Boomarang Diner Tahlequah

Food was pretty decent at a good price considering. The service was the most excellent part of this place. Food was fast and hot and the staff were working really hard on a busy weekend for the Cherokee National Holiday. Small place but everything moved really fast considering.

Another delicious meal in Oklahoma. This is a local chain that runs 50's style diners. I was getting hungry so I decided to stop in.I had the chicken fried steak with delicious mashed potatoes and coleslaw and a slice of toasted bread. Excellent food. Excellent service. Price for the meal was extremely reasonable. Wish they had something like this closer to home. Town itself is cute. Lots of little shops along a historic Main Street. Glad I decided to stop at both.

This is a well known place to the locals. We were here on a job and the client recommended. It did not disappoint. Fast service, large portions, and very friendly service. We got the Chicken fried steak platter and Ham and Cheese omelette. This is now a favorite if we are ever passing through again.

Atmosphere in here is great like an old malt shop. It a large place but it seems they take care of you right away. Wow, they even come ask if you ordered if they don't know.I ordered a strawberry milk shake! Wow!! So so good!Omg there is a hot hamburger plate! Fries and gravy come with it! Ahhh!! Little piece of heaven. Found out this is a college town so that is why there is so much to do here. The fried pickles are cooked just right.Omg the hot hamburger with fries and gravel all over it, YUMMMMY!!So the gravy is brown gravy poured all over the hamburger and fries!!Service was great, food was great, atmosphere great!! Come try the place out.

Came for lunch Mondays is hamburger half day$$ just ordered the old fashion hamburger and it was pretty good. Loved the decor diner experience. Gotta come back to taste the breakfast!

Boomerang Diner is a small diner with rock n roll and Hollywood memorabilia on the walls. They serve breakfast all day. Hamburgers, chicken, and catfish are also on their menu. The service is fast and friendly. Morning breakfast time is very busy and service can be a little slower during that time. There are a dozen or so booths and some seating at the counter. We have eaten breakfast there many times and it has always been delicious. I have also had their hamburgers and catfish. Those items taste good. I recommend the food and service at Boomerang Diner.

Mediocre Chicken Fried Crust. Yep - crust, not steak. Had this yesterday 6/19/24 at lunch time. The flavor was okay, not great. But the sliver of meat surely was not more than 1/8" thick; some bites did not even contain steak. Mashed potatoes were ehhhh. Absolutely no flavor. From the chicken friend steak (ha!) dinner, the best thing was the toast!Iced tea was weak, not strong enough. Sounds like a restaurant trying to cut back on ingredients to save money. Ambience. Cute. But, they are trying to cram too many seats into a small space. At a booth, the gap between the table and the seat is ridiculously tight. Sadly, this is one of the better places in Tahlequah. The only redeeming element of the experience was that the waitress offered a to-go glass of underpowered iced tea to take with me.My experience was absolutely nothing like others have posted. Makes me wonder if they are working for that Indonesian company that pays people to post reviews for businesses!

Great diner ambiance. Enjoyed the burgers. The fried mushrooms were excellent. Good service. No major complaints. A neat place in Tahlequah

used to eat here quite offten, but recently they have upped their prices and lowered the amout of food you get. they have priced themselves out. the food just gets worse. the place is just awful now.

Great diner atmosphere. Waitresses are fantastic. Breakfast is spot one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
