Bluebird Lane

BBL is an awesome getaway for you and your scrapbooking, cardmaking, quilting, beading, crafty friends! They have lots of room to spread out and quiet surroundings allow you to relax and create in peace. The house is a split-level, with two crafting rooms, dining room and kitchen upstairs. Downstairs are the bedrooms and laundry room. A deck runs the full length of the upstairs where you can read a book, enjoy a cup of coffee or paint your toenails. BBL is awesome in every way! My girlfriends and I go once or twice a year.

I love my bi-yearly getaway to Bluebird Lane, where I spend a weekend churning out personal quilting projects and catching up with quilting friends. When we arrive, the place is spotless. My bed is always very comfortable, the shower always has hot water and there is just enough room for me to spread out all my equipment and get busy. The sisters who own and operate Bluebird Lane are quick to respond and have incorporated additional safety measures during COVID, which eased my concerns about being with my small group. There are also lots of snacks and goodies waiting for you here if you're into that. Our group usually opts to have meals prepared, which we reheat when ready to stop for a bite. The meals are tasty, but tend to be high carb, which is a bummer for me because I need to keep to a very low carb diet. That said, I would still give the place 5 stars even though I wish they would provide more low-carb food options.
