooked fresh with a great coating, and not a bit greasy. Sweet potato fries seemed like frozen, rather tasteless. We plan to come back and try their hamburgers.In their defense, they are advertising for help in the kitchen.

Little local diner big food for a big appetite.Came on on Sunday morning. Busy but not full. Sat ourselves. Restaurant was clean and smelled good when entering.Wife had eggs and bacon with a side waffle. Couldn't eat it all. Eggs were cooked perfectly... this can be a challenge these days but they did well.I had "the heap". Eggs, sausage, home fries, gravy and grilled onions and peppers. Just the thing for a Sunday breakfast. Stuffed to the gills and was wonderful!!Will definitely return for a breakfast this good!!

Incredible. Their club sandwich is awesome. I also went there for breakfast once and their waffles were incredible! They have powdered sugar clumps in them but not too much that it feels like a dessert. Waitress was very kind and offered refills several times.

We came because of great reviews and weren't disappointed! Food was good and great value. Wait staff was very friendly we will definitely come back.

Great diner. Meatloaf on Thursdays. They use bbq sauce for a little sweeter taste. Yum
