I never leave reviews, but this place deserves way more credit than it has gotten in the past. The option for whatever style of asian food you want is wonderful: Vietnamese, Chinese, Thai and more. Something for everyone in the family or group which makes the menu HUGE. Owner was polite and attentive, food was extremely fast. I only got a Combo Fried Rice #3 with extra shrimp and chicken, so I can't speak to other dishes at this point. All the meat was very tender and tasty, the rice was very good, but could have used more vegis. It was very tasty and most importantly to me, easy on my tummy. Pot stickers were outstanding but could have been fatter. Egg rolls were disappointing due to size, but had good taste. Prices are literally too cheap.I will definitely be back. I regret that for years, I have always avoided it, mainly because of the name and shabby exterior appearance. Now I see several bad reviews on Yelp, that in 2024 at least, they do not deserve. Don't pay attention. TRY IT AT LEAST ONCE. Give them a chance. This is an Asian owner-run restaurant. Please honor and support that.Bonuses: Open until 2 a.m. every single day of the week. Drive thru (really how many Asian places have a drive-thru?). Fast and polite service. Beautiful fish in the tank.

Wonderful restaurant with AMAZING fried rice. Open until 2am so it's a night food hack. I don't understand the negative reviews, maybe another menu item isn't great but so far the 4 star fried rice is some of the best around and great price for the amount of food. The service is great, it's always the same two people serving the food and they're very hardworking. Great local restaurant overall. Give these people some business, you won't regret it!

Food is flavorless and subpar. Only upside is it's cheap. Lo Mein is oily and bland. General Sos chicken is bland as well. After reading the bad reviews it's true. They don't use MSG and they don't stack up well against the other Asian restaurants nearby.

This place is incredible, extremely cheap and extremely tasty, which is rare. Especially with how big the portion sizes are. They have a fish tank in the center of the restaurant and nice lighting, a huge menu, a drive through, and a very friendly manager who is always very accommodating and helpful.

Ok if I'm giving an honest review of strictly the food, it was......confusing. We ordered Mongolian beef, lemon grass chicken, spring rolls, bahn mi. Let's start with some pros. Pros: nice staff, lots of options, big portions, open late, different, decent fried rice. Now let's get to the real real of this: Cons: Mongolian beef: idk what this was but it in no way resembled Mongolian beef in anyway. Looks, flavor, ingredients...nothing was Mongolian beef about this. It was confusing to the point that I was legitimately dissecting the sauce (scratch that, the oil, because it wasn't really in a sauce but more a chili oil) to try and figure out what the heck I was eating. Lemon grass: again so confusing because no hint of lemon grass at all, not by sight, smell, taste. Nothing it just was not lemon grass, veggies used in it were not typical lemon grass veggies. Cabbage leafs and mushrooms in lemon grass was...new. Wasn't terrible but was just some stir fry chicken and veggies in a mystery watery salty-ish sauce. Spring rolls: no flavor. Peanut sauce was legit watered down peanut butter. Not right. Bahn mi: if it had more than one total bite of meat on the entire sandwich it would've been better. Bread was kind soggy but wasn't like over all horrible. So final verdict: if you're hungry & don't want a burger and this is the only option by all means go for it. You'll get friendly service and good portions, just expect to be guessing what you're eating because the names ain't right. Would I try this place again: meeeehhhh again late night, no other options, yes I would but I would definitely gamble on something different and hope for the best. Really really wanted to like this place but man I'm just so confused about what we just ate, I'll for sure be thinking about it for a while anyways.

We really like this place. It's our go-to for Asian food in town. Remember, its Vietnamese food and not the Chinese food that you're probably used to, so the dishes might be a little different than you are accustomed to. There's a bit of a spice kick in a lot of the dishes, which I like! I get something different every time. My partner swears by the chicken fried rice. The crab rangoons are really crispy and tasty. The food is always super fast. The owner is always extremely appreciative when you pick up your food. He is a very sweet man. I also really like the fish in the tank inside the restaurant (you know the food is going to be good when there's a big old fish tank in the middle of the place). As we all know, COVID killed many good places, and I hope people see that Bucks of Asia is a great place to eat! It's convenient to get to (right off College) and is quick, tasty, and one of the cheaper options in town, and has long hours into the morning if you get that midnight craving for Asian food.
