Bordinos is amazing! I always have the best experience here and the food is great. I recommend the brussels and salmon!

Food-wise, nearly everything I tried at Bordinos was five-star worthy. The wild boar sausage appetizer, wild boar sausage fettuccini, and tortellini were my favorites, but the beef tenderloin rigatoni and beef lasagna were also tasty. And the crème brûlée and chocolate cake were amazing as well. The restaurant atmosphere was dimly lit, moderately busy, but not overly loud. Where Bordinos fell short was on the service--whether it was waiting to order, waiting on appetizers and entrees, and even waiting on the check, everything seemed like we were waiting for a while. Our server was friendly though, so maybe it's a short-staff issue.

Had a wonderful dinner here. The beef rigatoni is their specialty and it's not hard to guess why - it's so delicious.I docked a star for the wilted house salad I was served. I quickly forgot about it because of my amazing pasta but was kind of sad to start on that note.

This was my 2nd time at Bordinos on Dickson and it never disappoints! The service is phenomenal and the food is always so good. We got the beef rigatoni and spinach fettuccine and both dishes were fantastic. We celebrated a birthday here and the waiter was awesome and gave us a free birthday crème brûlée. Definitely ask for the goat cheese and honey spread to go with the phenomenal bread upon arrival.

Stopped in here for dessert and after dinner drinks. This place has a very classy romantic interior - would be a great place to take a date or someone you want to impress. We were sitting in the bar area which is lovely. The PBCB cocktail was delicious - tasted like an alcoholic Reese's peanut butter cup. I enjoyed the velvet underground dessert as well. Our waiter was really great!

Great wine dinner Saturday July 27. Chef Caleb outdid himself with 5 courses paired perfectly with Presqui'ile wines. The first course of Hamachi Crudo with grapefruit, pickled cucumbers and Serrano paired with the Presqui'ile 2023 Santa Barbara Sauvignon Blanc was fantastic. Ooops, that was the appetizer The Bordinos owners and the owner of Preaqu'ile were great hosts and Chef Caleb made an appearance so I could applaud his efforts

At this point in the history of Fayetteville and Dickson Street this restaurant is something of an institution. It was there before so much of Dickson Street as it exists today, and it remains a "nice night out" place on almost everyone's list because it is consistently good-to-very-good-to-even-excellent. The one caution is that there is something about Bordinos where the quality in the back can really be felt by the diners. If the restaurant is having an off-period it can send the whole experience off-kilter. The management has changed a lot over the years so the quality is very much dependent on who is running it and how they treat the staff and the folks in the kitchen. When there is turnover the change is usually felt immediately and it takes them time to adjust. I know almost nothing of any drama on that front, just making the observation as someone who has eaten there countless times over the decades. When the place is working well it soars but when the staff is unhappy it is fine at best.
