Blacksheep BBQ

We tried this place for the first time a few days ago and were very impressed with it. We ordered the chicken, brisket , and sausage and it was all delicious! The potato salad was also top notch and the French fries were great as well. We ordered it to go but we did go inside and the restaurant is so cute and clean the the ladies that were working in the front were very nice, professional and helpful. Their bathroom was clean as well. I'd definitely suggest this place to others.

This is our favorite BBQ joint in Marion County. Friendly servers, good sweet tea, and good food. I prefer yellow (mustard-based) Potato Salad, and Blacksheep serves the white mayonnaise version instead, but that is merely a personal preference. If the briscuit meat wasn't quite so fatty, it would be 5-stars.

Ran across this gem while traveling through northern Arkansas. The catfish was my fav & the staff were super friendly. My dad had the brisket and he said it was pretty dang good as well.

Before I start.. just know I very seldom post issues here. But I feel this needs to be heard. My wife and I both ordered a 2 meat plate. The beans and potato salad were good but let me tell you. THE RIBS were the ABSOLUTE Worst I've had in my 49 years. (Please see pics.) They were not completely cooked. Couldn't tear them apart. But most they had a god awful sour fowl smell. Like stomach turning. I'm not one to mention food issues or even post but I felt I had to let them know. After letting the woman smell them s the stated. (Oh that's normal, we soak them in vinegar before we cook them.) I am concerned if people ate those today, they may be sick. My wife also ordered the sausage links and they were Pan seared. Total waste of $55..

Just ate here for the first time, and the food is delicious!!! I'm always a fan of fried okra, but theirs was breaded, seasoned, and cooked to perfection!!! The fried are to die for. The BBQ meats are divine, especially the ribs. The Texas twinkies are a treat you shouldn't miss out on. For anyone who wants a little more heat, they have some extra hot Ghost Pepper BBQ sauce is killer. I'll absolutely be back!!!(Get the sampler platter! You don't want to miss any of these meats!)

Everyone who I encountered who worked here was amazingly friendly. Food came out quick, wasn't my favorite BBQ but it was good. Nice quaint place to stop if in the area.

AMAZING service, we came to Yellville to float the river and got there just before closing. She assisted on still coming in and eating and I'm glad we did. Great BBQ and the fried pickles and ranch were the best!

The best brisket sandwich ever! My husband said it was the BEST he's ever had! The food was served FAST! Sides were very good. We had corn on the cob, Mac n cheese and baked beans. The parking lot was full of cars, that's why we pulled in! Great choice! We will be back! The old fashioned country atmosphere was darling. Checkers game on the front porch and rocking chairs. Love it. Clean bathrooms too! We gobbled our food too fast to take a photo. Trust me, it looked good! And there was tons of brisket on both sandwiches!

High quality, down home, no frills BBQ joint with family owned and operated. Friendly service and extraordinarily fairly priced. We brought our family of 6, two local and had an evening filled with great food. Highly recommend - new owners are committed to bringing excellence in BBQ to town. I've gave this place multiple tries and every time I'm disappointed called to place an order and said next available pickup was like 2 hrs from the time I called last time food was not edible at all time before that they were out of everything I ordered and what I did order it was horrible they need new management or something
