First time here and loved it .. very friendly staff and breakfast food (omelettes with home fries and biscuit and gravy and original waffle) were awesome! Thank you for a great experience and will definitely be back !P.S Patriotic place

We stumbled into the Blue Plate Cafe in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and let me tell you, it was a wild ride from start to finish. The place was bustling with energy, like a tornado had just ripped through the kitchen and landed all the customers in the dining room.The food, though, oh man, the food was something else. It was like they had hired a team of magicians to whip up the most delicious dishes this side of the Mississippi. My husband had to try the hot hamburger with fries and brown gravy on top. It was like they took a juicy burger, deep-fried it, and then drowned it in a savory, lip-smacking gravy. Talk about a heart-stopping, flavor-packed punch to the taste buds!And the service? Well, let's just say the waitstaff were moving faster than a jackrabbit on a hot date. They were zipping around the tables, balancing plates like they were circus performers. I'm pretty sure my iced tea refill was delivered by a superhuman speed demon.But wait, there's more! I couldn't leave without trying the club sandwich, which was served on a flaky, buttery croissant. It was like they took a classic club and gave it a fancy French twist, and let me tell you, it was a match made in heaven.Overall, the Blue Plate Cafe is the kind of place where you go to get a heaping helping of good ol' fashioned Southern hospitality, with a side of pure culinary chaos. It's like a tornado of flavors and friendly faces, and I wouldn't have it any other way. If you're ever in Broken Arrow, do yourself a favor and stop by - just make sure you bring your appetite and your running shoes!

It did not disappoint! The food was delicious, the prices were great, and the service was top-notch. Portions were large enough that we got a couple of meals out of each plate.

I've always been one that gives great reviews... but to today I will have to take another route. The service was tremendous and the waitress was magical. However the sausage tasted like it had Frost bite along with a biscuit. The absolute worst I've ever had.I couldn't get off the interstate fast Enough to find a restroom. Sooo I'm sorry to give such a low rating for such a great restaurant.

They are open. And I like the Blue Plate Café!Are diners making a comeback? I hope so. Although I love the stuff, the explosion of Mexican restaurants is getting out of hand. Chicken strips, and wing vendors are another invasion, too many, especially in Broken Arrow. Welcome the Blue Plate Café, which proclaims to be Broken Arrow's, elite Blue Plate Café! The cafés menu has an expansive variety of American style breakfasts and lunches. Their menu looks good. In addition to the breakfast selection the menu covers soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, classic diner entrées, and daily specials (browse the menu pictures.) And for that unimaginative boring person at the table, chicken tenders. The sandwich, soup and salad section of the menu appealed to me. I can see another visit in the future. Breakfast for me, my standard cafe breakfast challenge; two eggs sunny side up, bacon and hashbrowns (both crisp), biscuit and gravy, and coffee. The meal came to the table quickly after being ordered. It was perfect, on spec, exactly as ordered. Delicious. The coffee, an adequate café brew. The restaurant was well staffed this morning with their new employees in training. We got double friendly attention as the new servers were accompanied with their trainer. The cook was certainly not in training. The food was prepared perfectly! A big tasty breakfast with excellent service.The restaurant is clean and comfortable. The furnishings appeared to be fairly new. The café is attractively decorated with, as you would expect, a café motif of pictures and signs with catchy words of wisdom. Booths and tables are available. The parking lot is roomy with easy access from Kenosha or Elm Pl.Blue Plate Café works for me...I like it!

Clean, fresh interior without annoying loud music. Wait staff were busy at the noon hour, but attentive. I ordered the chicken-fried steak with corn and mashed potatoes. The dinner salad was very tired lettuce--mostly the white ribs of lettuce. Corn had the taste of being on the stove for an extended time and mashed potatoes tasted like cardboard paste. The steak was gray and without flavor. Not a fan of the food-just food-service grade.

Great new place for you try out. Quality ingredients and great selection. Our first time here and we will def come back for lunch and many more breakfast.

Our family's new Sunday tradition! We love this place - their food is good and the prices are decent. The staff is absolutely amazing and even though they are always busy when we go - we never have to wait long for a table

Neat little diner, very comfortable setting. They have a big breakfast menu, small lunch menu. We had lunch and it was pretty good, big servings for sure. The staff is great, our server was on top of things and not a empty seat. The tables are small, gets cramped but overall a good place to go.

Excellent, great service, food comes out quick and hot, Place is very bright and lively.
