I had a torn contact stuck in my left eye. Claire at the front desk is the absolute best! They definitely did a great job when they hired her! She's very attentive, really listens to your concerns, is very prompt to help you with what you need and most importantly, is very empathetic and shows genuine concern. I got right in to see my optometrist, Dr. Colby Beats. I can't say enough good things about her as well. She got that torn lens right out and is always concerned about helping me in any way she can. I've been coming here for years and would have given this place low reviews in the past because the front desk was not great and you left feeling like they didn't care (although both optometrists are great). Give this place another chance - if Claire (and Dr Beats) are here, they'll get you taken care of and you won't be disappointed!

So my husband picked this place since we need to get our vision check before the end of year. They scheduled us for the same week which was great. They had the paperwork to us before the appointments. I am writing this reviee in their office.When we arrived, the receptionist had this pissed off look on her face. Apparently, no one has told her that she is the first impression people will have of this business. At the counter, she asked can I help you with all this attitude. I told her our names and that we had an appointment at 1pm and 1:20pm. She asked then as for our insurance card which I told her who the vision was with. She snapped "No, your insurance." I stated I have VSP for vision. Then she stated, "No, your medical insurance!" First of all, I am not coming in here for anything other then an eye exam which is covered by VSP. I asked what do you need that for. She proceeded to say with irration, "If anything happens."

I have been using BA Vision Clinic for several years for comprehensive eye exams and annual retinal dilation, as I am a diabetic.The office workers have always been pleasant and happy to assist me. I've never had to wait much beyond my arrival time to be seen. Dr. Murrell is really nice, and always makes me feel comfortable with the exams and the eye dilation, which can be a bit disconcerting. Overall, I am happy with the service and care here, and would recommend it to others.

I have been going here for years, but I am not impressed with the service I received this year. I haven't worn contact lenses in over 10 years, but I decided I wanted to try some again. When I called to make an appointment, I was told to come by and pick up a sample pair of contacts, then make an appointment for a week later for an eye exam.Today was my eye exam. I showed up in glasses because honestly I didn't know I needed to wear the contacts. The woman at the front desk asked me if I had my contacts with me. I said no, but I live less than a mile away so I can go get them. She told me no, I would have had to have had the contacts in my eyes for at least an hour (ok so why ask if they were with me?). No one ever told me I had to have the contacts in and have them in for at least an hour. I wasted an hour of my day driving from and back to work for an appointment that couldn't happen.When I got back to work, I was curious how much my copay was going to be for the contact lens exam, so I logged into VSP. I noticed that it said I could not get new glasses until 2019, which was weird because I should have been able to get some this year. I contacted VSP and they told be that BA Vision Clinic said I bought some glasses on 3/29/2017. This was terribly incorrect. Back in February, I brought in an old pair of frames and got lenses put in them using my husband's insurance. The lab broke my frames, and BA Vision Clinic replaced them and said they would bill the lab. Apparently they decided to bill VSP instead.So VSP called BA Vision Clinic and about 5 minutes into my hold music, I could hear the VSP rep talking to me like she thought she was still talking to BA Vision Clinic. Apparently BA Vision Clinic hung up on VSP. So VSP called back and told me they would get it taken care of since I did not purchase new glasses.As I said, I have been going here for years, but I will not go back. The staff isn't friendly (though Dr. Murrell is great).

I am really shocked by some of the negative reviews that have been sent in about Broken Arrow Vision Clinic. I've been a patient for about 7 or 8 years now and I've never noticed any of the negative behaviors mentioned here.Dr. Beats is absolutely wonderful and I know I can depend on her.After having a problem with my eye while we were on vacation in Florida we called the vision clinic and Dr.Beats came directly to the phone. Within 15 minutes she had me in with an eye doctor in Florida and even gave me her cell number to call if I needed anything after hours.Thank you Dr. Beats for everything and you have my continued support. Keep up the GREAT work!!

I Really liked their selection of frames, in fact I LOVED their selection of frames! Unfortunately I really hated their insurance fraud. They charged for things they didn't do. Coincidentally I switched eye doctors because of this, and my new eye doctor had a new employee who had worked here as well. They shared that it was not a billing oversight, it was common practice! Although the charges didn't cost me any extra, it did cost my insurance more. Tsk tsk tsk. Such a shame, this could have been an amazing optometrist. I suggest anyone who goes here read their bills carefully and if you go for glasses, dispute the assessment fees for contacts, especially when you hear them specifically say they aren't doing a contact test.

Well...have been going here since I was 11. Always great service and love Dr. Beats. Haven't been back in a few years because I moved states for awhile. I made an appointment (that was rescheduled 3 times on THEIR part), and they recorded my insurance over the phone weeks BEFORE I arrived. I drive 40 minutes to their office in rush hour traffic (while my mom took off from her job so that she could watch the baby) from my house, and they tell me when I walk in they don't take my insurance. I NEVER write reviews, because I don't believe in being rude to others or businesses over the internet, but this was absolutely unprofessional and rude on behalf of the business itself. They 100% deserve this bad review based on this
