This place is amazing!! All staff was friendly, the star was the food it shines!! I had the lobster fettuccine. As a chef I'm hesitant to try some of these places.. This was not a disappointment!! I'll be back!

This family owned and operated place is a refreshing take on classic American / Italian eatery vs the many chains. Almost perfect but undoubtedly the best Italian restaurant in the surrounding area and possibly state. 5 dinners with 5 very happy customers. The homemade pasta unmistakably is a huge driving factor. My 10oz filet was a special, but I'd recommend it as a staple. My only recommendation would be to serve the plate with a side of the very delicious Gorgonzola dressing. I did and it was outstanding.

Enjoyed a dinner with the bestie here. Very torn on a rating here, as it is better in many ways than many other local establishments, but disappointing in that it seems that small changes in execution could really make a huge difference. Service was quite good, as were the cocktails and selection of wines by the glass. They've managed to find two fairly inexpensive Pinot Noir that were both excellent!Complementary bread is a great touch especially with the roasted garlic. It is a very soft loaf, so not my favorite type, but it was good. I appreciate that salads are served with the entrées and there's an interesting selection of homemade dressings; the house salad with creamy garlic dressing was great. . We ordered the chicken piccata and the mushroom ravioli. Plating on the chicken piccata looked nice, but sauce was a little too salty, as if the seasoning wasn't adjusted for the tremendous number of capers in the dish. I love capers, so I don't think there's such thing as too many, just have to remember to back off on other salt. The chicken is a thicker portion of breast, not pounded thin as a traditional piccata would be, nor was it finished in the sauce. I would not have said the chicken was over done, but it was far more dry than expected. Similarly, the housemade pappardelle was thicker than you find for homemade and had not even been tossed in the sauce, much less finished in it. There were plenty of bites of thick undressed noodles rather than the silky "read a newspaper through it" an Italian cook would want. The mushroom ravioli fared better on flavor. In the picture here is exactly as delivered, kind of thrown into the bowl over on one side, spinach lumped up. I was very glad that it wasn't the thick cream sauce with little flavor of anything else that you see too often; I'm guessing they used dried porcini to get a nice depth of mushroom flavor. But the sauce had a watery consistency which meant it did not at all stick to the ravioli. Again, finishing the pasta in the sauce ensures that they are both the right consistency, bound together and present as a dish, not noodles with a sauce. I will round my 3 1/2 stars to 4, but I just get so frustrated when it seems like there are very few steps missing between that and a really fantastic meal.

Our son and daughter in law live nearby so we got takeout. We ordered Caesar salads, fettuccine Alfredo, meatballs and spaghetti, chicken Parmesan, and chicken piccata. It was all so delicious! So many places feel pressured to garlic bread. Theirs was just a delicious roll and I loved it.I will definitely try again when I'm back in town!

Please tell me you didn't get new ownership. We went on New Year's Eve at 5:00 (they open at 5) when they were dead. The two meatballs we ordered for our appetizer were tough and flavorless. They had zero sauce on them and we had to ask for extra sauce. Once we got the sauce, which is ALWAYS Delicious, it tasted like it just came out of a can. Right away we started questioning standards and if they got a new owner. We split the steak special that came with a fillet and a side of pasta. The fillet was overcooked and it was definitely not a prime steak and it was extremely disappointing. I don't even know if was choice to be honest. This was the point we started questioning if they were just over whelmed in the kitchen but again the place was basically dead right at opening but it did fill up quick around 6:00. We ordered two dishes to go 1. Rigatoni Alla vodka con Salsiccia and the Four cheese vodka sauce lasagna. I love Bocca and I pray it was just a stressful busy night. We will be back but if it's bad like this again we will move on. We all know Fayetteville is very limited when it comes to good restaurants. Please don't let this place be a casualty of new ownership. As far as the service goes our waitress was perfect. I wish I can remember her name. She was short with dark hair and probably in her 40s.

Had about a year ago. All members of my family found it to be underwhelming and prefer other options to Italian. It was take out for three and that could have been part of it... I'm sure someone got Chicken Marsala, but don't remember the rest of the dishes. Making this for personal records (sorry it's not more helpful) Probably wont try it again. The main thing I remember was just disappointment because the menu sounds fantastic.

Very disappointing dining experience. This used to be my favorite restaurant in Fayetteville when i attended college here and I was excited to bring my family while home for the holidays.I called and made a reservation about a week in advance - when I got to the restaurant they tried to claim there was no reservation until I showed them the call log from the week before. They didn't have a table inside for us so they sat us outside on the patio. They were out of bread and caesar dressing and it took over an hour for our food to come out. I recommend asking for some sort of proof you made a reservation since it seems there is some issue with keeping this information organized.
