BlueJ's Rockin' Grill

Small place. Not sure I would try them again.Hamburger is thick patty.Mine had onion ring on it with bacon n bbq.Husband had sausage, bacon, cheese.Fries were the crinkle cut with chili n cheese.That's the facts. I'm going to follow the saying if you can't say anything good don't say anything at all......

I was on a burger crave so I reached out to some foodies and they recommended this place. I always thought it was a food truck but learn that it's actual mortar located in the Railyard area. The menu is simple and the place was small.I ordered the Okie onion burger combo. It came w crinkled fries and a drink for $13. This burger is served on a brioche bun and had cheese, meat and grilled onions. I was kind of disappointed when I didn't see any lettuce or tomatoes on it. So I went back in and asked for some lettuce and they gave me some. It wasn't a bad burger, I've had better.... but I wished the meat was seasoned a bit more and it wasn't as juicy as I was hoping. Kind of a bummer. I shared the burger w my friend and she agreed. Next time, I'll try a different burger and see if it's any different.

One of the worst dining experiences ever. I had a coupon that was FB messaged to me from the restaurant for a BOGO chili dog or grilled cheese so we decided to try it. Big mistake. We went in and the order taker dude was very nice but didn't know how to help us use the coupon. So after much hemming and hawing for several minutes, he talked to the cook and called the "manager" and asked us to wait. After a few minutes, she came huffing into the restaurant, slammed two big metal bowls with chips in them down on the long high top table behind us, then threw her cell phone down like she was furious. She stomped over to the register where we are and took over the cash register screen and started complaining about the coupons. Told us us it was actually expired but there was no expiration date anywhere on it. She then tried to charge us full price for both coneys, which I took issue with. She then got back on the computer and was swearing ( using the sh*t word several times. I was ready to walk out but my fiancé was hungry and wanted to eat so we stayed. When we finally got our food, it was inedible. The bun was hard and dry and fell apart completely when we tried to eat it. I will say I was impressed that the cook, who brought our food out to us, had heard the whole thing and apologized for her rude comments to us. That was very nice to hear. She had also slapped the order taker's hand when he tried to give us two cups for water saying "Stop that! We have to charge them for that"....yes, charge us for water! The cook and the young order taker were trying their best and very accommodating but that "Manger" needs to go! We won't be back if she is there. She wasn't even in the restaurant and we had to wait for her to show up to "help" us. I swear a year ago we were in Wayback Burgers in Edmond and there was a female Manger there yelling at and berating the other employees there and we think it might be the same woman. Do yourself a favor, RockingJ's and get rid of her. She's obviously NOT happy nor good at the job.

My family & I love Blue Js! The burgers are yummy-I love the bubba J burger! Plus the fries!! From truffle to chili lime & even just plain salted you really can't go wrong. The owners love their customers and always go above & beyond. Plus the place itself is fun with the decor and seating. Now they've even added brunch & Tex mex to the menu! Craving a Mexican pizza?! Go try theirs!

Wonderful reunion, try again the DELICIOUS French fries of BlueJ's Rockin' -now- Grill, outside the truck and in such a cool place. It's fantastic. Now instead of looking for them in the city, just come to downtown Edmond to enjoy their dishes.

For the price one would expect an awesome burger and fries. This was not the case for my first and only visit. Two burgers and one order of chili lime fries and two drinks was almost $50! I ordered a grilled onion cheeseburger and it was not good, especially in Oklahoma where onion burgers are a delicacy. The chili lime fries were the same size as McDonalds small fries. They had chili seasoning sprinkled on them and really didn't taste lime. Disappointed for the price we paid.

Honestly, nothing had any flavor. The burgers didn't taste. The chili cheese fries didn't have flavor. Seriously, the chili was bland. The burger was cooked ok, but it had no seasoning. I wouldn't go back. Better burgers elsewhere.

Came here because I have been drooling over the brunch photos for a couple of months. Brought in some good friends to try their menu and everything was amazing. I got the Chicken and waffle. The chicken was crisp and juicy on top a light and crispy waffle. The Raspberry chipotle maple syrup was addicting. They also make their own bbq sauce! So I grabbed a bottle of that! Everything was amazing. Service was great!! Can't wait to go back and try more.

You get one chance to do things right when there is this much competition out there. First, let's talk about the food. It was okay, but we found the spice in the chili to be weird. The burger itself was edible but you would expect more given the price and the "vibe" of the place. What would have made me overlook the run-of-the-mill grub was a bit more cordialness coming from staff.The woman working the counter (I can only assume she was the owner) had an air of "I'm doing you a favor by allowing you to eat here." She made my wife feel rushed while she was getting condiments and we were the only customers in the place. Overall a better-than-you type of attitude coming from the individual. We would much rather go somewhere that treated people as equals where we can have witty banter with the owners and such.My advice is to try to "rock it" more and stop making it look like you're just slinging burgers. Get an attitude about your food and get behind it instead of just expecting people to buy it because the font on the menu makes it look good.

Truffle fries have 0 flavor, just dry and boring. The mushroom burger came out partially cooked, red in the middle, mushrooms weren't cooked and were cold, and the cheese wasn't melted at all. The taco meat did have great flavor, and the kids loved their french toast but I can't say I'd ever come back.
